Role Requirements
Site wide general housekeeping service – ensure that the housekeeping services is of an acceptable level and is consistent across site.
- Carry out a cleaning service in allocated buildings/rooms/areas ensuring that daily tasks are completed according to the standard operating procedures in relation to the cleanliness/hygiene standards.
- Follow infection control procedures whenever carrying out duties and ensure procedures are followed should there be an infection control outbreak.
- Liaise with the Housekeeping Supervisor and House Staff on a daily basis – carrying out special requests in relation to Housekeeping.
- Ensure safe storage of cleaning materials and equipment and sufficient stock is maintained – informing the Housekeeping Supervisor of stock requiring ordering.
- Assist in the cleaning of communal areas on a daily basis and cleaning of carpets, curtains and high dusting on a rotating schedule.
- Ensure that any repairs required to fixtures and fittings are reported to the designated Facilities Helpdesk as soon as possible and any issues are reported to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Assist in routine housekeeping audits as outlined in the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure any works are to agreed service levels.
- Prioritise work to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Assist other members of the Site Services and Facilities teams as required.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.

The Role
The People Team are recruiting for an interim People Business Partner to provide some dedicated focus in our largest Skylight in London, with the potential to then scale up any successful interventions to other Skylights. This is an exciting time to join us as the team at London are making some great progress in their cultural transformation.
Contract: 12 months fixed term
Location: 3 days a week onsite at the London Skylight (located in E1) with some homeworking possible , and a requirement for some travel to other Skylights in England, Scotland and Wales.
About the role
As People Business Partner you will provide expertise on employee relations, cultural transformation, employee engagement and relationship building. The role will be varied managing both day to day issues and longer term transformational work.
You will work closely with the leadership team within the Skylight, our union colleagues and the wider People team and Learning/OD team. You will be visible and approachable to the staff team and become a trusted colleague within the Skylight working to bring colleagues closer together as everyone unites to deliver on the operational requirements and longer term strategic ambitions.
You will play a key role in embedding some of the work of the wider People team such as new resolution methods, coaching and mediation. You will also play a key role in establishing a staff forum within the Skylight.
You will have opportunities to contribute to project work within the Skylight, wider Client Services Directorate and the People team playing a key role in ensuring that our people practices are developed through effective collaboration with stakeholders and in line with our new corporate values.
You will be a member of the extended management team within the People Team; helping to shape our plans to deliver most impact.
About you
This role will require a postholder who can identify opportunities for improvements and collaboration. Someone who is experienced in employee relations, building relationships, creating momentum and positive change. You will have a person centred approach and be able to provide clarity and simplicity to complex matters.
You will have a solid background operating autonomously at Partner level and the ability to capitalise on wider organisational people and culture initiatives; bringing them to life locally and delivering tangible outcomes.
A background in mediation, project management, and change management would be a distinct advantage.
Whilst a background in the homelessness sector is not essential, an understanding of the broad challenges will be required in order to best support the team at the Skylight.

About the role
The Hardman Trust supports people on long prison sentences to take their next steps in life. As the office, grants and programmes administrator your role is to help make this a reality through the day-to-day support of our work. You’ll help to ensure our programmes run smoothly, and that the staff have the administrative support they need to provide a quality service to people accessing our programmes.

