Job description

About us

Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

This role offers a great opportunity to join our Housing First Team, to help lead an established Housing First team. Working across London the team deliver person-centred, flexible, open-ended packages of support, advice and assistance to people who are/have been homeless, so that they can access and maintain a safe and secure home of their own.

Contract: 12-month fixed term contract, family leave cover.

Location - Crisis Skylight London, 50 – 52 Commercial Street, E1 6LT, with working from home and outreach in line with Crisis’ hybrid working

About the role

As the Housing First Manager, you will develop, lead, and manage a multi-disciplinary team, including coaches, a peer support worker and volunteers, to deliver high quality, safe and effective services to help individuals end their homelessness for good. There are also 2 team leaders who directly support the team and a clinical psychologist.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have initiative and knowledge of Housing First and Housing Led approaches and their role in systems change across homelessness services.  The ability to lead by example, inspire and lead a multi-disciplinary team working with people with complex and enduring needs, as well as experience of developing external and internal partnerships to gain the most positive outcome for people using the service.
