The Social Media Manager is an integral role within the Marketing team at CoppaFeel! and will play an essential part in supporting our 3-year organisational growth strategy. The Social Media Manager needs to be social obsessed with a keen eye for new and emerging trends that will ensure CoppaFeel!’s social channels organically reach our 18 - 24 year old target audience. 

In this role you’ll work with our Senior Social Media Manager to execute and manage the delivery of our social media strategy. You will be responsible for our social media content creation, ensuring we stay on top of emerging trends and that our health messaging is delivered in an accurate way. You will work collaboratively with the wider Marketing, Fundraising, Operations and Education teams within the organisation. 

This role is a hyrbid role, with an expectation to be in the office 2 days per week.

The right candidate will be proactive, creative and organised, as well as being fully immersed in youth culture and digital trends. Ultimately you will have a real desire to make a difference, ensuring that all breast cancers are diagnosed early.

CoppaFeel! is the UK’s only breast cancer charity awareness charity for young people. Our mission is to ensure all breast cancers are diagnosed early and accurately by educating young people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encouraging them to check and empowering them to speak to their GP if they notice something unusual. 

Key Responsibilities

• As the heartbeat of our social channels, you’ll ensure that we’re agile and reactive to emerging trends. You’ll be creating engaging content both in and out of the office, engaging with our target audience. 
• Responsible for the scheduling and production of content across our social media channels. 
• Create social media content that reflects CoppaFeel!’s brand guidelines and tone of voice.

Are you passionate about supporting older people to develop and maintain their physical wellbeing? We are looking to recruit an Exercise at Home Coordinator, sitting within the Wellbeing & Connections team, to deliver a programme of activities that can support older people with mobility challenges through exercise at home. 

The desired candidate will have a Level Three Fitness Qualification (PT) and will assist clients to gain confidence through movement, including chair-based exercise, and walking support for older frail clients in their home. The role is pivotal in enabling people with chronic conditions to become more active, and for people who have temporarily lost mobility to regain the confidence to walk. To ensure the ongoing effectiveness of this programme offer, the role will include training and supporting volunteers. 

Role functions: 

• Running our Exercise at Home programme – assessing new clients in their homes, prescribing exercise programmes for clients that align with their needs and goals, training volunteers to deliver the programmes, and managing the day-to-day running of the project.
• Delivering walking support sessions - these will be tailored to be accessible by those who have either recovered from a fall or have had surgery and need the confidence to access the community. These sessions will enable people to increase their mobility, whilst also having an opportunity to socialise with others in the local community. Training volunteers to assist clients with walking support will be a key part of the role. 
• Co-ordinating other community-based physical wellbeing activities, including our monthly Flaneur Walks during the warmer months, and any new projects that arise. 
• Networking with relevant local bodies, NHS trusts, GP clinics, and social services to make them aware of the services we provide and to strengthen our presence in the field. 

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and have at least one year’s experience of working with older people. A Level Three Fitness qualification is compulsory and a qualification in delivering exercise programmes for those with mobility issues would be advantageous.

The Rugby Portobello Trust (RPT) is a North Kensington charity that has been supporting children, young people and families from all across west London since 1884. Through arts, sport, music, mentoring and support in academics, employment, mental health and wellbeing, we help children and young people in our community to overcome barriers to reach their full potential. We have a team of around 40 staff members and we support more than 1,300 children, young people and families every year. We run services six days per week and we are supported by more than 200 volunteers and 1,500 local funders. The Rugby Portobello Trust is a part of the national charity People Potential Possibilities (P3 Charity).

This is a really exciting time for the charity as we celebrate our 140th anniversary and look towards our next phase of development to ensure we’re offering the best possible support to the next generation in our community. To do this, we are recruiting for a Director of Youth and Family Services to lead and manage operational service delivery and the delivery of our outreach and community engagement in and around west London. The post adoption post holder will be located in Hillingdon, as part of the wider RAA partnership located across London and surrounding areas. The hub services for the RAA include the recruitment, assessment and support of Coram approved adopters, which are located at the Coram Campus in London.

The post holder will be employed by Coram, a service with a long track record of serving children well and outstanding ratings from Ofsted. The task for the Regional Adoption Agency is to ensure that all children who have a plan for adoption are given every chance to have that ambition realised and when placed in a permanent family receive the relevant support as their needs change and develop.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Family Finding Social Worker or Senior Practitioner wishing to play an active role in the delivery and development of a high quality family finding service for the London Borough of Redbridge, for children with a plan for adoption.

The post holder will have lead responsible professional for family finding, but will also assist the team with providing a statutory post adoption service [assessments for post adoption support and applications to the Adoption Support Fund] for families living within the local area.

The post holder will be part of a small and very supportive team to develop practise and skills in this area. The post holder will also be able to have access resources and services within Hillingdon to support this role and be part of a bigger network of support from colleagues from across the RAA. This role will function as a job share to offer continuity to the children we are family finding for.
