Individual Giving Executive

We are hiring for an Individual Giving Executive to join our Committed Giving team in our dialogue team. This role is responsible for providing day to day project support, working with internal stakeholders and managing agency partners to ensure fundraising campaigns deliver. This is an opportunity to work on a huge campaign and play a key role in fundraising for the Children's Cancer Centre.

About You 

We’re looking for:

• A creative and self-motivated individual.
• Previous project management experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Experience managing external relationships. 
• The ability to build great relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

Previous experience with regular giving programmes (cash, direct debit, weekly lottery products) would be beneficial for this role but it is not essential.

About the Team

The Committed Giving Team is a high achieving, fast-paced team responsible for the acquisition and retention of committed/ regular donors. The team work closely together with the shared aim of delivering exceptional supporter experience and raising the reliable income the hospital needs to help provide extraordinary care for seriously ill children and their families.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing day-to-day financial processing, management and reporting; and, with the CEO, for providing medium and long-term financial planning and analysis in support of the growth strategy. The role will involve responsibility for systems’ maintenance and development, business process improvements and building/facilities management of the offices at No.1 Buckingham Place, Victoria SW1.

The role will include (but not limited to):

• Processing and payment of all invoices, expenses; and grants (to individuals and training providers), ensuring appropriate approvals, accurate and compliant filing and storage on internal systems
• Raising of invoices and liaison with suppliers, including debt collection, as required
• Building/facilities/utilities management relating to QEST’s status as Freeholder and Landlord of the premises at No.1 Buckingham Place
• Processing of all invoicing and recharges relating to QEST’s role as Freeholder and Landlord, including rent, service charges and other services including insurance, utilities, IT and telephony
• Processing and reconciliation of bank transactions, with regular reporting to the CEO on cash status and projection

Senior Programme Officer, In2STEM

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000

What we are looking for

We are excited to be recruiting a Senior Programme Officer to join our growing In2STEM Programme team. The focus of this role will be to support delivery and ensure that our young people have an exceptional experience on the programme. You will also be kept engaged through deputising for the In2STEM Programme Manager one day per week.

You will have a good understanding of the challenges today’s young people from less privileged backgrounds may face and bring a proven track record of supporting vulnerable young people and/or adults with a range of support needs, including mental health needs, learning difficulties and disabilities. You will be good at building trust and rapport with young people and have practical experience of appropriately, calmly navigating situations involving safeguarding and signposting for young people and adults.

Duties and responsibilities

The purpose of the Senior Programme Officer role is to support the successful delivery of the In2STEM Programme and ensure our young people have an excellent experience.

Your specific duties will include:

Programme Delivery

• Managing a caseload of students and volunteers from application stage to successful completion of the programme, including recruitment, placement matching, onboarding, event planning and programme delivery (in-person and online), troubleshooting throughout the programme and evaluation.

• Where appropriate, supporting the Programme Manager as the first port of call for programme staff with enquiries or needing advice relating to pastoral care for our beneficiaries.

• Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with partners and funders to further the delivery of our work. This will include for example, working with schools, colleges, academic and professional services staff at universities.

• Creating and developing engaging resources to support the programme including video presentations, posters/flyers, case studies and website text and images.

• Monitoring student and volunteer applications to ensure targets and milestones are met.

• Maintaining up to date records via the programme database and ensuring data protection.

• Ensuring all operations are in line with Health and Safety and Safeguarding policies and procedures.

Evaluation

• Developing programme activities, using student and volunteer evaluation data and staff insights.

• Optimising systems, processes and ways of working, to ensure delivery models are scalable and achieve intended outputs and outcomes to the highest degree of quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.

• Maintaining a comprehensive overview of programme activities, among both staff and partners, and reporting on progress at regular intervals as defined internally and contractually.

• Supporting team members to create evaluation and student data reports.

• Supporting the creation and dissemination of case studies, working closely with the fundraising team to ensure funder requirements are met.

