About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Advocate to join our team covering Bradford. Your role will require you to travel to locations such as clients’ homes, hospitals, care homes and within community settings across the area to meet with clients and professionals. You will be home based for administration; therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential.
About you
Desirably you will have some experience of working in advocacy, or providing welfare, supporting, or caring for Adults or young people who have support needs, ideally for those with a variety of communication needs, mental ill health, physical health issues, or barriers to accessing education and support.
You should have worked or volunteered in health, social care, welfare, support services, education or young person’s services, or advice and guidance.

About the role
Breast Cancer Now are excited to recruit the new role of fundraising compliance officer to support its growing fundraising ambitions. As our fundraising compliance officer, you will play an essential role in ensuring our fundraising and marketing activities meet the highest standards in an ever-changing regulatory landscape, to mitigate potential risks for the charity and to maintain the trust of our supporters.

About you

Prior knowledge some data protection legislation and fundraising regulations would also be beneficial, such as the data protection act, fundraising code of practice, CAP code, gambling commission code, and HMRC gift aid rules. You will also be self-motivated and have an eagerness to learn and develop in line with the ever-changing regulatory landscape and the charities needs and goals.
Ideal attributes of a candidate include an analytical mind, with the ability to review information, ask questions and make informed decisions to support the charity to meet its objectives, whilst also mitigating unnecessary risk.
You will be an approachable, confident and clear communicator, that can adapt your communication stye to a verity of audiences in order to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner, that is both educational and builds productive relationships with colleagues.

We are seeking a Sex Worker Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (SWISVA) to provide appropriate emotional and practical 1-to-1 support to people involved in sex work, who often experience stigma and face barriers to accessing services. Working within a specialist sexual violence approach, you will be enabling people to access support and navigate services, including those directly related to sexual violence. You will support them to navigate criminal justice processes if they wish to do so. You will be working in partnership with other agencies and making appropriate referrals for people to access other services to support their wider needs. You will play a key role in advocating for improved responses to sexual violence, including pathways through the criminal justice processes.
The post is part of a unique partnership between National Ugly Mugs, Basis Yorkshire and POW (Nottingham) to ensure more specialist support for sex workers who have experienced sexual violence, to develop good practice guidelines, develop and share learning, and to influence change in provisions for sex workers. Each organisation will be employing a SWISVA; the program will be led by a Program Coordinator who will be based with Basis Yorkshire, and who will lead on influencing of policy and sharing of learning to improve outcomes for sex workers who have experienced sexual violence
The main role responsibilities (further outlined in the job description) are:

Oversee a caseload of people who have experienced sexual violence

Ensure that sex workers have access to specialist sexual violence services, including access to the SARC and support throughout the criminal justice process

We are looking for a Senior Learning and Research Analyst to join our International Programmes and Research Team. Supported by our Learning and Impact Manager and working alongside our Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst and team of researchers, you will be responsible for consolidating and managing a central database and knowledge system that will underpin Peace Direct’s learning loop with specific emphasis on locally-led peacebuilding initiatives in Afghanistan, eastern DRC, Mali and Sudan.
This work is integral to our decolonised ways of working and will form an important part of our multi-year ‘Local First: Transforming the Peacebuilding System’ programme funded by the Dutch MfA.
This is a role for someone with a passion for peacebuilding and local leadership and a strong commitment to shifting power in the international system. You will have excellent analytical skills with experience of developing research, information or MEL systems in the international development sector.
Working in partnership with peacebuilders in francophone countries means the ability to work in French (proficiency level B2 or above) is a must and as such will be tested in interview. Added to this is the requirement for experience of processing qualitative and quantitative data using various approaches, including working with local knowledge systems, which will be highly valuable in this role.

As part of DOTWs Services team, you will support the service by proactively promoting DOTW’s service at individual accommodation sites, providing social assessments for residents and their dependents, escalating health issues of any immediate concern, and support responses to urgent health and/or safeguarding concerns. As part of a culture of best practice, you will ensure adherence to DotW policies and will provide support resolving complex cases, deploying your demonstrative experience delivering person-centred, compassionate care and/or advice and support to people seeking asylum or from other excluded communities.

The role
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for working with Cruse in partnership with the Southern Gas Network (SGN) to support people experiencing a bereavement, with help and information to alleviate fuel poverty, enabling them to maintain a safe and warm home.
The Project Coordinator will work collaboratively across Cruse with our communications team, finance team, data team and service teams, to help extend the reach of these valuable services to bereaved people. About the role
You will:
- Provide specialist advocacy support to vulnerable children and young people through our Voices in Action program.
- Provide advocacy support to young people ensuring their wishes and feelings are listened to in decisions being made about their lives and helping them avoid crisis points and improve life chances.
- Provide support primarily, but not exclusively, around issues leading to school exclusion. Other advocacy support will include working with young people who are in crisis and/or experiencing crisis.

About The Role As the Time to Shine (T2S) leader you will make a direct contribution to two key areas of work: our intergenerational leadership programmes and our approaches to capturing and recording our social impact measurements. In order to meet the criteria for the T2S programme we are seeking candidates who are unemployed or underemployed. This role is designed to be an entry level role and therefore we recognise that candidates may have limited work experience but can have a wealth of experience from other activities and we would love to hear about how those skills can transfer to this role.
