Main Purpose of Role: Identify, gather, and shape content & case studies suitable for wide-ranging comms channels, while effectively supporting the Comms team to deliver engaging comms across all channels. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Support the Head of Communications to develop and maintain the annual comms calendar/plan and work with teams to support its delivery. 

• Support PR & Communications Manager in gathering and sharing case studies from start to finish.

• Nurture relationships with clients and frontline workers as appropriate, with regular communication throughout the year - for example, thanking, sharing the Year in Review, sending Christmas cards. 

• Work closely with the Digital Manager to support our social media strategy and help manage social media channels day-to-day.

• Work closely with colleagues across both the Fundraising and Programmes teams to ensure their comms needs are supported effectively. 

• Manage and support events organised or supported by the Comms team - for example, the Annual Appeal launch event. 

• Work closely with the Heads of Communications to manage the delivery of the Appeal Hub. 

• Contribute to comms planning cycles, brainstorming sessions and any reporting required. 

• Support ongoing work on language, branding, and act as a custodian of the St Martin’s Charity brand. 

• Oversee the maintenance of the Content Warehouse and facilitate colleagues across the team to access the content required to support their work.

• Deputise for the Digital Manager in developing and publishing content for the Charity or Frontline Network websites.

Experience and Knowledge 

• Proven experience of creating digital content to use across a wide range of platforms and channels. 

• Proven experience of writing for different audiences for a variety of different media, including print and digital. 

• Previous experience of using Adobe products would offer an advantage. 

• Previous experience of working with people living in challenging situations, would offer a distinct advantage.

At the Poppy Factory, we help armed forces veterans to find meaningful and sustainable employment after service. This often means overcoming a longstanding health condition or injury, and other barriers to employment such as addiction & homelessness. Our aim is to empower veterans, help them to recognise their unique skills and give them the confidence and skills to move forwards in their career.

As a Navigator, you will be assisting veterans who are furthest from employment to engage in meaningful activity as they look to gradually progress back towards work. Based at your home, with regular travel, including some overnight stays at our Richmond offices. The Navigator is a non-clinical role focused on supporting Veterans with mental or physical health conditions. The role aims to support them to overcome various factors impacting their lives, to achieve improved well-being and reduced social isolation. Clients of the service may present with issues around housing, accessing relevant health care services, substance misuse, education and training, financial concerns, and benefits, amongst others.

As a result, Southwark Council is funding CAS to run a dedicated private renters’ support organisation to help support and promote the interests of private renters in the borough, and to undertake a range of activities to support and empower private tenants, particularly the most disadvantaged. 

To deliver the project we are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to provide overall coordination of the project and to lead on developing a proposal and business case for a permanent independent Renters’ Support Organisation in Southwark.

This is a unique oppertunity for a passionate and experienced fundraiser to progress further in their career, with the freedom to creatively enhance and develop the fundraising strategy of an impactful community-based charity.

As Senior Fundraising Lead you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will lead on the development of fundraising at Baobab, exploring new avenues for funding, as well as nurturing and growing existing fundraising relationships. Senior Public Fundraising Officer

The Eve Appeal

The Eve Appeal is the UK’s leading charity working on prevention of the five gynaecological cancers – womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal. Our aim is to prevent gynaecological cancers and save lives by raising awareness and funding ground-breaking research focused on risk prediction, earlier detection and developing screening for all of the five gynae cancers.

What's this role about?

This exciting position is responsible for delivering our fundraising programme to the public, with support from our Deputy Head of Fundraising.

You will focus on delivering key fundraising activities and an exceptional experience to a wide range of supporters, ensuring that you deepen relationships and maximise value. You will also coordinate and deliver the marketing of our public fundraising activity, alongside colleagues in communications and digital engagement.

• Individual giving (direct marketing, regular giving, in-memory)

The Food Chain exists to ensure people living with HIV in London can access the nutrition they need to get well, stay well and lead healthy, independent lives. We deliver meals, groceries and formula milk, run cookery and nutrition classes, and hold twice-weekly communal meals for some of the most vulnerable and isolated people living with HIV in London. 

We are the only HIV Nutrition specialist charity in the UK: we exist at the intersection between HIV, food poverty and social isolation. Everyone accessing our services is referred by a health or social care professional who has identified that they are experiencing crisis. Each person receives a personalised Dietetic Assessment from one of our HIV Specialist Dietitians, designed specifically to meet their needs. The Director of Income Generation & Partnerships, along with the Director of Services & Development, lead the organisation's small staff team to deliver vital services to an average of 500 people every year. The Director of Income Generation is a vital link in The Food Chain, ensuring income is secured to enable the delivery and sustainability of all our services and activities, and setting the organisation’s strategic direction for the achievement of our charitable purpose.

