JOB PURPOSE
To inspire people with mental health conditions to progress, and to gain and sustain paid employment. Some Employment Specialists will support clients with common (mild to moderate) mental health conditions (e.g. anxiety, depression), whilst others will support clients with more severe and enduring mental illness (e.g. schizophrenia, bipolar, personality disorders).
Depending on what clients are right for you to work with, you will either work across the local NHS primary or secondary care network alongside NHS clinicians to secure client referrals.
To work with clients with more serious mental illness, you will need to be comfortable supporting people who have experienced / are experiencing serious mental health challenges, as well as possibly other serious difficulties in their lives. Although you will receive full training and support, it’s important you are aware of the potential impact this may have on your own mental wellbeing.
All Employment Specialists will follow the 8 principles of IPS, adhere to the IPS Fidelity Scale and achieve monthly targets and KPIs with the required administration and compliance.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Engage a caseload of clients with mental health problems and establish trusting, collaborative relationships to support them into employment in line with contract targets and IPS fidelity.
2. Assess clients’ employment support needs; implementing and adjusting employment plans as necessary to support each client’s desired outcomes along IPS requirements.
3. Develop and deliver a range of practical services to meet clients’ needs including career guidance, job searching, CV preparation, interview skills, individual coping techniques or work coaching.
4. Build a constant flow of referrals to ensure a dynamic caseload.
5. Conduct weekly employer engagement activity in line with IPS Fidelity.
6. Understand the complex issues a client may face, recognise holistic support needs and work in conjunction with clinical staff.
7. Facilitate access to expert financial advice on welfare benefits and ‘access to work’ resources.
8. Provide support and reasonable adjustments if required, to employed clients to support them to stay and progress in work.
9. As requested, attend clinical team meetings to provide advice and information on employment and IPS.
10. Collaborate with community partners to raise awareness of employment and mental health issues and promote access to the service.
11. Maintain accurate and up to date records of activity and outcomes in line with service requirements, ensuring the IT database is up to date and paperwork compliant.

Reporting to the Association Director of Financial Services, the Payroll Manager will manage all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring compliance with policies and legal regulations. Main Duties:

St Joseph’s Hospice has an exciting role on offer within the Volunteers Team. We are seeking an experienced Volunteering Support Officer who, ideally, has previous administration experience and an understanding of working with volunteers and who is able to provide support to volunteering admin across the team. In this role, you will work 37.5 hours per week.
Main Duties
You will be responsible for the day-to-day admin in the team, including applying for volunteers’ references and DBS checks and uploading adverts onto recruitment sites. You will also have an opportunity to assist in volunteer information sessions and training and provide other admin support as needed. To be successful, you will have proven administration, organisation and communication skills, experience of communicating with a diverse range of people, and the ability to work independently. The role
We are recruiting for an Interim Head of Diversity and Inclusion for a period of up to one year to provide maternity cover. This is an exciting and high-profile role, working externally across the engineering profession and internally across the organisation. As Interim Head of the Diversity and Inclusion, you will lead a team of skilled and dedicated diversity professionals and steer the course of our portfolio of programmes and activities.
You will report to the Executive Director, Programmes, providing oversight and leadership across the whole portfolio of activity. This includes:
- Our Industry activity supporting the promotion and embedding of inclusive cultures in engineering businesses. These include inclusive engineering leadership programmes, D&I toolkits and resources, inclusive recruitment programmes and more.
- Education support, including our Higher Education Diversity Impact Programme supporting higher education institutions to support D&I approaches and develop a community of practice to facilitate learning and sharing of ideas across the wider engineering higher education sector.
- Our diversity and inclusion research programme which provides insightful and rigorous research to identify barriers to achieving our goals and informs actions and recommendations on diversity and inclusion.

Location
Our primary light, spacious offices are based in a fantastic location in central London with views over St James’s Park and close to the West End. The Interim Financial Controller sits within a Finance Team, which provides the full range of financial support, reporting and services across Conciliation Resources to support the efficient and effective running of the organisation and the delivery of its work.

Job Purpose
The Financial Controller has responsibility for the maintenance of business processes and controls, expenditure and balance sheet transactions. He/she also works with the rest of the Finance Team and other teams to ensure smooth and timely project and statutory audits. The Interim Financial Controller will provide cover for this role while the postholder is on maternity leave.
Scope and Accountability
The Organisational Support team provides support to all parts of Conciliation Resources in the areas of financial management, personnel (HR) management, fundraising, information and communications technology, facilities and organisational communications.
The post-holder works closely with others in the Finance Team and other staff across Conciliation Resources as well as our organisational partners. • Experience in managing projects funded by the European Union, FCDO and other donors, including donor relationship management, programme development and narrative and budget reporting.
• Qualified Accountant (CCAB) with substantial experience of working in an accounting function

• Proven experience of managing month end and year end processes including audits
