As the Finance Analyst you will be responsible for the following duties:

• To work closely with the Head of Internal Operations on the required grant drawdowns requests including attending quarterly meetings with government bodies.
• To do a cash reconciliation of grant funds on a weekly basis to the bank & on a monthly basis between the bank and salesforce.
• To liaise directly with government bodies on quarterly claims.
• To prepare periodic updated annual re-forecast on management fees working with CEO/Directors.
• To complete quarterly reconciliations and ensure accurate repayment is transacted from Grant Funding.
• To produce monthly management reporting
• To work closely with the leadership Team to support any contract extension work or benefit realisation work allocated
• Previous experience working with government funding bodies will be highly beneficial
• Previous experience of using Xero will be beneficial

Full/Part-time (minimum 30 hours per week), 52 weeks per year

Location: Central Services Office in Marlow

This is a newly created role which is being introduced to support the centralisation and future growth of the Trust. This hands-on role will be responsible for preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring all transactions and month-end processes are carried out, preparation of balance sheet, capital projects and fixed assets reconciliations , line management of finance officers and assistants, as well as oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable and VAT returns. You will be involved in cash flow forecasting, treasury/banking processes, budgeting/forecasting process, monthly reporting, variance analysis and more. You will support the CFO and the Business Manager, and work closely with all schools’ leadership teams and Headteachers. 

The successful candidate will have previous financial experience and recognised accounting qualification, ideally in a school environment, and will be flexible and able to demonstrate an ability to adapt to a changing environment. You will be professional in your approach to all aspects of the role, extremely well organised, a team player and competent with accounting and procurement software, MsOffice and Google Suites.

Experience of planning, analysis and understanding monitoring and evaluation is also essential for this role. What You Will Be Doing:

As the CEO of MYH, you will lead the charity’s growth, ensuring its services remain innovative, impactful, and culturally relevant. You will oversee the strategic direction, ensuring the successful implementation of MYH’s vision and long term strategy. You will work closely with the Executive Team and Board of Trustees to maintain financial health, develop sustainable income strategies, and drive meaningful impact for young Muslims. Your leadership will ensure the continuous development of our services, foster key partnerships, and maintain a high level of stakeholder engagement. Additionally, you will champion safeguarding practices, cultural competency, and monitoring the charity’s impact, shaping the future of MYH as a leader in Muslim mental health.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a compassionate, experienced leader with a strong understanding of the challenges young Muslims face today. You should have a proven track record in senior leadership, managing strategic and operational success. Strong financial skills and a commitment to cultural competency are essential. We seek a leader who inspires a high-performing team, engages with diverse stakeholders, and upholds MYH’s values of empathy, inclusivity, and faith sensitivity. A passion for youth mental health, experience with the Muslim community, and a knowledge of safeguarding and charity governance are highly desirable.

We have an exciting opening for someone to join our senior leadership team leading our campaigning work. We need a strategic expert who understands politics, campaigning and how to get the best out of campaigning organisations. The Campaigns Director must maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's financial position, proactively managing budgets and implementing necessary adjustments to ensure organisational health and sustainability.

The Campaigns Director leads the Campaigns department, crafting our plans and supporting the team to execute powerful, people-powered campaigns that shape the country to be fair, respectful and sustainable. They oversee campaign strategy development, as well as teams that execute our plans, run our social media campaigns, and our public/media affairs work, all while ensuring alignment with organisational goals and political positioning.

The Campaigns Director must maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's financial position, proactively managing budgets and implementing necessary adjustments to ensure organisational health and sustainability. They play a critical role in steering the organisation's narrative, tracking campaign progress, and working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to align campaign objectives and work in progress with other organisational insights and initiatives.

Your background and experience

We are looking for someone who understands 38 Degrees, our model and our organisational culture already, and our fierce determination to change our country - campaigning to do so without fear or favour whoever is in power. You will have worked at, or with, a similar organisation to us, where our supporters are our purpose, and you’ll be ready to engage in discussions about campaigning tactics and way of working from day one.

Our power is the passion, and number, of our supporters. You will have insight and experience on how an organisation like ours should respond to a new environment - and capitalise on the changed landscape. 

You will understand not just the purpose and strategies of organisations like ours, you’ll know that we can only succeed if we have the right people, structure and culture. You’ll have experience of working in productive and positive environments, and you’ll have insight into how teams can be set up for success in a campaigning space.

You’ll be adept and experienced at project management, understand the pressures the team face working in a fast paced reactive environment and be able to get the best of people in this context to help deliver on longer term, strategic goals.

And most of all, you will be a positive, practical person who can work with others, bringing them with you, to solve problems in a collaborative way.

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity dedicated to funding vital research to help sick babies and children. Our work is now needed more than ever. To help achieve this, we are seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join the Finance Team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to work with our Finance Manager to provide support to the financial management of the charity. You will be responsible for the accurate input and processing of financial ledger transactions onto the accounting system, ensuring that all deadlines are met and with a high level of attention to detail. You will work closely with other departments in the charity and will provide first class support. Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, a positive attitude, great IT skills and strong customer service skills. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
