As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insight, advice and support to key stakeholders across the organisation. You will be a trusted adviser to non-finance teams helping them to understand financial data and make informed decisions. You will be a key element of the high-performing and credible finance team, supporting both the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant and the Assistant Accountant in operational finance and in ongoing delivery of accurate financial information on which the business partnering relies.
To be successful in this role you will have strong analytical skills, providing financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting advice to drive performance and operational efficiency. You will have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders across the RCR. Having strong commercial acumen, you will be able to communicate with and influence a range of audiences effectively with an understanding that strong, reliable financial data is the foundation of a successful business and is a primary deliverable.

What you’ll do:
- Deliver a decision support service to managers and directors to deliver improved financial performance outcomes for the RCR.
- Ensure that partners use effective financial controls over their spend and income conforming to RCR’s policies and to optimise RCR’s outcomes.
- Support the partners in the production of outturn forecasts, budgets and multiyear financial plans that conform to RCR’s financial needs.
- Provide effective analytical insight and advice to partners and Head of Finance to maximise the return on investment and support for implementing change to improve outcomes.
- Supporting RCR’s regular financial and non-financial performance reporting with analytical advice, insight and commentaries.

What you’ll need:
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)
- Experience of financial business partnering role or accounting role in comparable organisation.

- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical/non-professional audiences.
- An enquiring and analytical mindset with the ability to spot risks, to dig further to follow up on problems and work through issues to offer practical solutions.

Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR) exists to relieve the suffering of British wildlife, to encourage respect and tolerance for wildlife and to further its conservation. SWWR strives to do this by:

Our Fundraising Manager is responsible for planning and preparing all fundraising and grants working alongside all departments to ensure projects are fulfilled from inception to fruition. The post holder takes care of medium- to long-term activities, budgeting, planning and strategy, as well as being responsive to emerging opportunities and adapting to change. The Fundraising Manager is also the main point of contact for new and existing supporters, providing support and stewardship to the amazing individuals and organisations who want to help wildlife.
Alongside the above, the Fundraising Manager will also provide support to the current fundraising personnel and activities at SWWR, coordinating and supporting a range of tasks and functions to aid in the smooth running of the Charity.
Fundraising is integrated into every part of SWWR’s operations. The Fundraising Manager works closely with colleagues in Education, Retail, Events, Finance, Volunteering, and Wildlife Care to understand their needs and provide support to aid in the smooth running of the Charity.
SWWR’s annual operational costs are approximately £900,000. The majority of funding is raised through supporter donations, fundraising events, trading activities and legacies.

Key duties and responsibilities
Do you have experience managing internal communications, working within fundraising teams or delivering training and briefings to staff?
The post holder will:
-lead on improving communication and cross working between teams, across the directorate of 100+ people and with the wider organisation, ensuring that fundraising staff are equipped with the information, tools, networks, processes and systems to be able to carry out their roles effectively.
-champion collaboration across the directorate, the federation, with Mind Retail and with Mind Cymru, enabling teams to problem-solve together and deliver solutions that place our supporters front and centre, whilst maximising the value of our products and assets.
-help to support the fundraising teams to have a united sense of purpose and direction, a sound understanding of the tools, protocols and cross-working processes that enable them to do their job effectively, and that their needs are understood both within the directorate and wider organisation.

The Upper Room (TUR) works with a wide range of financially and socially disadvantaged groups including homeless people, people with long-term mental health conditions, asylum-seekers, refugees and ex-offenders – helping them to improve their lives and become productive members of society. Central to our offering is our UR4Meals service, providing free, home-cooked food to people who cannot afford to provide for themselves. We are also very proud of our UR4Driving programme, which supports people recently out of prison with free driving lessons in exchange for community volunteering. The role
Is leading the charity through its next phases of development as it prepares itself for year on year increases in demand with a focus on delivering the charity’s future resilience plan (Project 12/25). The CEO is accountable for overall charity performance (financial, operational, governance, compliance), team (paid and volunteer) support and development. Additionally, there are a wide range of community and external partner relationships to manage and develop. Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility
Operational Leadership and Governance
- Overall accountability for the operations of the foundation

