We currently have a vacancy in our Adult Services Team to support the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team and work with our Adult Carer Team. This is a senior role that requires managerial experience, an understanding of the health and social care sector, safeguarding, empathy and the ability to work with different employed teams and volunteers.   

Main duties will include:

To: 

· Be a member of the Senior Management team and actively participate in the overall strategic management and development of the organisation.

· Ensure that the strategic development of the adult carer services are co-ordinated and services are delivered in line with funded contract requirements, CSC's development plan and local and national strategies and priorities.

· Be responsible for the support, supervision, management and development of the Carer Support Team, Health Team, Volunteer Development & Carers Time Team Managers and the Walk & Talk lead.

· Be the Adult Safeguarding lead, working in conjunction with the Children’s Safeguarding lead and deputies.

· Lead on the staff wellbeing programme and areas of work.

Responsibilities and Person Specification: 

Working closely with the CEO, the Director of Policy and Influencing and the Head of Policy and Research, the Head of Influencing will lead a powerful influencing programme. They will ensure that our work is centred around the experiences of older people in poverty, and that we undertake strategic and sustained influencing activity to persuade key decision makers and persuaders to support and act on our policy recommendations across the nations. Alongside providing cross organisational media communications support. The Head of Influencing will provide effective, inspirational, transparent and compassionate leadership and line management to colleagues in the Influencing department. This is one of two new roles in our well established Policy and Influencing Directorate, building on our commitment to drive forward policy change that tackles poverty in later life. 

You should have a passion to tackle poverty in later life, and significant experience leading the development and delivery of overarching influencing strategies across the nations to effectively target decision makers and secure support for our policy calls. It’s also essential to be an experienced line manager and team player, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across the nations to secure policy change.

What will you do:

As Services Co-Ordinator, you will take the lead on two of Headway UK’s vital services. You will be responsible for processing applications to our Emergency Fund, which provides travel and hotel grants to family members, to support them to be at the bedside of loved ones, when their family member is in hospital, after acquiring a brain injury. Your role will include making recommendations for funding, signposting applicants onto other organisations, keeping detailed records and producing basic financial reports to highlight the Emergency Funds’ position throughout the year.

You will also lead the annual renewal of the Headway UK’s Solicitor’s Directory, ensuring it remains a vital resource for those seeking specialist solicitors with experience in handling brain injury cases. 

You will work alongside colleagues within the wider Services Department to provide exceptional co-ordination and administrative support, to some of our direct services, including training and our network of local independent Headway charities and volunteer led branches.

On occasion you will also be required to work with the Project Lead for Brain Injury Identity Cards and assist with processing Brain Injury Identity Card applications.

About the role

This role builds on work that we have been doing for decades to support and empower LGBT+ people who have experienced sexual violence. Your work will enable LGBT+ people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.

You will work directly with LGBT+ victims/survivors, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related experiences of sexual violence, including issues such as wellbeing, support with the criminal and civil justice process, safety and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care.

You will sit alongside our other advocates supporting LGBT+ people facing abuse or violence. You will work with mainstream services to ensure the voices and experiences of LGBT+ survivors are represented in order to make change for our community at a local and national level. You will also work closely with key partner organisations by attending meetings and have the opportunity to take part in external work to ensure a joined-up approach among services working with LGBT+ people facing abuse and violence.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about supporting LGBT+ people who have experienced sexual violence. You will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by LGBT+ people and be committed to providing empathetic, person-centred support. You will be able to handle sensitive situations with care and professionalism, maintaining strong boundaries while being supportive and empowering.

You will have expertise in delivering needs-led specialist support services and you will need to be solutions-focussed and enjoy working collaboratively across a diverse and committed team. You’ll need to have good resilience and self-care and be prepared to work in an environment where abuse and violence are regularly talked about. You’ll need to understand the impact of trauma and how that affects our team. In-house support, upskilling, and training will be provided – you don’t need to be an expert in abuse and violence to be the right person for this role.

