As part of the wider Connexional Team, the finance team seek to continually review and provide budget holders with management and analytical reports that help them to understand the financial consequences of their strategies and decisions. We are currently seeking a talented Systems Support Officer to join our dynamic team, working with IT, Finance and also non-finance colleagues.

As a Systems Support Officer, you will work with and support our Finance Systems Analyst, the finance team and other colleagues within the Connexional team in administering our finance systems, developing financial reports, troubleshooting and supporting colleagues in finding systems solutions. You will work collaboratively to analyse data, provide training to users and make suggestions that will improve operational efficiency.

You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the provision of accurate and timely reports and be able to analyse the data produced in a meaningful way.

There will also be the opportunity to work on new projects and initiatives to support information and user experience across the Connexional Team.

About you

As our ideal candidate you will have CIM/IDM or similar qualification, you have demonstrable end-to-end experience in developing integrated, multi-channel campaigns, including B2B and B2C. You'll have experience in setting objectives, tracking, and evaluating results and managing budgets.

Main Purpose of Job

To coordinate and lead the implementation and delivery of a sports, social and employability programme for Deaf & Disabled young people across West London.

• Train coaches, support workers and partners in basic BSL and Deaf Awareness.

• To ensure monitoring reports are completed to a high standard and in a timely fashion, as per funder’s monitoring guidelines.

About You

You will have atleast two years’ experience of working with teenagers/young adults who are Deaf or disabled and previous experience in delivery Deaf or disability activity programmes. You will have a good understanfing ofthe issues faced by Deaf and disabled participants and their families related to activity provision and attendance.

You will have the ability to work to deadlines and have good time mangement. Good organisational skills are essential.

Learning Disability Community Caseworker

Mencap's advice service are looking for a Learning Disability Community Caseworker that specialises in delivering energy and money advice using video calling, telephone and email advice and face to face in the community. 

This is a fixed term contract until March 2026, working 30 hours per week. We are flexible to where you do your work, but there will be an expectation of travel to our Peterborough office or community venues when needed.

Working with three other Energy and Money Advice Caseworkers - you will:

· Offer clear accessible advice to people with a Learning Disability, their families and carers.

· Manage a caseload of your own clients.

· Create, book and deliver workshops, events and webinars on Money and Energy Advice.

· Identify and undertake safeguarding alerts, following up on these and challenging them if necessary.

· Ensure that the caseworkers are at the right locations, with the right stock and equipment ensuring cost-efficient travel and venue planning/booking and excellent time management.

· Working with Subject Matter Experts in other nominated advice areas, to refer cases in and out of other parts of the team when the clients need more than Money and Energy Advice.

· Communicate effectively and accessibly, with empathy and clarity.

· Assist with the monitoring and evaluation of the project, capturing K.P.I's and flagging any slippage.

Our Finance team is looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join our Accounts Payable (AP) team for a six month fixed term contract and support the work and transactions that British Heart Foundation (BHF) perform for us to fund lifesaving science.
 
As an Accounts Payable Finance Officer, you'll support the team and take responsibility for delivering a high-quality service in terms of timely, accurate and efficient entry of BHF expenditure onto our central accounting system. Working on data capture, you will have knowledge of IPOS queue management.

You'll ensure you achieve key performance indicators and individual targets agreed upon and set by the AP Team leader, ensuring that all transactions are coded and authorised to meet month end deadlines and meet agreed service levels.

The AP team provides a high level of customer service, ensuring colleagues and suppliers are kept updated in the process and that the payment process is as smooth as possible, so you’ll effectively manage your workload and escalate complex issues to the team lead.

Understanding the needs of customers, you’ll raise the profile of finance through provision across the AP team of best-in-class service both internally and externally.

About you 
 

You’ll have previous experience within accounts payable or be someone wanting to get into Finance with strong organisational skills, able to pick up tasks quickly and with ease.

With excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, you’ll be able to build strong working relationships within Finance and across the BHF and be comfortable communicating finance information to non-finance colleagues. The role involves dealing with internal & external customers via email and over the phone, so you’ll be confident communicating in both conversation and writing.

• AP experience: A strong understanding and experience of BACs, invoicing, reconciliation, finance administration, and Account Payable processes. Familiarity with HMRC requirements for VAT and payments within the UK banking system, and a good knowledge of GDPR.
• Proficient in IT and financial systems: Excellent IT skills including MS Excel and financial application software packages. 
• Problem-solving and analytical skills: Outstanding attention to detail with an analytical approach to data. Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and methodical approach to identifying and resolving issues independently.
• Team player with a can-do attitude: A self-starter who is proactive and a good team player. Exhibits a can-do attitude and is able to manage workload with direction from the team lead.
• The role is working within a high-volume, fast-paced team, so you’ll have excellent time management and organisational skills.