Financial Management

- Oversee the financial reports required to review progress against plans and forecasts throughout the year and ensuring these are disseminated and understood across the organisation
- Accountable for regular financial updates to Trustees including the Finance Investment Committee (FIC) and Board meetings along with the preparation of the financial aspects of the annual report and accounts
- Oversee the management and development of VAT reporting for FNF and trading subsidiary
- Oversee the financial aspect of FNF Global delivery to ensure compliance with HMRC
Systems and controls
- Lead in the development, implementation and monitoring of effective procurement systems and procedures, ensuring that FNF achieves best value and drives efficiencies through our external contracts
- Lead on the annual audit in accordance with current practice and the Charity Commissions Standard of Recommended Practice (SORP), liaising and managing the relationship with the auditors

Refugee Council is a leading charity supporting refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives in safety here in the UK. Providing practical, hands on support, their award winning services include welcoming refugees into local communities across the country, providing specialist children’s services – with a particular focus on refugee children who arrive here alone, helping people to navigate the asylum system, and supporting people to access housing and employment. Evidence from services is then used to also inform the charity’s leading policy and influencing work, including campaigning for a fairer and kinder refugee protection system. The charity works with more than 14,000 men, women and children every year.
As a result of growing need and increasing interest in Refugee Council’s work, the charity has ambitious plans to make a leap in impact, with investment in their Philanthropy Team to raise increased funds from key high value audiences.
This role will be a critical part of the Philanthropy & Partnerships management team and represents a brilliant opportunity to support the growth and development of our major donor, trust and statutory and corporate partnerships portfolios.

Theatres Trust, the national advisory body for theatres, is looking for a Theatres Adviser with knowledge and experience of theatre buildings and the wider theatre sector, to be part of its small team of Advisers.
Working closely with the Architecture, Planning and Theatres at Risk Advisers, you will bring your expertise as a theatre industry professional at a senior level to provide advice, guidance and signposting to theatre operators, owners, local authorities, campaign groups, developers and other stakeholders to support the resilience and wellbeing of the UK’s theatres.
This will cover a range of topics including governance, viability, operating models, business planning, ownership and leases, income generation, fundraising, and capital projects. You will also manage our grant giving programmes to support theatres to make building improvements and will work alongside the Director to advocate for measures which support the wellbeing of theatres and promote the value of theatres in placemaking.

About the role
This is an awesome role focussed on improving our ways of working and processes when it comes to those who support us. We want all of our supporters to have a first class experience when they decide to donate their time and/or money to supporting children and young people with cancer and their families. However we know that as an organisation we have more to do to make this happen and the time is now.
Working in Income Generation, this role will take a recently conducted diagnostic carried out by a business improvement consultant and not only work through the next steps but make change happen, prioritising the areas with the biggest wins. This role really will have a lasting legacy in the organisation.
We're not just looking for someone to map change, this person will lead operational design and process re-engineering that transforms the Income Generation directorate and it's workforce into high achievers.
You’ll be based within the Project Management Office (PMO), a supportive team of professionals that lead transformational change across the organisation as well as corporate planning. You’ll also have close relationship with the Head of Planning and Strategy in Income Generation as well as the Associate Director Supporter Engagement.

What will I be doing?
No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description.
- Building on the diagnostics carried out already within Income Generation directorate to optimise organisational design and scope improvements.
- Using the diagnostics to identify pain areas, develop a sequenced plan to tackle these issues and then implement the plan to improve performance, processes and services i.e. “getting hands dirty”.
- Embedding a culture of improvement in the organisation and developing these capabilities within the workforce.
- All of these activities will involve facilitating workshops, engaging audiences with tailored communications, debating and negotiating ideas with leaders, managing governance, risks and dependencies, evaluating progress etc.

The roots of today's charity grew from one shop, on Battersea Park Road, opened in 1992. The shop's objective was to raise funds to support the Wandsworth Oasis AIDS Care Centre.
