As UK Sepsis Trust’s Corporate Engagement Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our fundraising efforts by cultivating and managing relationships with corporate partners. Working closely with the Head of Partnerships, Fundraising and Events colleagues, your primary responsibility will be to secure financial support from businesses and other organisations through various income-generating initiatives and collaborations.

Key Responsibilities
Corporate Partnership Development
· Identify and research potential corporate partners aligned with the mission and values of the charity.
· Develop and implement plans to cultivate relationships with new and existing corporate decision-makers.
· Present compelling proposals and tailored fundraising opportunities to corporate prospects.
Fundraising Initiatives
· Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events tailored to corporate donors.

Donor Stewardship

Relationship Management
· Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with corporate partners, serving as the primary point of contact for fundraising-related inquiries.

Experience/ qualifications
· At least 2 years’ experience in corporate fundraising or business development, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
· Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage corporate stakeholders at all levels.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the charity's mission and impact effectively.
· Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.
· Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.

Purpose of the role:
The Domestic Abuse (DA) and Sexual Safety Coordinator will be pivotal in fostering a coordinated, supportive, and safe environment across Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (ICB). This role is focused on addressing domestic abuse and sexual safety through the development of essential resources, effective governance, and a collaborative community of practice. The post holder will be responsible for creating a comprehensive directory of third-sector services, ensuring compliance with risk management standards, supporting policy development, and facilitating a network for shared learning and mutual support among employees. This role will contribute to a cohesive approach in safeguarding and providing holistic support across the region.

- Mapping and Directory Creation:
- Identify and map third-sector services within Cheshire and Merseyside related to domestic abuse and sexual safety.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Directory of Services to provide staff with a clear resource for referrals and support.
Governance and Risk Management:
- Oversee governance processes related to domestic abuse and sexual safety, ensuring adherence to best practices and robust risk management.
- Embed evidence-based practice in DA and sexual safety policies and procedures, integrating these practices within the organisational framework.
Policy Development Support:
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive DA and sexual safety policy aligned with NHS standards and local requirements.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to draft, review, and implement policies.
Community of Practice Coordination:
- Establish and lead a community of practice to connect employees involved in DA and sexual safety work.
- Facilitate regular meetings, sharing sessions, and training to enhance knowledge, skills, and collaboration amongst employees.
- Develop methods to capture insights and learning from the community to inform future policy and practice.
About You – Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of domestic abuse and sexual safety concerns, particularly within healthcare settings.

- Ability to build partnerships and coordinate networks across multidisciplinary teams.

About the role
One of the core areas of CAST’s work is building the capacity of the social sector to respond to the rapid scale advances in AI. The evidence from the Charity Digital Skills Report; Joseph Rowntree's Grassroots and Nonprofits research and our own AI survey shows that charities are unlikely to benefit from - or respond to the challenges of - AI without intentional support and capacity building. To support charities’ (critical) adoption of AI we need to invest in supporting sector-experiments that create demonstrable impact (acting as showcases), working alongside the peer groups, charities and working groups to help move conversations into practical action.
To achieve that, we are looking to recruit a Head of Technical AI Experiments to focus on driving forward this work in a number of different ways:
- Providing direct support to organisations and specific technical advice;
- Building a range of experiments and tools alongside the sector;
- Supporting the design and development of specific programmes, training and interventions that will help shift the sector on AI
Whilst there is a lot of work underway and in the pipeline on AI this role will be expected to shape this work based on their deep experience and knowledge of AI, and support the wider team at CAST to upskill in this area.

Purpose of the role:
This role involves working alongside the Regional Lead to review, analyse, and evidence the work done in establishing a coordinated, supportive, and safe environment across Cheshire and Merseyside ICB. You will support the development of an effective evaluation framework that captures the impact of efforts to address domestic abuse and sexual safety issues.
Your work will help build a solid foundation for understanding the progress made in creating safer environments and ensuring that the initiatives are thoroughly documented. Collaboration with key stakeholders will be essential, as you help shape strategies to continue improving safety and support for affected individuals across the region.
Key Duties – What you will be doing:

- Work with the Health Team to create a theory of change for the Health Domestic Abuse (DA) and Sexual Violence (SV) response.
- Establish an evaluation framework, including the creation of monitoring tools and outcome measures.
- Engage with a wide range of health partners to ensure data is collected in a timely manner, and communicate timeframes and deadlines effectively.
- Collect, collate, analyse, and clean monitoring data, ensuring the data is presented clearly and concisely.
- Prepare and create reports based on monitoring data findings, ensuring distribution to relevant contacts.
- Develop and deliver presentations, workshops, and webinars related to evaluation frameworks and outcomes.
- Project manage work using project management tools to develop project plans and deliverables, monitor progress, and report on outcomes and resource needs. Coordinate input and support from project partners.
About You – Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of domestic abuse and sexual safety concerns, particularly within healthcare settings.
- Experience of health systems, structures, and governance.

About the Primary Science Teaching Trust (PSTT)
PSTT is a registered charity with a clear vision – we want to see excellent teaching of science in every primary classroom in the UK. We believe it is vital that children are engaged and inspired by science from an early age. We want to draw on their natural curiosity to help them explore, understand and ask questions about the world around them.
We’ve built a Primary Science Teacher College of over 200 outstanding teachers; each helping to shape and influence science teaching across the UK. We produce great resources that improve how science is taught and planned. We organise engaging professional learning events for teachers, and work with partner organisations to further enhance how science is taught. Our 2023-28 strategy is building on these strengths to reach more teachers across a more diverse range of schools.
We’re dedicating our most intensive efforts to areas of the UK requiring most development in primary science. Our Priority Areas initiative is being piloted in 30 schools, and in September 2025 we plan to launch this programme in a further 30 schools. Our Regional Mentors have worked with more than 3,000 schools across England, with exceptionally positive feedback.
Job summary
There are two parts to the Primary Science Mentor role. The majority of the role will focus on strengthening primary science teaching and leadership by leading our second Priority Areas initiative. Through their knowledge of and passion for primary science education, the successful candidate will inspire transformational change in schools taking part in this project. They will build close working relationships with participating schools and create a vibrant and exciting learning community based on mutual support and the sharing of expertise.
The remaining hours in the role will be as a Regional Mentor: joining PSTT’s growing team of primary science experts who provide bespoke support directly to individual schools, multi-academy trusts and other school groupings and organisations. This includes developing and delivering training in a variety of contexts, including online; working individually with Science Leaders; being a leading voice, expert and advocate for primary science (both regionally and nationally); and creating partnerships with other organisations that support science within the region.
A crucial part of the role is to ensure collection of appropriate data for both Priority Areas and Regional Mentor activities, so that we can evaluate our work against intended outcomes.
