PRHA’s Support Teams are seeking three enthusiastic Enhanced Housing Officers to work with our amazing residents.
Providence Row Housing Association has been helping homeless people in East London since 1860. We provide social housing along with excellent services that aim to support homeless people with complex needs and enable their recovery. We remain committed to our East London roots and currently serve the communities in Tower Hamlets, Hackney and the City of London.
Our Enhanced Housing Officers provide a housing service to hostel residents who find it difficult to maintain and sustain their accommodation. You will be working in partnership with a wide range of other services to ensure that our residents are motivated and supported through pre- and post- sign up, to claim benefits and grants, manage their accommodation, report repairs and complaints, access education, and develop financial skills.
Enhanced Housing Officers also conduct surveys of residents view and opinions, assist with audits and reporting on the service, help to ensure compliance with H&S regulation and best practice, and work with a Support Team which promotes person centred coproduced approaches.
You need to have experience of working with homeless people with complex needs, have a good understanding of housing management and Health and Safety regulation, be competent with computer systems, and comfortable completing regular performance reports. The Enhanced Housing Officers is a day shift based role with evening and weekend working. Depending on the service, you may also be required to do sleep-in shifts.

We have a vacancy for a Flourish (Refugee and Asylum Seekers) Community Outreach Worker to join our team, supporting refugees and asylum seekers in the community with multiple needs who have mental health as a primary need, through providing advice, information and holistic support.
About the Service
This is an exciting and reasonably new project, ‘Flourish’ – Mental Health for Refugees in Hertfordshire, which is a highly flexible and responsive outreach service developed to meet the needs of refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine & other refugees in Hertfordshire. The aim of the service will be to support refugees in the community with multiple needs who have mental health support as a primary need.
The countywide holistic service also provides emotional wellbeing support for families who are hosting refugees.
Purpose of Post
- To provide advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to clients with mental ill health.
- Support to build social networks and reduce isolation whilst settling into the Hertfordshire community this includes building a sustainable and empowering peer support network and building confidence and self-esteem.
- To ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
- Embed a person centred and solution focused approach in all aspects of the role.
- To work in a trauma informed way including awareness of the 6 principles of trauma informed practice, putting the clients emotional and practical needs at the forefront of this work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with all key delivery partners across the system to ensure the service is responsive, inclusive and easy to access.
- To take allocated referrals from any agencies including the Community Navigators, Borough and District Councils, Herts Help, Housing Providers, Herts Welcomes Refugees, the Refugee Council and self-referrals including walk in contacts at any of the Mind wellbeing centres across the county.
- Hold a caseload of clients, supporting for approx. 10 weeks
- To create a safe space for the individual to be able to explore their feelings and improve their understanding around their mental health.
- To complete a holistic needs assessment.
- Ensure all person centred risk assessments and support plans are completed.
- Proactively recognise the indicators of deteriorating mental health and facilitate appropriate action, whilst liaising with relevant agencies.
- Support clients to build their emotional resilience, promoting self-management through building an understanding of their own triggers/coping strategies.
- To provide safeguarding intervention support. This will include responding to problems, which pose an immediate risk.
- To work alongside translators when required to provide a robust package of support for clients.
- To accompany clients to initial visits and appointments as necessary in order to ensure the sustained use of existing support services in the Borough.
- To provide advocacy services to clients experiencing mental ill health.
- To assist clients to access appropriate mental health services, housing/tenancy services and other services according to assessed needs.
- To establish effective pathways across a variety of agencies to maximise and provide effective partnership working, working with other third sector and VCSE organisations to provide signposting and continuity of care.

The Funding Management team is looking for a Funding Manager, in Belfast.
This role is responsible for all aspects of funding management across a portfolio of restricted funds, ensuring that we are meeting all the Funders and The Trusts requirements. Working effectively across teams to maximise income, increase performance and ensure compliance, to allow The Trust to maximise its support to young people.
You will use your contract/funding management skills to ensure that we are able to maximise income, increase performance and ensure compliance. By working across teams and drawing on your time management, leadership, communication, governance, audit and problem solving skills you will ensure that expenditure claims and reports are compiled accurately and in a timely fashion, and that we comply with all reporting and evidencing requirements for output monitoring.
You will to ensure that The Trust has accurate monthly accounts by preparing drawdown, accrual and deferral figures for the monthly finance return and regularly reviewing the Debtors Report to ensure sufficient cash flow and will manage all funder and internal audits and ensure recommendations are acted upon, sharing best practice across the team.