Deputy Managing

• Managing the In2STEM team when the Programme Manager is not working, including preparing and running programme update meetings from time to time.

• Supporting and assisting the Programme Manager to ensure organisational and delivery targets are achieved.

As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and amended in consultation with the post holder. The postholder will carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the line manager.

Person Specification:

Essential

• Track record of experience directly supporting vulnerable young people and/or adults with a range of support needs, including mental health needs, learning difficulties and disabilities, facilitating access to other support services as needed.

• An understanding of the social and economic barriers that prevent some young people accessing STEM careers and an ability to recognise the importance of diversity and inclusion in STEM.

• Knowledge and understanding of the STEM sector, including higher education, apprenticeships and STEM careers.

• Experience of delivering projects for young people including recruitment and caseload working.

• Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation skills and an ability to adapt to a range of audiences.

• Good understanding of safeguarding in practice when working with young people.

• Flexible and adaptable, with an ability to pick up new tasks quickly and keep a level head when faced with challenges.

• Knowledge, understanding or experience of programme or project evaluation.

• Experience of deputy managing or managing staff or volunteers.

Desirable

• Experience of leadership and people management including motivating, coaching and developing team members to achieve results, fostering positive, collaborative working relationships with colleagues.

• Excellent IT skills including experience of Gmail, Google Workspace (or Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and Mondaycom.

We are looking for an enthuiastic and driven Head of Fundraising and Development who has a strong track record of success in strategic development and management of six-figure funding partnerships and relationship building.

You will develop and foster relationships with the aim of obtaining financial support for the sustainable development and growth of QEST. Stewarding existing funders and developing new business, the role also presents an opportunity over the long term, once funding is secured, to lead and build a fundraising team at a transformational time in QEST’s development and strategic direction.  There is currently a Fundraising Manager.

Age International are recruiting for a part-time Board & Executive Support Officer.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an aptitude for stakeholder management and organisational relationships, as you will support the CEO, Board and wider team, as well as liaising with colleagues within Age UK, HelpAge International and the Disasters Emergency Committee.

Property Resources Officer

We are offering a unique and exciting opportunity to join in the work of the Connexional Property Support team and the wider Methodist Church in delivering its strategic plan to make the best use of its buildings for mission in local communities across the country.

Working alongside the Director and colleagues within the team, you will be helping to provide the essential support and guidance the team offers to Trustees, Ministers, Connexional colleagues and the wider church.

Your role will be varied, including supporting colleagues in their specific areas of work and expertise - from listed buildings to net zero initiatives.  You will also lead on engagement with Trustees and alike who are seeking advice and guidance in relation to a variety of property resource needs.  This could be through the provision of proactive support of and input into, relevant forms of guidance, communications and funding, community engagement, training and good practice.

Alongside this, you will lead on the communications and resourcing to the District Property Officer network and other relevant networks, across the Connexion.

You will also support the Director in the administration of property related grants.

About You

We are looking for someone who wants to make a positive contribution to the work of the Property Support team and be equally comfortable collaborating in a team environment or under your own initiative.  You will have experience supporting a senior team, and preferably have property or project management experience, although this is not essential.

As the role will underpin and contribute to supporting the team’s work with external colleagues, particularly the District Property Officer network, it is essential that you are comfortable in engaging with a range of stakeholders, and have excellent organisational skills, particularly in terms of resourcing and training.

The role will be very collaborative with team colleagues, and therefore experience and ability to plan, research and assimilate new information alongside the analysis and delivery of projects will be an essential quality.

Coram Ambitious for Adoption Regional Adoption Agency [RAA] is a commissioned Voluntary Adoption Agency delivering statutory adoption support services and family finding for a number of local authority partners. The post adoption post holder will be located in Redbridge, as part of the wider RAA partnership located across London and surrounding areas. The hub services for the RAA include the recruitment, assessment and support of Coram approved adopters, which are located at the Coram Campus in London.

