Summary of the role:
The Supporter Relations Engagement Team is involved in the planning and development of programmes and projects that puts supporter engagement at the heart of everything do we do. They play a pivotal role in making Muslim Aid more data and insight driven in the way we fundraise and communicate with supporters. The team’s aim is to increase the depth and value of supporter relationships whilst also encouraging repeat giving and overall supporter retention through targeted engagement strategies.
Working within the Supporter Relations Engagement Team, you will develop a supporter centric approach to planning effective multi-channel, multi-product supporter journeys to grow loyalty, engagement, and income. We are looking for someone with an audience and data insight driven approach to identify moments that matter and key touch points to improve the supporter experience. By doing this, you will ensure that each touchpoint across the supporter experience is engaging, effective and reflects Muslim Aids brand and values.
As a confident communicator you will help develop a culture based on understanding and interpreting supporter behaviours and motivations. Using this information, you will lead on mapping journeys and engagements across communications, campaigns and the fundraising portfolio to maximise a supporter’s lifetime value.
About the Role:
- Create new innovative supporter journeys to increase engagement, loyalty and improve income generation.
- Deliver improved supporter journeys and care strategies using insights, evidence and feedback.
- Deliver exemplary Supporter care and stewardship that builds loyal and committed supporters through high quality personalised engagement.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant supporter/customer care skills obtained from the commercial or charity sectors.
- Proven engagement developing internal relationships across a complex organisation – working with internal clients to develop and adapt briefs to improve supporter engagement.
- Experience of working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Experience of developing innovative and creative engagement programs for supporters/donors.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with people at various levels.

Fight for Peace is a sport for development charity based in Newham, London. At its core, it is a boxing and martial arts academy with a whole range of in-house youth support services under one roof. Not only Fight for Peace works directly with young people, it also trains and supports grassroots sports clubs in adopting a sports-for-development approach to their sport of physical activity across the UK.
In April 2022, Fight for Peace became one of 120 Sport England Systems Partners. The aim is to deliver system-wide change against Sport England’s 10-year strategy, “Uniting the Movement”, to level up access to sport and physical activity across the country. BGCI is seeking to appoint a Global Conservation Consortia (GCC) Manager who will co-ordinate and support delivery of the consortia activities (see below). This will include the establishment, consolidation and development of global conservation consortia, providing support and guidance to facilitate practical implementation of international plant conservation across the BGCI network. Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) is a membership organisation and a global network for plant conservation located in Kew, United Kingdom with regional, bureaux in China, Kenya, Singapore, and the USA. Our membership comprises over 900 botanical institutions working in plant conservation - botanic gardens, arboreta, NGOs, restoration organisations, government, and universities - in over 120 countries all around the world. We work with this extensive network of members, and the wider conservation community, to use our collective knowledge and hands on expertise to reverse the threat of extinction facing plants and to secure plant diversity for the well-being of people and the planet.
BGCI coordinates efforts to enhance regional networking and scale up plant conservation by facilitating, coordinating, and supporting the consolidation and functioning of botanic garden networks. One of our technical networks is the Global Conservation Consortia (GCC) which mobilise a coordinated network of institutions and experts to collaboratively develop and implement comprehensive conservation strategies for priority threatened plant groups. BGCI currently coordinates a suite of GCCs including Rhododendron, Magnolia, Cycads, Dipterocarps etc., which catalyse groups of institutions and experts to implement conservation action on the ground. Primary objectives include coordinated in situ and ex situ conservation efforts, recording and dissemination of species recovery knowledge.
Person Specification
BGCI is seeking to appoint a person with outstanding project management, conservation, communication and networking skills. Candidates for this post will have a proven track record working for a conservation or scientific organisation, preferably in plant conservation. Partnership Relationship Lead
We are looking for an exceptional Partnership Relationship Lead, who will have a pivotal role in implementing World Vision UK's Institutional Funding strategy by fostering strong relationships with designated Regional and National Offices.

About the role
We are seeking to recruit a Programmes, Partnerships & Advocacy Officer to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This role involves supporting Embrace’s Programme, Partnerships and Advocacy team to manage relationships with a portfolio of local partner organisations, churches, and stakeholders to bring hope and lasting change to some of the poorest and most marginalised people living in the Middle East. Walking and working with them as they deliver high-impact programmes to benefit communities in need of assistance supporting them in their work; encouraging and advocating for local Christian organisations on issues of justice and inclusion in the Middle East.
Main responsibilities include:
- Providing programme support to Embrace’s Programme Managers (PMs) with a particular focus on supporting the PM responsible for managing Embrace’s partner and programme portfolio for Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories (IoPt).
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of Embrace’s advocacy campaigns.
- Coordinating the supply and transfer of information from partners to communication and fundraising colleagues.
- Providing admin and data support for the whole team.
- Supporting the Charity in every way possible to fulfil its vision and charitable aims.
This role is a great opportunity for someone keen to develop their transferable skills and increase their international development and programmatic interest and experience, whilst contributing in a supporting role to Embrace’s Programme, Partnerships and Advocacy team.
To be successful in this role, candidates will:
- Understand the work of Embrace the Middle East and share the Charity’s vision and mission.
- Bring experience and/or interest of grant management – including Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning.
- Have excellent knowledge/experience of using Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Have excellent organisational and administrative skill, and experience of working in a team support role.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Be self-motivated and able to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
- Be flexible in a multi-task environment and keen to offer a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Have an awareness of the context, dynamics, and challenges of working in the Middle East.
- Be flexible to work remotely and in an office environment as required.
- Have a strong theological understanding with the ability to refer to scripture and be comfortable to pray with Partners and colleagues.

We are recruiting a Head of Research, Impact and Evaluation who will be responsible for coordinating and delivering Open for Business’ research on the economic and business case for LGBTQ+ inclusion, and developing and managing our impact and evaluation measurement systems.
The person will work with our Research Advisory Board, regional Programme Advisory Boards, and Heads of Regions to plan research cycles, develop research terms of reference, conduct primary data collection and secondary data review, perform data analysis, and prepare reports, briefings and other information products that present the key research findings to target audiences.
This person will also be responsible for making our internal impact and evaluation measurement systems track the impact of Open for Business’ programmes and allow us to work more effectively and efficiently.
The role will report to and work closely with the Director of Global Programmes to ensure that both new research cycles and impact measurement activities are aligned to Open for Business’ global programmes strategy. This role may need to travel internationally occasionally.
