What you will be doing:

This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible, enthusiastic and experienced Administrator to play a key role in supporting our skilled and supportive multi-disciplinary team at the unique setting of Little Bridge House.

This role is responsible for the efficient running of the administration function and will support the Head of Care, the hospice Doctor’s and the care team with all aspects of administrative and secretarial duties. Main responsibilities of the post include dealing with incoming calls from families and professionals and assisting with the administration of the referral process for children.

Duties will also include maintenance of the care database, producing reports and maintaining the records of the children that use their service and supervise paid and voluntary administrative support as required.

The Successful Candidate:

Applicants must be able to work on their own initiative, able to prioritise workloads, have an eye for detail, have strong all round communication skills, and experience of organising a busy office. Strong IT skills including working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as experience using databases is essential.

We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take up a fixed-term role as Centre Leader at our IntoUniversity centre in Manchester North. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery. the wayside when budgets are critically tight. Our pilot Starlight Health Play Specialist project 
has now demonstrated the positive impact of play staff for babies, children and families.

practitioners. Although the setup of the project is done, there is lots of learning still to do and 
the manager of this work will facilitate and maximise this learning. 
Starlight Health Play Specialists not only create the time, space and opportunity for children to 
play, whether that’s for preparation for procedures, management of anxiety, entertainment 
during long periods of boredom or aiding recovery. They carry out on-the-ground research, 
measure impact of activities, sharing their learning with us and help us to really understand 
what makes a brilliant Health Play Specialist and develop standards and training.They are

you, our new Play Specialist Programme Manager, come in.

The London Programme Coordinator will be responsible for managing a caseload of up to seven partner schools, attending and coordinating weekly tutoring sessions, developing relationships with pupils, school staff and volunteer tutors and collecting data for monitoring and evaluation purposes. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring sessions to ensure effective and impactful programme delivery. 

Duties and responsibilities 

• Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage and effectively communicate with all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; leading weekly face to face and online tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance.

School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. Young Marketeers

This much-loved programme was started in London in 2012. It is now running in 12 cities across England and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund for three years.  The programme provides hands-on opportunities for children from primary schools to grow fruit and veg from seed to sell at their local market. Young Marketeers is also a platform for School Food Matters to promote food education to schools and communities as a way to support children to live happy and healthy lives.  Children learn the art of growing veg from seed, and market traders will share their secrets on how to create a winning market stall.  Primary schools will be visited by our gardener in March/April and then again in May/June and receive further tips on how to ensure a bumper crop. And in July, they head to the market to sell their produce, and to meet the mayor!

· Recruit four schools to take part in Young Marketeers

· Build and maintain relationships with teachers, teaching assistants and senior leaders to ensure the smooth running of the project

All Complex Needs Practitioners work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings. The caseload will include a mixture of community and multi-agency referral pathways including health and social care. A core part of the role will be working with people and their families to address holistic support needs across all aspects of the person’s wellbeing. This could include diverse work related to knife crime, 5 step family work, exploitation, physical and emotional health as well as substance misuse.

An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies).  Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. Experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and engaging effectively with clients in a variety of settings is essential. You’ll also need a flexible approach, excellent record keeping and report writing skills and a willingness to work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings, on an outreach basis, with a central hub base at our head office.

This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week.

The Role

The Trusts & Foundations Manager (maternity cover) will be an experienced and accomplished Trusts & Foundations fundraiser, who will secure £500k+ in grants towards the Team’s £3.5 million projects income target, enabling the Charity to deliver its exciting capital and activity Masterplan.

Skillful at assimilating and interpreting complex information to craft compelling, high-level funding proposals, self-motivated and tenacious, the post holder will manage a personal portfolio of T&Fs, researching, developing and submitting high-quality, personalised five and six-figure funding proposals to contribute towards individual project targets.

Working as part of a small Team of experienced T&F and major donor fundraisers, the Trusts & Foundations Manager will play a key role in developing and managing the funding pipeline, delivering exceptional donor cultivation and stewardship to secure the income needed and establish a strong and loyal donor base for the Charity.

The post holder will have impeccable interpersonal and presentation skills and be comfortable representing the Charity and engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Charity to achieve its strategic goals by generating the fundraising income required to deliver core activity and development works
• Work with the Major Gifts Team to build, manage and implement the funding pipeline, conducting research, writing briefing notes / cultivation plans, maintaining CRM records and producing regular progress reports
• Manage a personal portfolio of T&Fs: conduct research, develop and implement bespoke cultivation plans, prepare and deliver high-level funding proposals and provide exceptional stewardship
• Work with colleagues across the organisation to monitor project progress and help colleagues to understand and support the fundraising process
• Deputise for the Head of Major Gifts as required
• Support the Head of Major Gifts and the Head of Impact & Learning to plan and deliver project impact reports for funders
• Manage the Fundraising Officer, supporting them to manage their own portfolio of T&Fs, reviewing and providing constructive feedback on funding applications and ensuring that they provide efficient administrative support to the Major Gifts Team

Person Specification:

Experience and Knowledge

• Experienced T&F fundraiser with a good working knowledge of the sector
• Demonstrable success of securing five and six figure grants
• Expert bid writer
• Experience of managing senior stakeholders
• Basic understanding of logic / theory of change models and social impact measures
• Experience of using a CRM system
• Knowledge of charity financial governance and gift management processes
• Experience of business planning and managing a budget
• Some experience of people management is desirable
