About the Team:
The Programmes Funding & Partnerships Team contributes to WaterAid's mission by cultivating and securing income from institutional and non-institutional partners for all WaterAid's programmes globally so that WaterAid can effectively deliver on its mission.
About the Role:
In this role, you will drive the production and analysis of the quarterly restricted funding KPI reports, use your analytical expertise to ensure data quality and accuracy, and identify opportunities to improve our restricted funding management information tools. You will also contribute to the socialisation of our underlying restricted funding business process, in collaboration with the wider team and the WaterAid Programme System team.
You'll also:
- Lead on the bi-annual development, production and detailed analysis of restricted funding Key Performance Indicator reports (KPIs) for restricted income generation and management with support from the Power Bi team and liaising with key stakeholders.
- Support the Head of PFP in funding data analysis for board reports and adhoc reporting requests.
- Lead on the production of restricted funding reports to support the organisational performance framework and/or as required to improve visibility and accountability of restricted funding performance
- Lead on identifying restricted funding data quality checks and controls to ensure WAPS restricted funding data is as clean as possible and liaise with the relevant WAPS team lead to support on regular data audits.
- Regular review and refresh of restricted funding management information tools to ensure they are useful and innovative.
- Ensure business processes for restricted income generation and management are up to date and inclusive of any new best practice approaches such as cost recovery and co-financing management initiatives
- Ensure all RFP training documents/guides contain up to date WaterAid Programme System (WAPS) references to reflect any changes in system protocols.
- Work with the RFC Advisors, Finance, Strategic Partnerships and other teams as needed to establish how relevant sub-processes and systems currently work or do not work, how they may need to change and how other changes may impact them. Propose solutions, implement, document and communicate them.
About You:
To be successful, you'll need:
- Ability to use, understand and manage complex data sources: ability to extract data and identify and resolve inconsistencies that will impact on data accuracy and financial KPIs
- Strong Microsoft Excel/numerical capability and good PowerPoint skills
- Capacity to provide robust analysis; ability to present complex information/data simply to a range of audiences
- Background and strong practice in fundraising and funding contract management
- Understanding of participative training techniques for capacity building
- Demonstrable organisational skills, with the ability to work in a matrix management culture, ensuring that projects are delivered: ability to work proactively and initiate projects/activity with appropriate independence.
- Proven ability to build consensus, deal with ambiguity and collaborate with colleagues locally and remotely, across diverse cultures and aims.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work across different cultures

As Public Engagement Officer, you’ll play an important role making this vision a reality by engaging with churches through regional & national speaking engagements, networks, events, and new fundraising products with a view to help them raise funds for All We Can/Y Care to contribute to the overall fundraising target of the Acquisition Team. - Seek and fulfil a variety of engagements in the London and the South East which engender loyalty and acquire short- and long-term income contributing to the fundraising target of £405k per year.
- Maximise income from Churches and Events
- Participate in All We Can’s presence at several conferences and events each year, inspiring current and new supporters through stalls, workshops, and stage time.
- Build and develop new strategic relationships with ministers, lay workers, and key volunteers in Methodist Churches across the country, encouraging them into deeper income-generating engagement with All We Can.
- Collaborate with others in the Public Engagement Team to develop new resources and fundraising products to engage supporters and generate income
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have experience of community fundraising involving relationship-building, planning, and generating a response to a call to action with experience of community fundraising in a Christian context being desirable.
- Be a passionate and convincing public speaker, with experience of speaking/presenting in a Christian context; being a qualified preacher and/or worship leader in a church tradition would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
- Have experience of generating and following up on new opportunities. Experience of project management in a professional context will be an advantage but is not a requirement.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to communicate both stories and data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability and willingness to communicate to diverse audiences. To be comfortable communicating to Christian groups and individuals.

The HR and Team Coordinator will help ensure that Purposeful Ventures runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities and duties

Job summary
The Office Administrator plays an important role in PSTT’s central administration, operations and office functions. They are the public first point of contact for general enquiries. They are responsible for various areas of administration involving our staff, Fellows, trustees and external organisations. They play a logistical role in several important areas of PSTT activity: supporting planning, logistics and key processes for our College Conference, awards, College Bulletin and other events and activities. The role also involves the collection, collation and maintenance of essential PSTT data sources.
This would be a great opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and/or for someone seeking their first post in the charity sector.

