The role of Legal Assistant reports to the Director of Legal & Governance and you will assist them in ensuring the legal function of the organisation runs efficiently and smoothly by providing a range of support, including preparing various legal documents such as grants and service agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and legal requirements and working closely with colleagues across the organisation.

You will contribute to the smooth functioning of legal processes and ensure that colleagues and external stakeholders receive an efficient service.

About the Role

The role will involve assessing needs and offering one to one support to service users to enable them to begin the process of improving their mental health and wellbeing and to providing clarity on services and pathways available in the area. The role will be part of a larger Crisis Café team made up of Crisis Recovery Workers, Crisis Peer Support Workers, Team Leaders and volunteers.

Service Delivery

• Deliver crisis focussed 1:1s and ensure outcomes which supports individuals experiencing a mental health crisis in Biggleswade & Central Bedfordshire, in line with Mind BLMK’s agreed crisis service and requirements as well as contract requirements.
• Assessing need and suitability for the service in line with the access to services process, and undertaking 1:1s.
• Contribute to maintaining an effective volunteer workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (workload planning and support).
• Carry out Cash Handling, Health and Safety and Data Collection responsibilities as directed by the Team Leader in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, requirements and guidance.

The Advice Service Manager is responsible for all advice team operations and developing the Kinship advice pathway.

You’ll ensure that kinship carers are able to access the information and advice they need in an accessible and consistent way within a clear operational framework.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver high quality, targeted and tailored advice to kinship carers in England and Wales.
• Develop a service framework that delivers a consistent service within clear timeframes.
• Set out clear expectations for enquiry response across all channels.
• Manage daily advice line operations, including work on cases, data and continuous improvement.
• Act as deputy designated safeguarding officer (DDSO) providing clear advice on actions needed when safeguarding concerns are raised.

You must a have a BA or MA in counselling or psychotherapy with post qualification experience and also be accredited either through the BACP or UKCP.

KWC is a highly regarded and well-established charity providing counselling and therapy within a safe and caring environment for women of all backgrounds in and around Kingston upon Thames.

We are now looking for a Head of Operations and Service Delivery to help us develop and deliver our core support, information and training services in line with our new three-year strategy. The South East London Suicide Bereavement Service is a collaboration between South East London Mind, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, and Mind in Bexley. The service provides vital emotional and practical support to adults and young people who have lost a loved one to suicide. You will be joining a supportive team who share a passion for working with people during some of the most difficult experiences of their lives.

We are looking for a compassionate, reflective and resilient individual to fill the key role of Suicide Bereavement Support Worker. Your primary responsibilities will be to deliver one-to-one emotional and practical support and co-facilitate occasional bereavement support groups. This role involves building relationships with people from all walks of life and managing your own caseload. You will have ownership over your work, while being supported through regular supervision and reflective practice.

With experience providing emotional support, including to those who have experienced bereavement, you will be an excellent communicator with good assessment and support planning skills. You will also be highly organised and able to manage a busy and varied workload. The ability to adapt your approach to a wide variety of people, ensuring that support is inclusive and sensitive to service users’ cultural and religious backgrounds, is essential. This role involves meeting clients in the community, including carrying out home visits. Although it is possible to fulfil the travel requirements of the role by public transport, this would best suit someone with access to their own mode of transport, such as a car or bicycle.

Role Summary:

Global Health 5050 is seeking a hands-on Head of Operations to support the professional running of the charity. The successful candidate for this post is expected to play an integral role in contributing to the growth of GH5050, as well as taking a leading role in managing the day-to-day and longer-term operations of the charity.

Person specification:

The Growth Team is a newly created team at Enable. They will be responsible for accelerating growth and development throughout our services and bringing Enable’s Strategic Plan to life! Main Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Lead the Fundraising workstream, under the strategic direction of the Leadership Team, with the aim of diversifying funding streams and maximising outcomes 
• Provide comprehensive market analysis and research regarding future prospects from trusts and foundations, corporates and statutory sources
• Work closely with Enable’s various services to support fundraising efforts and providing central communication and coordination between internal services in relation to tracking funding/bids/grants etc 
• Development of pipeline of funding opportunities
• Future line management duties
• Any other relevant duties that the Head of Growth & Branding may see fit

Skills and Experience: 

• Proven Fundraising experience within a not for profit environment 
• Networking skills, ideally with a pre-existing network of funder relationships
• Passion for fundraising, project work and a drive to positively impact the community
• Excellent research skills, which can be used to identify new funders, assess the external market, and understand our users’ needs 
• Experience with writing and managing bids and grants 
• Ability to work independently using your own initiative and prioritise effectively
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external
• Proficient in MS applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint

An opportunity for a Funding Manager (healthcare) has arisen in a fantastic charity dedicated to supporting improvements to healthcare and transformative research for local health benefit in East London, and beyond.

Location: London. Hybrid working, 3 days at home, 2 in the office.

Salary: From £44,000 (dependant on experience)

As Funding Manager (Healthcare), you will work closely with applicants within key healthcare settings in developing applications and managing a varied portfolio of prior funding, as well as supporting the delivery of the Charity’s healthcare funding strategy.

The Funding Manager (Healthcare) role will be key in ensuring the charity fund impactful healthcare projects. This includes making the most of funding resources by facilitating the assessment and funding of new grants, managing a proportion of current healthcare funding portfolio, and contributing to monitoring progress of a range of healthcare projects.

You will be an integral part of the busy and ambitious Funding & Impact team, building relationships with healthcare professionals and researchers and working closely with a number of other Charity teams to deliver impact.

The successful candidate will have experience of supporting the development of successful projects, ideally within an NHS/healthcare setting or Higher Educational Institute and will demonstrate knowledge and show an understanding of the healthcare and life sciences sector. You will have experience of grants administration/management/operations in a healthcare, academic, funding agency or charity setting and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills alongside the ability to build strong relationships with health professionals and healthcare delivery staff.

About the role

We are looking for someone with experience in facilities and contract management, and the drive and desire to find solutions and complete projects to a high standard. You’ll need to be highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to multi task. You must be a compelling advocate for the work of the Trust.

This role manages the Trust’s office facilities, ensuring they are safe, clean and support a positive working environment for staff and volunteers. The post holder will manage contracts, striving to secure competitive prices, support with IT alongside the Trust's IT service provider, and identify and coordinate improvements to the Trust buildings. This role also manages the Business Support Officer.

The Facilities Manager role is for a 10 month fixed-term maternity cover with the possibility of an extension. We would consider between 30-37.5 hours per week, worked across 4 or 5 days. Other options may be considered for the right candidate.
