- Responsibility for Measurement and Evaluation of your contribution to the whole L&D team's work - assessing the contribution of the various learning interventions in building strategic capacity across the Church.

- Work with the programme co-ordinator and additional administrative support to deliver the SLDP discernment process from initiation to completion at the moderation panel and the subsequent communication of outcomes and feedback. This will include serving on the panels, working with all key stakeholders associated with the discernment process and ensuring accurate information is provided and recorded across the entire process.

About the role
Based within the Fundraising Team, this role is responsible for providing exceptional supporter care to our donors and fundraisers, ensuring accurate record keeping and reporting, and supporting various income streams for the charity including individual giving and community fundraising. It is an important role within the Fundraising and Communications Department, which is responsible for raising the profile of the organisation and the experiences of those we are here to help, and mobilising support to the cause.
This role will help acquire and steward existing and prospective supporters, including individuals, schools and faith groups taking part in fundraising events and activities, as well as one-off and regular donors. It will ensure people receive an excellent supporter experience, so that both they feel valued and informed about the impact they are making.

- Be the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries, providing information, support and materials quickly and efficiently.

influences law and policy with the aim of reducing poverty, improving health and advancing
equality and human rights for all pregnant women and new parents.
We prioritise issues affecting low income and marginalised women and have an active

We are looking for an experienced Senior Employment and Social Security Policy Officer to
undertake policy analysis, campaigning and research on employment rights affecting
pregnant women and new parents, including maternity discrimination, precarious work,
health and safety, maternity and parental leave and flexible working.
You will be able to form relationships with Government, Trade Unions, business groups, Equality and Human Rights
Commission and voluntary sector organisations. Working with staff across the organisation
you will be able to communicate about employment policy effectively to a wide range of
audiences.
You will have an understanding of the social security system as it relates to pregnant women
and new parents, and an ability to analyse policy developments relating to the Department
for Work and Pensions.

Rough sleeping data shows that migrants make up more than 50% of the people rough sleeping in London. The Migrant Accommodation Pathways Support (MAPS) service provides a rapid intervention to support clients who are migrants and rough sleeping in London to find a route into accommodation that is suitable and sustainable in the UK or elsewhere in the world. We are looking for someone to join our team as a Coordinator where you will:
- Work alongside our small team who aim to maximise resources and find creative solutions to resolve the issues faced by people experiencing homelessness.
- Be the first point of contact for professionals where you will provide advice and support on next steps to empower professionals to identify routes out of homelessness for their clients.
- Oversee the team’s caseload, supporting the team to identify and deliver effective routes off the streets for non-UK nationals.
- Lead on partnership development for the MAPS service in the UK and with services across the world, maximising accommodation options for non-UK nationals.
While your usual working hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, occasional work during early or late hours may occur in response to challenging situations and to prevent rough sleeping. For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm-8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

About the Role:
Team Leadership
- Manage coach and build capabilities of the People Operations Team, their performance and development in line with our values and people promise.
- Expertise and ownership of UK People Team policies, processes and procedures ensuring that they meet legislative requirements, are fit for purpose and in line with best practice and organisational priorities under the umbrella of our employee value proposition.
- Lead the delivery of the UK People Support team so that service standards are met, solutions are pragmatic and driven by our values, minimising risk.
- Ambassador for our culture of continuous business processes improvement, digital working and knowledge management in the team.
- Contribute to the development of the UK People team annual plan and priorities.
- Work in close collaboration with the Head of People in the UK to ensure those we serve in the UK experience a joined up and impactful service, promoted through our self-servicing model.
Payroll, Pension and Reward
- Accountable for the delivery of the UK monthly payroll and pension processes, providing oversight and support to the work of the in-house Payroll Officer and being a back-up to their role, to ensure payroll is run accurately each month.
- Implement the annual pay award operationally ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of payment to all UK based staff.
- Implementation of a new payroll system for the UK.
Systems and Reporting
- Responsible for maintaining and using our HR Information System, PeoplePlace effectively and efficiently, partner with the Global Systems Administrator so that all UK based employee data is correct and in compliance with data protection.
- Drive the importance of data and people analytics and create a culture of data-based decision making and insight across the team.
- Joint ownership of UK headcount establishment data with key stakeholder in Finance.
- Annual analysis and statutory reporting of the Pay Gap in the UK.
- Annual reporting of our data to external charity sector Pay Club and other bodies that we seek guidance on as part of our annual pay award assessment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain people KPI's, reporting and management information requirements to inform organisational performance and better decision making.
Compliance and Contract Management
- Act as the UK Team specialist on areas of HR compliance, working with third parties and specialist advisors, to ensure that our policies, processes and practice are compliant and meet legal requirements.
- Responsible for GDPR in the People Team, provide senior expertise and build capability across the wider people function.
- Manage the relationship and contracts with third party providers and suppliers for all UK based initiatives such as, but not limited to, our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), Benefits Provider to ensure an effective, value for money service that meet our our business needs at all times.
Other
- Ownership of salary calculations in the event of employee termination.
- Budget management and invoice approval.
- Custodian of the maintenance of the UK operational delivery folders and their content.
- Build relationships with sector counterparts to bring the outside in perspective to UK.
About the Role:
Functional skills
- Proven experience of leading, managing and developing a high performing people operations team in a matrix, fast paced organisation.
- Proven experience of managing and running in-house payroll for 250 staff or more.
- Excellent understanding of HR policy development; and proven experience of developing and embedding HR policies, processes and procedures that are fit for purpose.
- A qualified and robust HR Practitioner who has sound and up to date knowledge of employment law, tax and legislative requirements affecting a wide spectrum of HR policies and practice, i.e. payroll, pension, reward and benefits together with their application in the context of the employee experience.
- Working knowledge and experience of HR and Payroll systems, to maximise the functionality and create efficiencies.
- Demonstrate project management capability.
- Proven experience of contract management and managing a wide range of third-party service providers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage, collaborate and build working relationships and partnerships with a wide variety of stakeholders (across the hierarchy up to senior management levels and across different cultures & backgrounds).
- Experience of leading cross functional projects and HR initiatives.

The role involves managing a caseload of 15-20 low - medium need clients, assisting them in transitioning to suitable accommodation, and connecting them with appropriate external services.

- Conducting and updating needs and risk assessments.
- Accompanying clients to appointments.
- Assisting clients in obtaining identification.
- Helping with benefits applications and ensuring clients receive all eligible benefits.