This role is an opportunity to work for Mind BLMK as part of the peer support service, you will have the opportunity to use your own personal experience of mental health challenges to coordinate the running of a Peer Support Service in Milton Keynes, provide information and guidance, and implement referral pathways to the wider Recovery Service.
Our peer support and recovery services are a key element of the services we offer, and we are looking for someone who can use their own lived experiences to provide support to help individuals achieve their goals. If you feel like you would be suitable for this role, we can’t wait to hear from you.
Key Activities
- Operate a Peer Support service including peer support groups and mentoring across Milton Keynes and ensure outcomes which supports individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs in line with Mind BLMK’s agreed Peer Support model and requirements as well as contract requirements.
- Carry out assessments on individuals’ suitability for Mind BLMK’s Peer Support service in line with the Access to Service procedure
- Work with the Peer Support Manager to ensure regular involvement of service users, volunteers and staff on local service delivery, organisational matters and wider mental health strategies
- Maintain an effective workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (recruitment, line management, workload planning, support and development of Peer Support Workers and volunteers).
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Mind BLMK team and relevant key post holders.
- Provide the infrastructure Peer Support Workers need to deliver the support safely and confidently.
- Hold responsibility for all Cash Handling, Health and Safety and Data Collection responsibilities as directed by the Team Leader in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, requirements and guidance.

About the role:
As the Team Manager, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting our frontline staff, ensuring the highest standards of trauma-informed, recovery-focused care for our residents. This position requires a balance of strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups. Working closely with the Service Manager, you’ll provide day-to-day guidance and strategic support, maintaining SHP’s standards and fulfilling contractual requirements.
In this role, you’ll deputise for the Service Manager when needed, sharing responsibility for delivering compassionate, effective support that empowers women on their journey to recovery. A high-level understanding of the issues faced by women affected with homelessness, substance misuse, and the effects of complex trauma—including violence against women and girls (VAWG)—is essential. You will engage with clients across the spectrum of recovery, from those in pre-contemplation stages to those who are committed to positive change.
This role requires a strong commitment to making a meaningful impact, combining strategic oversight with empathetic, hands-on leadership to drive effective service delivery.
About you:
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of complex issues effecting women including DV, VAWG, Mental Health, Women’s Health and Substance Misuse.
- Experience of, or a strong awareness and understanding of staff and service management and the ability to lead, motivate and develop the skills of both staff and service users, and to motivate and manage a quality service committed to achieving excellence.
- Understanding of Housing Management and compliance, especially in relation to License Agreements, Excluded License Agreements and Assured Shorthold Tenancies.

About Share
Share Psychotherapy is one of the city’s major mental health charities. Established over fifty years ago, we offer medium- to long-term therapy at nominal fees to people on low incomes. We deliver high quality services offering a range of psychodynamic and creative therapies and modalities. Around 80% of our clients have annual incomes of less than £12k, and we are therefore working at the vital intersection of psychological distress and poverty in the city.
Having moved to our new city centre location in 2023 we are now well established in our new premises and ready to capitalise on the benefits the new premises and location offer to the organisation. The role
The Executive Manager is a new senior leadership role, leading on the organisations’ fundraising, partnership and service development and supporting the board in all aspects of organisational governance.

Service Development

About the role
The post holder will be supporting the Project Coordinator to deliver the My Health Matters project. The role will focus on identifying and addressing systemic health inequalities across Greater Manchester, by utilising a peer research approach.
The post will be based in our office at Swan St but will require travel across Greater Manchester and occasional travel to other cities including possible overnights.

We are hiring one GROW trainee that will sit within our Family Service alongside our Children and Families Support Workers and Housing Rights Worker.
The successful applicant will hold a caseload of families, acting as key worker, providing them with advice and support to help with resettlement or to prevent homelessness. The role will primarily focus on those households where there needs to be some tailored intervention around the needs of the children and/or parents to stabilise the housing situation and to enable the family to thrive. This intensive, tailored support is provided to the child and family as part of a whole family approach in a 121 setting and potentially through group work.
