About the Role
We are now recruiting for two Case Workers who will each manage and support a caseload of Black and minoritised migrant women with multiple and complex needs in contact with the criminal justice system and under immigration restrictions, providing holistic, long-term support and advocacy to empower women to rebuild their lives.
This role will support women, including young women, being released from prison to the London area, encompassing support for those on probation, ‘through-the-gate service’ users, un-sentenced women in custody and women in contact with the criminal justice system in London. The post holder will proactively develop partnerships, acting as the main point of contact for referrals in prisons, detention centres and with probation staff to identify Black and minoritised migrant women who are eligible for our services and support.
These roles will involve managing and supporting a caseload of 25-30 women at any one time, working collaboratively with each service user to develop an individual support plan with achievable and realistic goals, and supporting her to work towards them. It will include supporting women to participate in education, training, providing outreach support, and ensuring the women they work with have a clear understanding of their rights and obligations by providing up to date information on housing, health and welfare benefits. The post holders will be responsible for maintaining detailed case notes, goals, activities, participants’ attendance for funding and monitoring purposes.
The post holders will also be expected to effectively manage safeguarding issues and concerns, ensuring they are appropriately documented and referred. The successful candidates will also provide cover and support for our Women’s Centre and workshops

About you
We are particularly keen to attract talent from Black and minoritised communities and those with lived experience of immigration and the criminal justice systems, and/or violence against women and girls.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of working directly with Black and minoritised women, including young women under 30, affected by the criminal justice system, the immigration system, and/or violence against women and girls. You will have a good understanding of the specific intersectional issues faced by Black and minoritised migrant women in the criminal justice system and on release.
You will have demonstrable experience of delivering individual support, wellbeing, advocacy and empowerment interventions to women with complex needs, practicing a trauma-informed, women-responsive approach in your casework provision. You will be confident in providing information and advice on a range of matters including immigration, welfare, education, training and employment, providing advice in line with IAA (previously OISC) accreditations.
You will have a solid understanding of safeguarding needs, identifying and managing concerns and risks and adhering to internal policies and procedures. This will require an ability to maintain clear boundaries, maintain high levels of confidentiality and demonstrate a proactive approach to working.
You will also have an understanding of one of more of Hibiscus’ key work areas – criminal justice, immigration and migrants’ rights, racial justice, and/or violence against women and girls and gender justice.

About the role:
- Provide psychotherapy sessions on outreach to female clients
- Flexible approach to meeting vulnerable female clients
- Deliver specialised outreach psychotherapy to female clients in the five boroughs we operate - Hackney, Tower Hamlets, City of London, Newham and Redbridge. A day per borough.
- Work collaboratively with Street Outreach Response Teams and other specialist agencies
- Offer both formal psychotherapy sessions and informal support, adapting to clients' needs in terms of scheduling and locations.
- Conduct street shifts alongside the commissioned Outreach Service, introducing and promoting our service to potential clients
- Support individuals transitioning into emergency, temporary, or long-term accommodation
- Support women who are rough sleeping
- Support females’ rough sleepers who are placed into our Severe Weather Emergency Provision (SWEP) during designated winter days/nights.
- Provide support for Housing First clients in their tenancies.
- Provide support to female clients in their hostel accommodation
- Take referrals from SORT and Providence Row.
- Promote the service to individuals currently rough sleeping through joint shifts with Reset (drug and alcohol treatment service).

Night Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.
The shift patter for this role include:12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off.

YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER

About the role
The young people’s semi-independent services are a dedicated team committed to providing supporting and empowering environments for young people aged 16 – 18 years who are under the care of the Local Authority. Our approach is rooted in the principles of psychologically informed environments (PIE), ensuring that our services are tailored to meet the psychological and emotional needs of those we support. We believe in creating safe, welcoming spaces that foster growth, resilience and positive change, whilst adhering to Ofsted regulations.
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic support worker to join our team. In this role you will provide flexible and responsive support to the young people, adapting to their individual needs and circumstances. Your work will be guided by the principles of PIE, ensuring that all interactions are trauma-informed and empathetic.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide one to one and group support to young people, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their well-being.
- Build trusting and respectful relationships with young people, understanding their unique backgrounds and challenges.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to deliver a coordinated and holistic support plan.
- Where required support young people to attend appointments both in house & externally.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualised support plans in partnership with young people.
- Promote a safe, inclusive and PIE across all service settings.
- Ability to work on a 4 week rolling rota, covering a mixture of 7am-3pm & 2pm-10pm shifts, including weekends.

