The Role
The People Team are recruiting for an interim People Business Partner to support several directorates. This is an exciting time to join us as the team work to manage day to day activities and support the cultural transformation of the organisation in line with our new values.
About the role
As People Business Partner you will act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders in the assigned directorate(s), using a broad range of HR expertise and data insight to understand needs and advise on people initiatives that support the delivery of business plans . The role will be varied managing both day to day issues and longer term transformational work.
You will work in collaboration with the wider People and Culture function and areas of the organisation to deliver effective, development, planning, implementation and embedding of people and culture projects, and organisational change.
You will play an integral role in the development and embedding of the People and Culture Strategy and associated workstreams and projects
You will have opportunities to contribute to project work within the People team playing a key role in ensuring that our people practices are developed through effective collaboration with stakeholders and in line with our new corporate values.
You will be a member of the extended management team within the People Team; helping to shape our plans to deliver most impact.
About you
This role will require a postholder who can partner confidently with senior leaders and identify opportunities for strategic interventions and collaboration. Someone who is experienced in employee relations, building relationships, creating momentum and positive change. You will have a person centred approach and be able to provide clarity and simplicity to complex matters.
You will have a solid background operating autonomously at Partner level and the ability to capitalise on wider organisational people and culture initiatives; bringing them to life locally and delivering tangible outcomes.
You will be skilled at coaching others to deliver the best outcomes and have demonstrable experience of providing credible advice on employment law, change management and best practice.
A background in partnering in the third sector would be a distinct advantage but not essential.

Job Purpose
To act as a key link between the Finance and Fundraising to ensure that all fundraising income is accounted for correctly and in a timely manner. You will report into the Financial Controller and work together as part of the Finance Team. You will liaise predominately with the Fundraising Team alongside other stakeholders across The Children’s Trust.
Manage and account for Fundraising income
- Responsible for processing and coding incoming donations between the bank accounts, ledgers and the CRM system, ensuring that entries are up-to date, accurate and posted in a timely manner.
- Responsible for banking of cash and cheques daily at the Post Office and the bank.
- Responsible for processing Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) vouchers, credit card receipts and other charitable donation vouchers.
- Use the CRM system to identify the source and coding of donations.
- Work closely with the Supporter Care team and other teams to resolve queries.
- Responsible for restricted income, reconciling with Fundraising to ensure donations are allocated correctly.
- Ensure that collection box income is collected and reconciled.
- Issue, amend and cancel Fundraising invoices and ensure payment is received promptly.
- Process and reconcile World Pay, Just Giving and other forms of electronic giving receipts accordingly. Provide Fundraising with relevant reports.
- Reconcile shops weekly income to the till system reports.
- Obtain and process reports from PayPal in relation to goods purchased via the website.
- Manage PDQ and banking terminals / platforms.
Month end procedures
- Month end fundraising processes including accruing income and processing bought in goods journals.
- Retail journals including income and shops rent and rates expense release.
- Reconcile Restricted Funds, ensuring that each restricted donation is allocated to the correct Fundraising code.
- Reconcile Fundraising and Retail Gift aid.
- Work with Fundraising to chase unpaid invoices
Other general duties
- Lead with the Fundraising / ThankQ systems integration.
- Responsible for maintaining the Finance Fundraising SharePoint site.
- Manage Fundraising relationships ensuring relevant support is provided to meet all departments objectives.
- Raise ad hoc other income invoices and receipts such as rentals, events and student placements.
- Continually look to review and improve processes working with Fundraising and other stakeholders.
- Assist with the year-end stock-take and to ensure that the stock remaining, and stock sold reconcile for each shop.
- Assist with the annual audit.
- Arrange banking of foreign and mutilated currency.
- Provide ad hoc assistance to the rest of the Finance Team.

The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a specialist UK charity which provides expert care and support for refugees and people seeking asylum who have experienced extreme human cruelty such as torture or human trafficking. We work with hundreds of clients every year from all over the world. HBF delivers a specialist Model of Integrated Care that addresses the complex needs and vulnerabilities of survivors.
The expertise of the Foundation is renowned in the field. Through the Model of Integrated Care, the HBF offers survivors access to an individually tailored programme of specialist therapy, medical advisory services, legal protection including providing expert medico-legal documentation, welfare and housing support, and creative and skills activities within an integration programme. The Role
The role involves managing the effective administration of the Medio-Legal Report Services including liaising with our medico-legal report writers, with instructing solicitors and with clients. It involves scheduling appointments, preparing the documentation to be provided to the writers and dispatching the final reports.
It will involve managing MLR doctors and recruitment and management of volunteers to support these functions, in order to ensure the smooth processing of referrals for medico-legal reports and robust production of these, from the point of acceptance to delivery and invoicing.

