Location: Home-based, with a minimum of every other week travel into our London Office (Islington)

About the role:

Respect is looking to expand our Operations team with this new Operations Officer role. We’re looking for someone with demonstrable experience in scheduling meetings, HR administration, and coordinating internal and external correspondence with a variety of stakeholders. This peer support project is delivered in partnership with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust, to support Carers of people with mental health conditions.  This project will work to support Carers through one-to-one support, outreach, training and peer support groups.

About The Role:

Using your lived experience of caring for someone with a mental health condition, and a strengths-based approach, you will support mental health Carers in their caring role.  You will provide person centred one-to-one- support, information, signposting, and advocacy, develop, and facilitate peer support groups in response to identified need and deliver training and outreach sessions at different locations across the borough. You will work in partnership with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLStG), to ensure Carers are identified and routinely referred into the service. You will have responsibility for line managing the Mental Health Carers Peer Support Worker.

Key Requirements Include:

- Lived experience of Caring for someone with a mental health condition

- Experience of direct work with clients, providing information, advocacy and 1:1 support, including assessing  need.

- Experience of / ability to develop and facilitate peer support groups and training.

Engagement Officer

We’re looking for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the North West Locality Impact team. 

Engagement Officers support the North West work with colleagues across the locality, with stroke communities and health care systems and in supporting people affected by stroke to provide the voice of lived experience. 

Position: S11264 Engagement Officer (two posts)

Location: Home-based, North West England. Frequent travel will be required as part of this role (includes team meetings and other external work related meetings)

 Job Description 

 Job purpose 

You will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of the organisation. Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure all financial systems are implemented effectively while ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards. In addition, you will assist the Finance Manager in maintaining a functional and safe office environment in accordance with employment and health and safety laws.

 Financial:

 Accounts Payable

• Manage the day-to-day accounts payable activity to support the organisation's short-term obligations owed to its creditors or suppliers, including but not limited to: 
• Utilise cloud-based software to manage supplier invoice activity.
• Dealing with external creditor and supplier queries. 
• Assisting the Finance Manager with supplier contract renewals.
• Manage and reconcile expense activity across all business cards utilising cloud-based software where appropriate. 
• Resolve accounting discrepancies.

Account Receivable

• Manage the day-to-day accounts receivable activity between the organisation and its clients, customers, and donors, including but not limited to: 
• Process all incoming post and utilise the CRM database to record any fundraising income.

The Production Officer will play a crucial role in managing workflow into the Creative, Digital and Comms teams, and coordinating creative projects.

They will be the ultimate super user of our production management tool, Hive. They will set up projects on the system, ensure the smooth running of the system day-to-day, and help trouble shoot any issues that arise. The role will also help ensure that users internally are trained and confident in using the platform.

The Production Officer will also coordinate creative projects, to ensure they are delivered smoothly and on time, as well as supporting with the management of our content and photography library.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Support with the day-to-day management of the production tool, Hive. This will include setting up projects, ensuring teams are assigned, keeping the platform up-to-date, and carrying out other administrative tasks crucial for the smooth running of Hive.

· Liaise with Hive to troubleshoot any issues and stay up to date with new features on the platform.

· Be a Hive super champion across the organisation, delivering Hive inductions for new starters.

About the Role

Llanelli Foodbank is seeking a Fundraising Officer—a passionate and motivated individual who can inspire local businesses, community groups, and individuals to contribute to the fight against food insecurity. Every pound raised means another meal on the table for a family in need, and this role is pivotal in securing the vital funding required to sustain and expand our services.

As our Fundraising Officer, you will:

• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with local businesses, donors, and sponsors.

• Develop creative fundraising campaigns that increase public donations by at least 50% within a year.

• Organise community initiatives and events that not only raise funds but also spread awareness of food poverty in Llanelli.

• Identify and apply for relevant grants and funding opportunities to support and grow the Foodbank’s impact.

• Track and report on fundraising efforts, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.

This is a dynamic role that combines remote working with hands-on community engagement. Whether you’re networking with potential donors, running a fundraising event, or securing crucial grant funding, your efforts will directly contribute to the long-term fight against poverty in Llanelli.

We seek a highly-skilled social care professional to join the senior team of our leading local charity, who will provide high-quality support to family carers of adults with a learning disability and/or autism in the London Borough of Merton.

Could this be you?

You will conduct Carers Assessments in which you identify the needs of carers to determine the support they require, which may include financial support, respite care for the person they care for, and practical assistance.  You will form Support Plans with carers which show the ways in which support will be provided to improve their health and wellbeing, and help them in their caring role, and you will assist carers to access appropriate support.  Your periodic reviews with carers will monitor the effectiveness of Support Plans to ensure carers continue to receive the help they need. 

You will work closely with colleagues, the charity’s partners and other organisations to coordinate care and support for carers, facilitating introductions with other care providers and ensuring carers receive information to help them in their caring role.  Key to your work is ensuring services ‘join-up’ so that coordinated, highly professional support is provided to carers.

You will maintain a record of your work by using our databases which you will use to produce quarterly reports and case studies demonstrating the impact of your work.

This role is an important feature of the charity’s strategic offer for family carers.  You will join our senior team dedicated to providing the highest quality care, and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the wider work of the charity such as by attending our frequent events, workshops and social events for carers.

This role is a hybrid position - duties can be undertaken from home, from our offices in Morden, and by conducting home-visits with carers by appointment.

Although not essential, we encourage applications from people with lived experience of learning disability and autism, such as from parents and carers, and we offer flexible working arrangements.

You will receive our mandatory training in safeguarding, health & safety, confidentiality, equal opportunities & diversity and mental health awareness, plus more technical training including risk assessment, first aid and using IT databases.
