We are looking for a Senior Quantitative Research Associate within our Survey Coordination Centre in our Service Delivery team. You will need demonstrable quantitative research experience with skills in questionnaire design, research methods, and data handling analysis and reporting. You will also need demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining relationships with clients, as well as excellent project management skills. Experience of supervising others is also important for this role.

In this role you will lead on specific survey research projects. Focussed on the Coronation Food Project (CFP) Hubs across the Head of Commercial Development will lead the strategic direction and operational execution of commercial initiatives and activites.

About GLAN
The Global Legal Action Network (GLAN) works with affected communities to pursue innovative legal actions across borders to challenge states and other powerful actors involved in human rights violations and systemic injustice. Our actions address the most pressing instances of human rights concern and they fall within the following themes: War and occupation; accountability and supply chains; environmental and economic justice; and migration and border violence.
Since our establishment in 2016, we have developed legal strategies directly addressing human rights impacts in over 23 countries and territories. mySociety is a small, purposeful charity which uses digital tools to help people to participate more fully in democracy, make governments and society more transparent and help people work together to address societal challenges. We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser who has the research, proposal writing and budget development experience to deliver on our fundraising strategy by securing new sources of income from grant making foundations and government programmes, coupled with the strategic planning and management skills to further diversify our income by building our individual donations. What does the role involve?
· Deliver on and refine our four year fundraising strategy, building and maintaining a good understanding of the needs of each of our programmes, priorities and desired charitable goals
· Frame our current and planned activity to appropriately align with the priorities of potential funders
· Identify new leads for unrestricted grant funding to support our existing and core activity
· Identify relevant restricted grant funding for projects that align with our existing priorities and new adjacent areas

Requirements

Main purpose of this role
Our mentoring work provides a person-centred approach, supporting disabled people to access the life-changing power of movement and sport. The Role
Vocabulous is an innovative online resource to aid targeted and explicit vocabulary teaching in Key Stage 2 and 3 English lessons. We are looking for a part-time member of staff to lead our education programmes. This will involve talking to new schools about using the site, working with schools to support them to implement Vocabulous in lessons and running regional training programmes to build networks of schools that are confidently and consistently teaching Latin and Greek roots.
The other aspect of the role is to contribute to the development of the new KS2 and KS3 curricula. This will involve designing aspects of the new programmes, writing questions and resources, and planning changes in response to school feedback. Over the next couple of years, the programme is going to be split into a KS2 site and a KS3 site, with the KS2 site being launched in September 2025.

Recruit schools to participate in new programmes in target regions of the North West and Yorkshire.

Make visits to schools to provide on-going professional learning and support to teachers throughout the year.

Monitor schools’ site usage and provide support to teachers to effectively embed the curriculum in their lessons.

Proactively recruit new schools to use Vocabulous and secure commitments from returning schools.
Programme Development

Content development for the new KS2 and KS3 curricula, including question writing.

Create new resources such as worksheets, certificates and comprehensions.

Oversee the curriculum plan, ensuring that key knowledge is revisited and skills are developed.

Make changes to the curriculum and resources based on feedback from schools.

We are looking for an experienced Immigration Caseworker or Solicitor who meets or is close to meeting the Legal Aid Agency (LAA) supervisor standard to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll handle a diverse caseload, providing expert advice on a range of immigration matters, including visa applications, deportation and immigration documentation. You’ll work with clients who need compassionate, client-focused support and ensure their cases are managed effectively and in compliance with regulatory and legal aid standards.