About the opportunity
As an Impact Analyst, you will work within a team across 2-3 social impact projects initially. An example of one of the programmes you will become a key part of delivering is a community based, preventative emotional resilience and wellbeing pilot called Turning Tides.
Turning Tides is a two-year pilot programme testing innovative means of protecting and promoting the mental health and wellbeing of vulnerable young people along the North Yorkshire Coast. The programme leverages local organisations and their expertise, providing each young person a dedicated coach who works to identify a participant's strengths and ambitions – and takes a community-based asset development approach to match those goals with opportunities in the local area.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include.
· Overseeing all data related aspects of the programme including data collection, extraction, cleaning, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
· Gathering and analysing quantitative and qualitative data to measure the impact of service innovations for the programmes you are working across. Produce regular reports and insights that aid decision making to continuously improve programme design.
· Taking initiative to propose and implement relevant analyses to the project to maximise positive impact for participants with the programmes you are supporting.
· Building relationships and working at times directly with Delivery Partners (VCSE organisations who are delivering the frontline services for the programme) to ensure they are able to use the data systems accurately and effectively,
· Identifying opportunities for process automation and improving utilisation of management data by colleagues across the programme.
· Supporting the Programme Lead on all operational and project management needs, including coordination of team activities and providing other administrative support.
· Working with the Investment Lead and colleagues in Finance, to ensure invoices for outcomes achieved by participants within programmes are processed.
· Engaging with other analysts across BOP to share learnings from your own project and implement learnings from other projects in your own.

We're looking for an empathic and energetic Helpline Co-ordinator to join the Helpline Management Team. You'll be working closely with our Helpline Supervisor and Helpline ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor), co-ordinating the smooth running of all aspects of TST’s Helpline service supporting survivors of rape, sexual abuse, harassment and bullying.
You will also provide administrative, practical and emotional support for TST’s survivor forum meetings. Experience of supporting group sessions will be an advantage.
You will ideally have a background in recruiting, training and supporting volunteers. Effective communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential and you will be able to work sensitively and confidently with difficult topics.
You will be responsible for supporting and attending internal meetings, co-ordinating rotas and supporting the Helpline and Call Handlers during opening hours.
You will maintain accurate records and part of your role will include gathering statistics for monitoring and reporting processes.
You will ideally have previous experience of working on a helpline and/or working in the voluntary sector, but please don’t be put off from applying if you don’t meet all requirements. The right candidate will be an effective communicator in a friendly and professional manner, with excellent IT skills and a passion to support survivors.

Our service is partially staffed between the hours of 09:00 and 21:30, with a mixture of shifts to cover service delivery. You will be required to work every second weekend.

This is an exciting opportunity to join two well-established teams, YMCA Dialogue and the Single Point of Access (SPoA) service. We are looking for a Dialogue Project Administrator to provide vital administrative support to the SPoA team in Worthing, whilst also providing an important link between YMCA and SPoA and ensuring that both services work together effectively to provide wellbeing and mental health services for children and young people.
In delivering the role, you will provide efficient administrative and organisational support for YMCA Dialogue. This role will sit alongside colleagues from West Sussex County Council and Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust in the Single Point of Access (SPoA) for emotional wellbeing and mental health services for children and young people across West Sussex.
Hybrid role - working for a minimum of three days on site with the SPoA team in Worthing and the remaining days from home (Some travel across West Sussex may be required from time to time). Your expected working pattern will be Monday to Thursday, 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a Recovery Worker to join our women's only refuge in Hove. The service supports 18 women with a trauma informed approach using a psychologically informed environment model to provide high quality, person centred support to all our residents.
You will support with a range of frontline care and support activities within the service, in a varied role. You will work towards supporting residents/participants to achieve their desired goals/outcomes, and will ensure all residents/participants understand and have the right tools and resources for positive outcomes. You will also develop, participate in, and encourage residents/participants to participate in the running of activities, projects and events. There will be a focus on risk assessments and management, as well as housing and property management.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rota. This may include shifts between Monday to Friday 10:00 - 18:00, 08:00 - 16:00 and 14:30 - 22:00. You will be based on site.

About the Role
The Street Engagement Team is a multi-disciplinary team that provides person-led support to people experiencing street homelessness and interconnecting needs.
A day in this role is never the same – part of it will be spent on the street, offering support to people experiencing homelessness. You might be out with another member of the team, or with one of our specialist health partners like a homeless health nurse, or substance use worker.
You will also be supporting the Enhanced Practitioners with their caseloads day-to-day, responding to ad-hoc outreach referrals, and contributing to the overall running of the team in a duty capacity.
You will have experience in delivering a person-led, psychologically, gender and culturally informed service to people who are street homeless. You will be excellent at building and strengthening trust in relationships. You will be a problem solver, with a positive attitude towards change and service development.
