Job description

The Co-production Caseworker role will support people experiencing homelessness to develop various life skills, self confidence and social inclusion to sustain tenancies and live happy, healthy and independent lives.

They will also be working on the development of our client involvement and coproduction opportunities through the delivery of a range of options including facilitating the Client Forum, workshops and providing other avenues to empower clients to be involved in the delivery of services and their own support.

They will work closely with the wider Recovery team to help facilitate a calendar of activities at SIFA Fireside, and support clients with overcoming barriers to sustainable independent living after experiencing homelessness.

Short selection of Key tasks: 

  1. To maintain an active case load of clients who are attending activities on site and might need additional support to sustain their accommodation and reduce the barriers to accessing community assets.
  2. To support clients with a range of needs including health and wellbeing, social inclusion and accessing education, training and employment opportunities.
  3. Creating and maintaining information about relevant community activities and events linked to the areas where client’s tenancies are based.
  4. Partnership working with external agencies and community assets to facilitate access for clients