There is a genuine occupational requirement under the Sexual Orientation Regulations 2003 for this post. It is considered essential that post holders have experience of LGBT+ needs, and impact of discrimination as the Helpline is run for LGBT people experiencing domestic violence.

The role

We have recently set a new 3-year strategy, leading to a major transformation of the organisation. To support this, we are building a new Project Delivery function and investing in key capabilities, including project management and business analysis. The role

We are seeking a fundraiser or an experienced account manager who relishes the excitement of exceeding income targets and developing strong relationships. You will identify opportunities to increase the value of your partnership portfolio and work closely with the Corporate Development Team to ensure the transition between new business and account management is seamless for both FareShare and our partners.

You will manage a portfolio of partners: designing and delivering tailored partnership plans and an innovative and personalised suite of partnership activity. You will work with colleagues across fundraising to ensure we maximise the value of our partnerships. We currently have partnerships with a large variety of exciting brands from Tesco to Oliver Bonas, McDonalds to Subway, Kellogg’s to Pink Lady apples and Bloomberg to Burberry – our partners support us in a variety of ways including cause related marketing campaigns, staff and customer fundraising, corporate donations and wider sponsorships and partnerships.

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of excellent partnership/relationship management and ideally have experience of delivering a variety of fundraising partnerships including commercial brand licensing. You will have excellent communication skills and will be comfortable negotiating bespoke deals and benefits packages and will lead renewal plans to secure and grow the support of current partners.

Cross team collaboration is crucial to the role and you will be able to demonstrate strong relationship building and influencing skills.

Main areas of responsibility

1. Deliver first rate account management of corporate partnerships and promotions with existing corporate partners to achieve objectives and build excellent relationships that facilitate future growth.

• Provide a high standard of professional relationship and account management to a portfolio of partners, delivering a mix of partnership types including; Charity of the Year, commercial brand partnerships/campaigns and retail partnerships
• Working with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider team to implement bespoke cultivation and stewardship strategies for each corporate partner, that encourage development of strategic, multi-faceted partnerships thinking creatively and entrepreneurially to maximise the value of each partnership and meet agreed targets and KPIs
• Ensure FareShare’s strategic priorities are addressed through our partnerships and that the brand is protected and appropriately valued
• Prepare and deliver engaging and confident presentations (both at one-to-one level and at a much larger scale)
• Establish, agree and monitor key milestones for each relationship

2. Work closely with internal project teams to maximise the potential for fundraising

• Work with other areas of Fundraising, the Food Team and Operations Team to maximise possibilities for partners and FareShare and to report to partners in a timely manner

We are currently seeking a Scheme Manager to Manage two of our schemes based in Oxfordshire. The scheme consists of 40 and 20 properties and the role would be working alongside the onsite care team, who provide 24/7 care. In this key role you will deliver intensive housing management support to residents living within the scheme and liaise with the care team and external agencies to ensure that holistic support to residents is delivered to meet their needs.

This role is for 37 hours per week, and we can offer flexible working over Monday – Friday.

What you will be doing:

• Manage an Independent Living Scheme, by carrying out all intensive housing management tasks, such as income management, dealing with tenancy related issues and communicating with residents and third parties.
• Maintain thorough records of all contact with residents and support providers/professionals, using relevant systems as appropriate.
• Carry out suitability assessments, tenancy sign ups and empty homes management.
• Ensure the scheme is well managed, safe, and clean by overseeing any communal repairs, cleaning or maintenance and liaising with appropriate departments as necessary, escalating any unresolved concerns.
• Liaise with care teams and external agencies to ensure that a holistic package of support is offered to residents.

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to work as CYP IDVA supporting survivors of VAWG and raising awareness of domestic abuse in schools for those aged 16-25. As an CYP IDVA you will provide immediate support for victim/survivors of abuse including carrying out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and providing short-term support and onward referral. In addition, you will act as a domestic abuse lead for Solace in Barnet providing advice and guidance to Solace staff and schools.

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with external agencies in your work.