Scope of role
The Head of Programme & Organisational Development is also one of two Co-Leads of On Purpose London. As such, they are jointly responsible for the London Associate Programme in partnership with the Co-Lead of On Purpose London who focuses on Business Development & Community. We find this co-leadership model offers a useful balance of mutual support and challenge, role-modelling how we believe leadership should operate.
You would be part of our cross-organisational leadership team of six city leads and the CEO. The role works with a team of 10 Programmes Advisers focusing on each of UNICEF’s programmatic priority areas to support fundraising, communications and advocacy as part of our work for children in emergencies.
We are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience working with and within international organisations with a human rights-based imperative, and ideally in the area of climate adaptation and resilience, environmental sustainability, or Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). JOB PURPOSE
To inspire people with mental health conditions to progress, and to gain and sustain paid employment. Some Employment Specialists will support clients with common (mild to moderate) mental health conditions (e.g. anxiety, depression), whilst others will support clients with more severe and enduring mental illness (e.g. schizophrenia, bipolar, personality disorders).
Depending on what clients are right for you to work with, you will either work across the local NHS primary or secondary care network alongside NHS clinicians to secure client referrals.
To work with clients with more serious mental illness, you will need to be comfortable supporting people who have experienced / are experiencing serious mental health challenges, as well as possibly other serious difficulties in their lives. THE ROLE – EMPLOYMENT ADVISORS
The new Employment Advisors (EAs) will work within the West London NHS Talking Therapies provision. They will work one-to-one with a caseload of clients referred by NHS Talking Therapies therapists to find employment, remain in existing work if they are struggling, improve their working environment, return to work following sickness or positively leave or retire from work.
You will primarily fulfil these duties by providing information, as well as advice and guidance to clients who choose to receive employment support. The work should empower clients to make better decisions about their working lives, as well as communicate better with colleagues and managers in existing roles. You will also signpost clients to other relevant support agencies, as appropriate.
This role would suit someone with a background in employment support, psychology, counselling, human resources or recruitment.
EMPLOYMENT ADVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Engage a mixed caseload of clients at any given time serving 100-125 per year, with common mental health problems, to establish trusting, collaborative relationships to support them to find new employment or support them in, or to leave, existing employment. Support will be provided face-to-face in Talking Therapies settings, via secure online meeting platforms or over the telephone.
2. Along with their NHS clinician, assess clients’ support needs with a view to creating, implementing, and adjusting a personalised action plan to help improve clients’ mental health and achieve their stated employment goals.
3. Develop and deliver a range of practical services to support clients to find work, including career guidance, job searching skills, CV preparation, application form completion, interview skills, advice on local labour market opportunities and advice on education and training to further their career.
4. Provide guidance to support clients to stay in existing work, including advice on mental health disclosure, negotiating reasonable adjustments to existing workplaces, creating wellness action plans, and improving productivity, support to return to work after sickness absence or to leave an existing role with dignity, and signpost clients to organisations that can represent them (EAs should only look to represent clients in exceptional circumstances).
5. Facilitate access to other advice in areas such as financial benefits, debt management, food banks and community food outlets and social housing providers, as necessary.
6. Work directly with partners like Jobcentre Plus, other employment providers, employers, trade unions and employment agencies to support clients to stay in employment and secure employment opportunities.
7. Build a constant flow of referrals from the clinical team to ensure a dynamic and mixed caseload.
8. Meet referral and performance targets in line with the specific KPI / SLA requirements of the service.

This is a really exciting new role within their Finance and Operations team as the Business and Projects Support Officer. Maudsley Charity has been through a period of rapid growth over the last 18 months and you will have the opportunity to showcase your project skills across varied projects all aimed at driving the efficiency, accountability and development of the Charity’s operations and award-winning building. Your work will contribute to vital objectives for the Charity, which in turn means they can can continue to make a difference for people who experience mental illness.
Business and Projects Support Officer
Location: Ortus, Denmark Hill, London 50% (and home working)
Salary: £34,000 per annum plus excellent benefits
Contract: Permanent - Full time
The Finance and Operations Team underpins the Charity’s delivery of its mission and is responsible for management of the Charity’s endowment, financial sustainability and charitable impact, governance and compliance, and management of business operations such as IT, facilities etc.
One of their goals for the next five years is to ensure that the Charity’s assets continue to be in good order, and this job holder will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful project delivery and well-executed business processes.
The charity operates primarily within the four boroughs served by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham, and Southwark), but the work they fund has the potential for wider impact at both national and international levels, through the sharing of the outcomes with the wider mental health community.
Their small but ambitious team works in a very collaborative and supportive way. They are at the jump-off point of a new five-year strategy and an exciting period of growth. As our People & Finance Systems Owner, you will play a vital role managing the systems for these two critical business areas. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across both directorates, planning the continuous improvement and maintenance programmes and leading a small team to deliver these improvements alongside the management of external support contracts. This role would be suitable for a Senior People or Finance Systems Manager with strong stakeholder management skills who is looking to take the next step in their career combining both disciplines. Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors or SUN Systems would be beneficial as you will need to be able to offer configuration guidance and support to the team.