About this role
The role of Health Engagement Worker will involve supporting a caseload of service users that are experiencing homelessness. The role requires the use of specialist knowledge and relationship skills to influence service users with varying degrees of mental health, addiction and trauma related issues to engage with health services.
This will include advocacy in registering them for medical services and accompanying them to appointments; assisting them in addressing all aspects of physical and mental health or substance addiction needs, as well as advocating or them to get access to source housing and social security benefits. Service Delivery

Could you bring the problem solving skills and inspiring approach needed to a vital rapid response service for women experiencing homelessness in Bristol?
We are looking for someone to join the Respite Rooms as a Project Worker.
Managed in partnership by St Mungo’s and Next Link on behalf of the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), the Respite Rooms is a 12 month pilot offering short stay temporary accommodation, providing a specialist gender and trauma informed service for women with complex needs fleeing or at risk of domestic and/or gender-based violence.
In the role of Project Worker you will work as part of a dedicated team to provide a safe, high quality, positive and inclusive service to women with multiple support needs, who have also experienced domestic violence and VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls).
You will carry out comprehensive client assessments; providing clients with personalised case management support to help connect them into specialist external services, ensuring a housing pathway so the women can be rapidly and safely rehoused.
You will work on the weekly shift rota that includes some evenings, weekends. In some of these role’s staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.
About you
We are looking for enthusiastic people with experience of working with vulnerable people and an understanding of the needs of women experiencing homelessness. If you have good communication and listening skills, patience and resilience we will provide you with the knowledge and training you need to work with clients in a holistic and person-centred way. About the Role
As Young People Support Worker you will work under the direction, guidance and support of a manager/senior worker you will be responsible for a caseload of clients as well as share responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all clients, volunteers and staff in the service.
In accommodation based services you will ensure that the accommodation is properly maintained and support the client to sustain their tenancy and participate in positive and successful move on.
Where the client lives in the community you will ensure that their tenancy is not at risk and that they have the skills and resources to manage and maintain their accommodation.
Key responsibilities include:
· Ensure client safety, wellbeing, and adherence to safeguarding and emergency procedures.
· Deliver high-quality risk assessments, support plans, and one-to-one/group support to build client resilience.
· Foster partnerships with local agencies to support clients while following data protection protocols.
· Engage flexibly and creatively with clients, encouraging their involvement in decisions and participation in activities.
· Support clients in accessing education, training, employment, and volunteering opportunities.
· Maintain health and safety standards, prepare accommodations for new clients, and oversee accurate financial records.
· Collaborate with team members, volunteers, and attend training and meetings as required, ensuring contract compliance.
About You
You will need to have the following skills and experience:
· Experience working with young people or those affected by homelessness.
· Understanding of the needs of individuals facing homelessness, mental health issues, substance misuse, or the care system.
· Knowledge of risk assessments, support planning, safeguarding, and health and safety procedures.
· Strong literacy, numeracy, IT skills, and commitment to diversity, equality, and professional integrity.
· Ability to maintain professional boundaries, work collaboratively, and reflect on practices for continuous development.

We have a role available for a Young People Support Worker to join Depaul UK and work as part of a services team in Warrington, delivering an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported accommodation.

About the Role

You will participate in our programme of meaningful activity by running group sessions and activities within the accommodation to support young people’s individual development and social engagement.
In accommodation based services you will ensure that the accommodation is properly maintained and support the client to sustain their tenancy and participate in positive and successful move on.
You will work a rolling rota of daytimes, evenings and weekends (some shifts will be lone working) including bank holidays to ensure that young people have full staff support during their most difficult times.