Job responsibilities

We have a vacancy for a Bounce Back Worker to join our team.
About the Project
Herts Mind Network (HMN) has formed a partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT) to deliver a one-to-one outreach service for people who are in hospitals across Hertfordshire.
This is a new dual diagnosis arm of the project based at Lister Hospital working in A&E departments and hospital wards facilitating hospital discharge for people with a mental health and/or drugs and alcohol need.
About the Role:
The Bounce Back Worker will be based at Lister Hospital and HMN Centres, promoting joint working between Lister Hospital staff and HMN, creating a seamless pathway into community support for clients recovering from mental ill health.
The aims of the Bounce Back service are; to provide up to 16 sessions of emotional and practical support, advice and information to patients. We will visit patients on the ward and continue the sessions in the local community and in patients homes once discharged. We will facilitate a smooth and timely hospital discharge.
The Bounce Back Worker will work with the HMN Community Outreach Teams and the hospital staff to ensure patients are offered advice, information, and holistic support. The Bounce Back worker will use a recovery orientated approach working with patients on the ward, and in the local community, including in people’s homes. The recovery approach includes empathy, warmth, acceptance, authenticity, compassion and humanity.
Key Responsibilities
- To receive referrals from the ward teams at Lister Hospital and other appropriate hospitals across Hertfordshire.
- To manage and prioritise all administration tasks associated with the service.
- To build strong relationships with staff at Lister Hospital and Mental Health Teams across Hertfordshire.
- To work in partnership with other agencies.
- To establish a strong presence on the ward, working at the hospital when required.
- Ensure a direct community service is in place which encourages, motivates and builds patients self-esteem and confidence. This will include goal setting and support with social and practical skills development.
- To assist patients to access appropriate services and community resources within the local community, accompanying patients to attend appointments where this aids ongoing recovery.
- To work with key staff within the hospital to ensure that vulnerable person’s cases are monitored and risks evaluated.
- To work with HMN staff in other services in order to make onward referrals to other projects.
- Liaise with appropriate HPFT staff to ensure that individuals are assessed for personal budgets to support with any longer term needs.
- Support individuals to develop sustainable local social networks, both through our HMN Wellbeing Centres and other community services and resources.

The role:
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Internal Audit Officer to join our Risk & Assurance team. Reporting to the Internal Audit Lead you will have responsibility for planning and delivering assurance reviews across our school feeding programmes worldwide. As Internal Audit Officer, you will have an amazing opportunity to develop your skills in internal audit, witness first-hand the impact of our feeding programmes and influence the development of processes that ensure we keep our promise to feed each child every school day.
Duties:
The role is primarily focused on planning and delivering work for a structured plan of reviews across the network. As a junior member of the Internal Audit team, you will conduct these reviews and follow up of any agreed actions with the support and coaching of the Internal Audit Lead. This is a remote role however there will be between 5 and 6 audit field trips per year, each lasting between 1-2 weeks, so you must be happy to travel regularly as part of your role.

About you:

1-2 years audit experience and good knowledge of the charity sector would be desirable but not essential. Well House is a crisis house supported accommodation service that supports individuals for between 14 and 28 days as an alternative to requiring hospital admission for their mental health needs. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure members of the local community are able to access critical mental health support at all hours. Can you help people through the cost of living crisis?
We are looking for exceptional new colleagues to join our great team at the Money Advice Trust and become debt advisers, to provide free debt advice to people contacting our National Debtline service by telephone. If you are self-motivated, have high resilience, able to problem solve, have outstanding customer-focused communication skills and you want to help people through the cost-of-living crisis and beyond, then the Debt Adviser is the role for you.
National Debtline is an award-winning free debt advice service run by the Money Advice Trust, an independent charity founded in 1991 to help people across the UK to tackle their debts and manage their money with confidence.
As a debt adviser you will provide advice, support, and money management help to people struggling with problem debt. This will include helping callers to form a budget, prioritise their debts and identify possible solutions, in compliance with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations. You will be required to fact find, analyse and work out solutions for the client.
This is a role for resilient candidates who are consistent in approach and can demonstrate that they are able to deal with subjects that can be highly emotive and sensitive. Training and assessments are intense and there is a requirement to manage your own development during and outside working hours to stay up to date with new legislation in this arena. You will need initiative to research some of the finer technical points of debt advice. The calls we receive and productivity targets you need to achieve are challenging and you will be dealing with vulnerable clients daily who may be experiencing poor mental health or at risk of suicide.

Experience in a telephony customer service role and giving telephone advice would be an advantage but not essential..

You must be able to work a shift pattern between our service hours of 9.00am – 8.00pm with a one in five Saturday working rota (9.30 am – 1.00 pm). Shifts and Saturday work are subject to review and change. We also have part time roles available working a minimum of 27.5 hours per week.
We offer full training and extensive support. Working hours during the initial training period will be 9am to 5pm, with the majority being mandatory on-site training days at our newly refurbished offices in Birmingham. After training you will move either to office / hybrid working - your choice.
You must be able to commit to training full time for the first 10 weeks of employment.