The post holder will be employed by Coram, a service with a long track record of serving children well and outstanding ratings from Ofsted. The task for the Regional Adoption Agency is to ensure that all children who have a plan for adoption are given every chance to have that ambition realised and when placed in a permanent family receive the relevant support as their needs change and develop.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Family Finding Social Worker or Senior Practitioner wishing to play an active role in the delivery and development of a high quality family finding service for the London Borough of Redbridge, for children with a plan for adoption.

The post holder will have lead responsible professional for family finding, but will also assist the team with providing a statutory post adoption service [assessments for post adoption support and applications to the Adoption Support Fund] for families living within the local area.

The post holder will be part of a small and very supportive team to develop practise and skills in this area. The post holder will also be able to have access resources and services within Hillingdon to support this role and be part of a bigger network of support from colleagues from across the RAA. This role will function as a job share to offer continuity to the children we are family finding for.

Global Human Relations Specialist 

Responsibilities

— The responsibilities of Global Human Relations Specialist will include, but are not limited to:

• Determine and facilitate optimal hiring status for new and continuing staff (direct employment, EoR employment, independent consulting) and initiate and manage contracts as appropriate.
• When there are open positions, working with hiring managers to manage the full cycle of recruitment of positions including job scoping, candidate sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, background checking, developing offers and closing the hire.
• Guide and manage onboarding, orientation and exit processes.
• Evaluate and facilitate staff mobility and travel requirements (visas, permits, and registrations) as needed.

• Consult with, coach, and support managers and staff on standard personnel transactions, employee relations issues, interpretation and fair application of policies and applicable laws.
• Recommend appropriate resources and training for professional development needs.
• Organise staff events for team and capacity building and cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary learning including annual retreat.
• Maintain a pulse on staff morale and identify strategies to enhance staff cohesion, engagement and overall health and well-being.
• Specify and optimize HRIS to efficiently manage human resource related processes, record keeping and analytics. Manage HRIS interfaces with other relevant systems such as accounting.
• Develop and manage relationships with staffing related service providers including payroll and HRIS providers, accountants and employment law experts.

General and Other

• Coordinate user training and resourcing on HRIS (including payroll) platform, as needed.
• Keep abreast of developments in foundation staffing (role descriptions and structures).
• Keep abreast of best practices in international HR.
• Occasional travel as required for execution of duties.
• Other duties as are consistent with specialist’s role and experience as the foundation continues to evolve, or from time to time as prompted by institutional priorities.

Qualifications

— The successful Global Human Relations Specialist candidate will likely reflect much of the following profile:

 Essential

• A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a field related to the work.
• Five years’ progressively responsible HR experience.
• International HR experience. GPHR or PHRi or equivalent, a plus.

About you and the role

The purpose of this role is to manage operational delivery of our School Chef Educator programme, ensuring efficient and effective delivery.  The School Chef Educator programme is a 10 week training programme for school kitchen staff, covering topics such as Reducing Food Waste, and Food Education. It is delivered in a blended learning format, through a mix of in-person training, bitesize webinars, and our online learning website.

You will be supported by our Director of Transformations, and manage our Chef Trainers who deliver our School Chef Educator Programme. You will work closely with the Director of Partnerships & Impact, our School Engagement Manager and our Research Supervisor, to identify and liaise with suitable funding partners, academies and schools, and ensure we are monitoring and evaluating our programme delivery to evidence it’s impact and ensure quality delivery across the cohorts that take part.

Your role will oversee our School Chef Educator Programmes, delivered across England. This role will be primarily focused in London, but will include supporting schools in locations across the UK as we develop new hubs. An average week in this role might see you attending meetings with new partners to secure support for new programmes, sourcing venues for training days, scheduling programme delivery dates, identifying and contacting schools in our programme delivery areas to sign up their kitchen teams to our programme, developing new content on our learning management system, attending webinars our Chef Trainers are delivering, and supporting Chef Trainers with our in-person kick off sessions, and graduation celebrations.
