Rights & Security International (RSI) is seeking a part-time Finance and Grant Management Officer to maintain our internal financial controls, assist with budgeting, and oversee our expenditures, especially by continually tracking our grant spending. 

The successful candidate will bring a strong knowledge of financial management, and will be comfortable creating budgets and forecasts. Ideally, they will be familiar with charity funding, especially restricted grants.

RSI is looking for a finance and grants management professional who has: 

• An appropriate qualification or degree in a field such as finance or accounting.
• Experience managing the financial aspects of large and small grants.
• An ability to produce clear, persuasive and detailed reports in English.
• Experience with budgeting, managing accounts, tracking expenditures and preparing financial forecasts.

 Responsibilities: 

• Manage the expenditure of restricted and unrestricted grant funds; carry out grant monitoring and reporting.
• Supporting grant applications, for example by identifying needs and developing budgets.
• Assist with budgets and financial forecasts.
• Periodically review and update RSI’s internal financial controls.
• Assist with monthly management accounts and annual audits.
• Review staff requests for reimbursement.
• Assist the Executive Director and Development Officer in liaising with current and potential funders, as needed.

Your Job Description 

As a Youth Project Leader, you will: 

• Deliver ReachOut sessions at the same partner school on the same day and time weekly during term time.

• Prepare your ReachOut sessions, following ReachOut’s curriculum and adapting the activities to the needs and interests of your assigned group.

• Facilitate engaging ReachOut sessions for the young people attending by ensuring that the voice of young people is listened to and impacts the way the sessions are planned and facilitated.

• Manage and support a group of volunteer mentors; supporting them to build strong rapport with their mentees and helping them to understand how to best adapt their mentoring approach to the young people they are working with.

• Support theyoung people in your session to reach and be confident in their potential by facilitating the creation of good mentee/mentor relationships and by running activities to build the ReachOut Character Strengths.

• Complete monitoring and evaluation activities to ensure the sessions are as impactful as possible and set up strategies with the help of your line manager to help each young person in your group reach their mentoring goal.

• Keep in touch with the parents/carers of the young people in your group about attendance, successes and challenges.

• Manage your project’s weekly admin by planning your sessions, maintaining your attendance and providing detailed project updates to your line manager.

• Attend ReachOut events and socials with their mentors. • Follow ReachOut’s policies/procedures to safeguard young people.

• Act and communicate in a professional manner, in line with ReachOut character strengths and culture.

We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.

This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.

You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver an excellent experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

The North & East of Scotland is an area filled with some of our most committed supporters but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from hospitals across the region, and our Home from Home, ‘Ciaran’s House’ in Edinburgh, enables families to stay close to their loved one for free during treatment, so building relationships with these teams are a must.

The Role

As a Park Officer, you will assist in the management of Greenwich Park, focusing on developing and enhancing contract and service delivery.

Charity People is delighted to be working with a national, leading children's charity for a part time Fundraising Manager for their Individual Supporters Team. This role will be a part of a job share.

Job Title: Fundraising Manager

Location: Home based with travel to London office once a month

Contract: Permanent and part time - 3 days a week

Salary: £41,503 - £46,114 per annum pro rata (plus homeworking or London weighting allowance if applicable)

The Role

The charity is looking for an experienced, and enthusiastic manager to join their Supporter Development team in an exciting role focussing on maximising engagement and retention of their supporters.

Reporting to the Associate Head of Supporter Development, the successful candidate and their team will be responsible for improving our supporter experience and the management of several loyalty and retention programmes.

The Supporter Development team focusses on engaging existing supporters to build loyalty and maximise long term income for the charity. The ideal candidate will be confident and experienced working on large scale fundraising campaigns. In so doing they will be playing a key role in maximising income and minimising attrition and raising vital funds for children.

Responsibilities:

• To work with Associate Head and Head of Department to develop and deliver strategies and annual business plans to develop the department's contribution to fundraising.
• To work with the Associate Head and Head of Department to create the annual budget and activity plan for the team to enable the department to plan its activity and services
• To play a key role in maximising income and minimising attrition for the charity from supporters and potential supporters through development and delivery of fundraising strategies and management of long term supporter relationships
• To work effectively with other teams and departments in communications, fundraising and other functions within the charity to maximise income for children
• To lead, manage and develop a team within Fundraising in line with corporate standards in order to meet business requirements
• To participate in Fundraising or cross-functional projects as required to support the department's fundraising as a whole, and where appropriate to take the lead in such projects

Ideally, you will have the following skills and experiences;

• Managing, planning and executing large scale retention communications
• Working with data teams to review data insights and implement improvements
• Optimising supporter experience and loyalty
• Building and managing complex reporting and budgets
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external agencies
