We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Enhanced Support Worker to join our RBKC Mental Health Service in Kensington & Chelsea.

£28,538.40 per annum, working 40 hours per week. Benefits include 25 days Annual Leave, pension schemes, staff discounts, healthcare and career progression.

The shift pattern for this role includes 5x 8hr shifts per week on a rolling rota of Monday to Sunday. This post involves some weekend and bank holiday working.

What you'll do:
Understand the concept of Recovery and apply those principles to develop an environment and service that enhances recovery
Put the service-user at the centre of their support and promote optimism and hope for their increased independence
Act as a positive influence on service-users encouraging responsible behaviour and self reliance to people residing in the Service
Support people in a way that maximises their self-sufficiency and enables them to live independently upon discharge from the service
Support customers to maintain their tenancy
Carry out holistic assessments and devise appropriate recovery focused support plans, and comprehensive risk assessments in full consultation with service-users, their families/carers and other agencies
Ensure recovery focused support plans are created, reviewed, evaluated and amended in accordance with changing needs, presenting risks and individual preferences in order to promote recovery
Undertake key working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/Service Manager
Be flexible and responsive to the needs of service-users as directed by their personal support plan
Provide recovery focused support to achieve personal goals/aspirations in partnership with service-users, family members and statutory agencies. To work with service-users on a one to one basis to achieve positive outcomes within the given service timeframe

What you'll bring:
At least an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care, or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years experience in working in mental health or other specialist social care services
Bring expertise in specialist areas such as dual diagnosis, substance misuse, hoarding or therapeutic interventions.
An understanding of care-planning processes and Models of Care within mental health
Knowledge of group and individual therapy
