We are a Grant making Charity that helps individuals and dependants who are not able to work due to illness, injury and or infirmity. We help people across the industry, although, any applicant needs to have worked within the entertainment industry for at least seven years. In addition to our main fund we also offer emergency crisis grants and benefits advice and support. The Fund plays a leading role in Acting for Others, a charity made up of a network of theatrical charities aimed at fundraising to provide support to people in the profession who are experiencing difficulties.

We are a charity that also owns and manages a multi-tenant building in London, providing space to other charities, and businesses. As landlords, we’re responsible for the day-to-day running of the building, co-ordinating maintenance and looking after our service maintained offices on the 2nd floor.

The Royal Theatrical Fund is a Charity incorporated with a Royal Charter. The charity was established by Charles Dickens in 1839, a new Royal Charter with a wider remit was granted in 1974.

The anticipated split between the areas of work 70% grant applications, 20% office management, and 10% fund raising activities.

Duties and Key responsibilities:

• The role will be to co-ordinate the grant-making operations, working closely with the Grant Manager/Welfare Advisor in processing all Grants and collating all  relevant information for presentation at the Fund’s monthly Board meeting.
• Dealing with general enquiries for support and assisting people to apply, offering a friendly supportive ear to people who call.
• Entering Information on the database.
• Assisting in the management of the building, monitoring and ensuring all health & safety policies are followed, including managing cleaning and maintenance companies.
• Assisting with the events including Acting for Others fundraising activities.

We’re looking for an experienced Programme Officer to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in the delivery of our In2STEM Programme during a busy and high impact period. The Programme Officer will support the delivery of the In2STEM Programme including recruitment, planning, delivery, participant and volunteer management, and evaluation.

Duties and responsibilities:

Programme Delivery

• Managing a caseload of students and volunteers (work experience hosts) from application stage to successful completion of the programme, including recruitment, matching, onboarding, troubleshooting throughout the programme and evaluation.

• Creating and developing engaging communication materials about the programme including video presentations, posters/flyers, case studies and website text, newsletters and images. 

• Monitoring student and volunteer (work experience host) applications to ensure targets and milestones are met. 

• Maintaining up to date records via the programme database and ensuring data protection. 

• Managing relationships with existing donors and supporters and networking to develop new relationships with prospective donors and supporters.

Our Communications Officer will play an essential role at a key moment for IVAR, with communications at the heart of our new strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end federation financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes
• Consolidate and analyse financial data across multiple countries and regions
• Prepare high-quality reports and insights for Executive and Board stakeholders
• Support and collaborate with the Global Finance Executive (GFE)
• Partner with senior stakeholders in a complex, matrix environment

Essential Skills & Experience

• CCAB/CIMA qualified accountant
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Proven ability to consolidate and interpret complex financial data
• Experience working across multiple stakeholders in a strategic capacity
• Background in the charity/voluntary sector

My client can offer flexible working throughout the duration of the contract and an expectation of 2 days a week in the office based in central London and the rest working remotely.

TPP Recruitment is supporting a well-established awarding organisation to recruit an External Quality Assurer – Security. This is a key appointment within their quality and regulation function, supporting centres delivering SIA licence-linked qualifications. Due to the specialist nature of the role, applications from experienced and credible EQAs within the security sector are particularly welcomed.
 
 
Salary: £35,505 per annum
Employment type: Permanent
Working arrangements: Remote with travel to centres (mainly focused in the London, Manchester and Birmingham areas)
Working pattern: Full-time, 37 hours per week

About the Role
 
Reporting to the Lead External Quality Assurer (Security), you will play a central role in maintaining quality and regulatory compliance across approved centres delivering security qualifications.
 
Your work will directly support safe, effective training and assessment, ensuring learners are properly prepared to work within the security sector.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Conducting robust external quality assurance activity across approved centres delivering SIA licence-linked qualifications
• Carrying out centre visits, audits and sampling of learner evidence
• Producing clear, accurate and timely EQA reports, identifying strengths and areas for improvement
• Providing guidance and support to centres on assessment practice, compliance and regulatory requirements
• Supporting standardisation activity and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contributing to malpractice investigations where required
• Maintaining sector competence through ongoing CPD and engagement with regulatory updates

 
 
Skills / Experience Required
 

• Qualified External Quality Assurer, or working towards EQA/TAQA (or equivalent)
• Occupational competence within the security sector, including frontline experience or delivery of security-licensed training
• Strong knowledge of SIA licence-linked qualifications
• Recent experience carrying out EQA activity within a regulated environment
• Confident report writer with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently, managing your own workload and travel
