Providing residential parenting assessments in cases where there are concerns about a parent’s capacity to keep a child safe. Trevi’s ambition is that whatever the outcome of the parenting assessment, the experience of the family will be one of transparent working, respectful practice and collaboration.
We are looking for an experienced and confident social worker to join the team across Trevi. You will be working with complex families who have suffered trauma and will be responsible for undertaking a parenting assessment within the timescales directed by the court / local authority.
This will include working directly with families, completing risk assessments, placement plans, providing Court evidence, providing educational activities and feedback to support the child's development and empower the parents to create change that is ‘safe enough parenting'.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience of working within statutory child protection services and is confident operating within the family court arena. You will be focused upon outcomes for children, but able to work compassionately with parents too, many of whom many be fearful and distrustful of professionals.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional individual to join our team of six Strategic Partnership Advisors across England. In this role, you will support key partners, including Active Partnerships, National Governing Bodies of Sport, local authorities, and leisure providers to become more effective in their role of enabling more disabled people to be active.
You will possess a strong understanding of the sport and activity sector, including its operations, and be able to advocate for improvements that help more disabled people become active. Additionally, you will be aware of the broader systems and barriers that disabled people encounter in sports and activities, as well as organisations such as disabled people’s user-led organisations and various charities, to build relationships and foster effective cross-sector partnerships.
We are looking for an individual with experience of working strategically at a place based and/or locality level within the South West region. Someone who can positively influence local developments, systems and investments to tackle the inequalities disabled people face in sport and activity through inclusive practice.
The successful candidate will work remotely from home and be based in the South West region. This role will involve travel across the region and occasional travel to our Loughborough and Manchester offices.
This role is full-time (36 hours) and permanent.
We offer 26.5 days of annual leave, including birthday leave, plus bank holidays. Job Title: Service Manager
Location: Derby
Salary: £39,444 per annum
Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week with a requirement to particiapte in the out of hours on-call on a rota basis
We are recruiting for a Service Manager who is passionate about supporting survivors who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes. This is a multifaceted, fast paced, and exciting role where you will join our team in Derby to lead on the delivery and development of high-quality refuge and outreach services for survivors of domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes.
The post holder will provide line management and high-quality support to the direct reports in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures. This will include providing supervision on complex and high-risk cases, overseeing operational emergencies, and ensuring high standards of casework. The Service Manager will lead on the delivery of the multiagency aspect of work, working jointly with the Refuge teams and wider stakeholders to deliver best services to the survivors.
Candidates must have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to vulnerable people, managing, and motivating staff, managing casework as well as working within multiagency setting. In addition, you must have an excellent knowledge of domestic abuse and other gender-based violence and its impact on survivors. You will have knowledge of relevant Criminal and Civil law legislation, as well as Housing and Health and Safety legislation.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota. Please note that this is an on-site role.