Role Overview: 

Reporting to the HR Manager, the People Partner will act as a strategic HR advisor, fostering strong relationships with our teams and services to support their People needs and drive key initiatives.

This role will ensure effective employee relations, talent management, and performance development, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. By partnering with key stake holders, the People Partner will enhance organisational effectiveness and support Enable’s goals.  This team will sit within our Central Services division. 

Central Services ensures the company operates smoothly and assists in working towards Enables strategic direction. Supporting the various services that make up Enable, Central Services consists of small and high output teams including Human Resources, Marcomms, Operations and Finance. Together, these teams make up the foundation of our business, driving our mission and fostering growth and development.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Business Partnering: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across different services and teams, acting as a trusted HR advisor
• Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations when necessary
• Talent Management: Support the recruitment process, assist in the selection process, and facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires
• HR Initiatives: Drive and support HR projects and initiatives aligned with the organization's strategic goals, collaborating with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures
• Performance Management: Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning, and provide guidance on performance improvement plans
• Learning and Development: Identify training needs, facilitate learning and development programs, and support career development and growth opportunities for employees
• HR Analytics and Reporting: Analyse HR metrics, provide insights to drive data-informed decision-making, and prepare and present regular HR reports to the HR Manager and senior leadership
• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Promote and support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
• Stakeholder Coaching: Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures

MLC are working with a leading care organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner to support them following a period of growth.

Reporting into a supportive, dynamic and people-centric Head of Finance, the role works closely with stakeholders across the organisation, with a specific focus on the care homes and supported living side of the business. Although the organisation is well established, this is a fast-moving industry which has gone through rapid change over the past few years and is therefore offers the right candidate a great opportunity to deliver change and make a real difference.

Main responsibilities of the role:

• Provide business partnering services across the commercial directorate, including the Legal Director and the Property Director.
• Deliver accurate and insightful budgets and forecasts, with regular analysis of current financial positions and flagging issues ahead of time.
• Support a range of stakeholders with the management of their budgets, holding managers accountable where necessary and overseeing a budget of circa £50m.
• Be one of the ‘faces of finance’, working with the Head of Finance on various SLT and board level reports.

The role is responsible for the whole business area and has end to end oversight of projects within the care and support area. With almost £200m in fixed assets and a major £25m capital expenditure project about to get underway, the role manages a sizeable portfolio which will be highly beneficial for your CV. Reporting to the Management Accountant, the Finance Assistant will support the Finance Team, providing financial and administrative services for our business. The Finance team sits within our Central Services division.

Supporting the various services that make up Enable, Central Services consists of small and high output teams including Human Resources, Marcomms, Operations and Finance. Together, these teams make up the foundation of our business, driving our mission and fostering growth and development.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Accounts payable and receivables: controls and processes 
• Processing purchase invoices: entering and coding invoices (including VAT) in Xero managing the approval workflow (by cost centre budget holders) as required
• Setting up weekly payment runs, expense pay runs and individual payments as required 
• Maintaining the aged purchase ledger ensuring invoices are accounted for on receipt and tracked through to payment 
• Supplier set-up: ensure appropriate supplier information is obtained 
• Raising sales and recharge invoices on a monthly/quarterly basis 
• Bank reconciliation process 
• Posting cash journals to record payments/receipts from bank statements into the ledger 
• Processing and posting payroll journal
• Assisting with month-end processes 
• Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and other standard month end processes 
• Assisting with year-end accounts preparation and audit process 
• Assisting with general finance-related inquiries and correspondence received via the generic finance email inbox.

Main Purpose of Job

The Young Carers Project Worker will be responsible for planning, orgnaising and delivering sessions for young carers in the Northolt and Greenford areas of Ealing. They will provide individual and group support in a variety of settings in the local community as well as working closely with schools to identify new young carers and drive referrals to the project.

About You

You will have experience of working with young people, and building postive relationships with them. You will also have knowledge in working and setting up youth clubs.

The postholder will have a good understanding ofproject management, meeting deadlines and planning and delivering on sessions. 

Good communication skills is essential, with the experience of building positive relationships with young people. You should also have an ability to deal calmly and effectivelly with emotional and challenging situations with participants, as well as having a commitment to equalities, and challenging discrimination and creating environments of respect and trust. 

This role will invovle working evenings (once a week), school holidays (daytime) and occasional weekends (ad-hoc e.g. chaperone football matches).
