Role outline and purpose
This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of our financial inclusion programmes across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, (428 food banks, running over 1300 centres), building strong partnerships and alliances to achieve our vision of a UK without the need for food banks.
Leading on the development and delivery of our programme and influencing work on a range of issues including income maximisation, welfare rights, social security, debt and financial inclusion, capturing evidence to demonstrate the need for long-term solutions to prioritise people facing destitution and deliver real change for people in crisis.
Role responsibilities
· Proactive and effective contribution to the Senior Leadership Team towards the achievement of our overall organisational strategy, with direct responsibility for leading on the second key objective of our Changing Communities theme.
· Development and delivery of an innovative income maximisation helpline across England and Wales, in collaboration with the Citizens Advice England & Wales, along with other key organisations in the anti-poverty sector, offering immediate telephone advice and support to people facing crisis through c130 FTE trained specialist advice workers.
· Development and delivery of income maximisation programmes in NI and Scotland to support people in crisis to access advice and holistic support
· Lead and develop a high-performing team of c25 in order to support every food bank to develop and execute a strategic plan in each of their communities, that seeks to improve the local referral pathways, putting advice at the front end of the journey for people in crisis, to include the delivery of a strategic grant programme of c. £15 million to embed financial inclusion initiatives.
· Ensure that all financial inclusion service provision is underpinned by sustained and meaningful participation from people with lived experience, ensuring the journey of the person in crisis is continuously improved through utilising data and sector learning on best practice for effective service delivery across channels, considering barriers, gaps and referral pathways
· Establish specialist data and insight analysis function, capturing return on investment, performance and impact of national and local services and partnerships, and providing clear and actionable insights to drive informed decision making to deliver improved experience and outcomes for people in crisis.
Person Specification
Technical skills and minimum knowledge:
· Demonstrable, senior level experience of leading delivery programmes nationally and locally, and of creating step-change growth in service reach and impact.
· Complex project or programme management, including through cross-functional management teams to drive change.
· Ability to establish credibility quickly with a range of stakeholders, with the influencing and clear communications skills to compellingly advocate to staff, and external stakeholders.

We are looking for a part time Supporter Data Officer for a wonderful local hospice, to support the delivery of the Hospice's supporter data and income operations strategy with a focus on data selections and insight.
This role is part time 22.5 hours per week - no set working pattern for these as long as worked in the usual Mon-Fri, 9-5 working week.
With hybrid working their policy is a max of 1 days per week of discretionary home working, this would be on a pro rota basis for team members who work fewer than 5 days in the office, so they could consider flexibility in line with this, also bearing in mind business need and the needs of the team on any given week.

An exciting position has arisen for a Challenge Events Fundraiser to work for a leading charity based in South East London. This is a permanent role within the hospice’s busy Fundraising team, responsible for planning and executing a variety of challenge events to support the hospice’s vital work in the local community.

The Role
The Supporter Journey Team is responsible for delivering world-class behavioural journeys for our charity partners.

We’re looking for someone with proven experience of liaising at a senior level, working across teams. You’ll have a track record of writing documents for senior stakeholders in various formats. You will be asked to prepare board committee minutes and maintain accurate records for compliance and good governance.
The ideal candidate will be organised and methodical, with the ability to grasp detail and complexity, and will be interested in developing their professional skills in charity governance.
About the role
As a core member of the Governance team, you’ll take the lead on governance projects and supporting activities, reporting to the Company Secretary. You’ll be involved in the full process which enables the board of trustees to make strategic decisions on behalf of the charity’s members and people affected by Parkinson’s.
As a busy Governance Team, we work collaboratively and support each other throughout the year, and especially at peak periods of the governance cycle.

- Prepare and attend meetings, take minutes and act as the governance team lead when required
- Co-ordinate the production of meeting packs for board and committee meetings

We are seeking a motivated and highly organised national Quality Manager to join our expanding team. This is a new role that will lead on the quality assurance of IPS Grow delivery, responsible for implementing a robust quality management system and measuring our work against agreed standards. This includes quality assuring resources for the IPS Grow team and the IPS community, streamlining internal processes, and ensuring consistency of IPS Grow delivery across regions.

The Team
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expanison of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by Social Finance in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
Responsibilities
1. Oversee internal and external quality across IPS Grow delivery

This will be our first Head of Grants and Programme role and will provide the right candidate with a rare opportunity to implement and oversee the delivery of the Charity’s new £2.5 million dedicated grant programmes from pre to post award.
Covering four programmes (Patient Care, Research & Development, Clinical Innovation and Staff Education & Improvement), the post holder will be responsible for managing circa £2.5M of expenditure each year, ensuring they deliver impact for patients, staff and donors.
This role will be key, as we launch our ambitious new strategy to grow our reach and impact, and this opportunity offers the right candidate the chance to implement new ways of working as part of the management team and leading a committed team.
This role would also oversee the programmes delivered by the Charity, offering the opportunity to grow these areas of work and directly influence the impact on patients and difference we make.

Main Responsibilities:
Grant Management & Compliance

Oversee the delivery of the charity’s dedicated grant programmes from pre to post award: Patient Care, Research & Development, Clinical Innovation and Staff Education & Improvement. Design in Mental Health Network is a registered charity, which aims to improve mental health outcomes by promoting knowledge exchange, co-production involving the voice of people with Lived Experience and challenging the status quo of mental health design.
We are a network of experts whose perspectives, thoughts, insights, opinions are grounded in research, professional qualification and/or lived experience. The collective includes a wide range of stakeholders involved in planning for, designing, building, managing and using spaces that impact on our mental health.
We believe the better the design brief is in determining and matching the evidenced needs of all users, the better the goal of improving the actual design of settings to support better mental health care and patient outcomes will be.
Good design facilitates human connection (therapeutic/supportive relationships) and to this end we advocate to engage and influence people with decision making capabilities and/or budget control, to understand how to use existing resources more effectively in leading to better mental health outcomes.
We want to actively challenge the status quo, using research and our design skills to reimagine radical new ways of approaching mental health care that improve the outcomes for patients and make these spaces better places to work for the staff on the front line. We’ll always do this from the view of what is best for the person receiving care, using the built environment as a platform for lasting stabilisation or recovery from mental ill health.