Since we were formed on Christmas Day 1988, The Food Chain has delivered food services to people living with HIV every week since. We were founded by volunteers, and are proud that volunteers are still key to the deliver of our charitable services. The Food Chain family is vast - it’s not at all uncommon for us to be out fundraising and someone run up to us with a shout of “Food Chain! I volunteered for you in 1994!” 

Position: Director of Income Generation & Partnerships

Strategic Management

• Contribute to the development of The Food Chain’s strategic and operational plans and ensure income is secured for their effective delivery in line with all relevant legislation, best practice and The Food Chain’s values

We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to support the management of our special purpose funds (SPFs). These funds contain charitable donations for services across Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and can be used to support projects that benefit patients and staff, over and above what the NHS could normally provide.

Our activity in this area is increasing, and we’re looking for someone to help us maintain the highest levels of administration and stakeholder engagement. In this role you will be responsible for managing the administration of our special purpose fund operations and processes. This will include the management of special purpose fund claims, a dedicated email inbox, invoice processing, engagement with NHS staff who oversee these funds (known as fund advisers) and other ad hoc administrative tasks.

Working closely with the Fund Engagement Officer, you will be expected to manage multiple tasks and deliver to strict deadlines. You will also contribute towards the team’s wider objectives and cross departmental working. You will also be able to benefit from training and development opportunities to assist with your core responsibilities.

Join Britain’s biggest charity supporting Kinship Carers. 

We know kinship carers are strong, capable and fiercely determined to ensure they get what they need to support their kinship family. And we want to support them to feel confident and empowered to do that. Kinship has been awarded funding to develop the first ever training programme for kinship carers. The programme will support all kinship carers across England in the caring role.  

Are you or have you been a kinship carer? Could you use your skills and experience to co-deliver engaging training workshops for other kinship carers?

This role is core member of our Training team responsible for the delivery and facilitation of our in person and online workshops for kinship carers alongside colleagues some of whom have lived experience of kinship care. There will be a lot of delivery in person and online to reach kinship carers across England and individual and team targets to be met as part of this high-profile contract.

You’ll need to be a confident, experienced facilitator with exceptional communication skills. You’ll have a creative, energetic and determined approach to providing engaging and interactive experiences for participants and you’ll understand how people take on information and be able to differentiate your style to respond to a wide variety of needs.

On a practical level you’ll be confident and organised in your approach, be calm under pressure, and be equally comfortable facilitating sessions in person and online to large and small audiences. You’ll be confident using technology including Zoom and be familiar and at ease using a wide range of tools and techniques relevant to both online and in person learning.

Job Summary 

The Youth Development Worker (YDW) is a crucial and exciting role that aims to support youth mission and ministry in churches across the Stepney episcopal area, with an immediate focus on supporting around 22 churches from both evangelical and Anglo-Catholic traditions involved in our five new Youth Minster initiatives across Hackney and Islington deaneries. 

Job responsibilities 

• Work intensively with parishes to develop their offer using the parish development pathway. With immediate focus on supporting around 22 churches involved in our five new Youth Minsters 

• Leads and support Youth Minster initiatives across Hackney and Islington deaneries, including working to achieve missional impact and financial sustainability by 2030 

• Lead implementation of Diocese Growing Younger Strategy in The Stepney Area. 

• Oversight of the youth budget in partnership with the Programme Manager (shared oversight) 

• To develop partnerships with Tower Hamlets youth projects

• Contribute to a positive safeguarding and racial justice culture 

• Supporting the coordination of Area-wide events for young people in partnership with Minsters.

• Connect with the Area staff team and lead in supporting them in culture change to show Growing Younger as priority – reporting on progress of youth projects in Stepney 

• Develop, facilitate and/or provide Area level training for volunteers. 

• Develop and improve existing connections with both Church and Non-Church schools, especially with School Chaplains, to ensure that these links are understood and utilized by local churches.

• Connect the resources of the central team with parishes. Especially promoting the learning platform and the Apprenticeship Programme 

Person Specification 

Essential 

• Experience in paid role in Children’s or Youth Ministry.

Job Purpose:

• Contribute to hyh’s overall Fundraising strategy as a member of the Fundraising Team
• Have day to day responsibility for the Individual Giving income stream
• Manage a portfolio of existing Individual Giving supporters, providing exceptional supporter care and building relationships, stewarding and nurturing existing donors.
