Following a successful 12-year tenure by the current Chief Executive Officer, South Yorkshire Eating Disorders Association (SYEDA) is seeking a new leader to guide the organisation into its next exciting chapter.
Rooted in lived experience and developed over three decades, SYEDA is a leading regional charity offering support to individuals affected by eating disorders, along with their carers and the professionals who support them. The organisation has recently secured a major five-year contract, along with additional grant funding, to expand both its clinical services and early intervention work, including innovative programmes in schools and community settings.

As CEO, you will:
- Lead SYEDA’s strategy and vision, working closely with a committed Board and team
- Oversee the delivery of clinical and preventative services, ensuring high standards of care, access and innovation
- Support and develop the staff team (~20 people), embedding a culture of inclusion, learning, and wellbeing
- Drive income generation and ensure financial sustainability
- Represent SYEDA regionally and nationally.
About you:
You’re an experienced senior leader with proven experience in people management, strategy, and operational delivery. You understand the importance of good governance and inclusive leadership. Ideally, you’ve worked in or alongside the NHS or charity sector, and you bring passion for health/social care, EDI, and recovery.

Salford CVS is seeking to appoint to the position of Director of Operations.
The Director of Operations will have wide-ranging responsibilities for the development, implementation and performance of all operational delivery projects and programmes of work. This is a senior role within our well-established charity, and we will expect you to play a proactive and productive role as a member of the organisation’s small Senior Management Team.
You will lead, direct and manage all operational delivery projects and programmes across the organisation. Responsible for all aspects of operational management, you will ensure the high-quality delivery of programmes in line with contract and funder requirements. You will personally line manage all operational Programme Managers, ensuring that service/programme operational plans (including KPIs) and individual staff work plans are in place and being adhered to and delivered against.
We’re looking for someone who is a team player and can take direction from their CEO; someone who is solutions-focused and able to effectively manage a range of people and services. You will be a person who has a keen eye for detail and can see the bigger picture, who works hard but likes a laugh, and who believes in our values and purpose.

We are seeking a personable, highly organised administrator to assist our HR Manager with recruitment, professional development, payroll preparation and other HR tasks; and to assist the COO with administration for the Board of Trustees and occasional PA duties.
Our successful candidate will bring proven administrative/clerical experience, ideally gained in a cultural or charitable environment, plus either some experience of HR or an enthusiasm to learn HR practice. Exceptional organisational and communication skills, along with a ‘can do’ attitude and a high level of attention to detail are essential for this role. Experience of minute-taking would be beneficial, as well as a GCSE in maths, plus absolute discretion and good humour.
