THE OPPORTUNITY
The Northern Powergrid Foundation has been established in support of our mission of becoming an anchor organisation in the communities we serve. It commits to funding projects across our network that support energy resilience initiatives and helps those in our local communities who are most affected by changes in our economy, environment and society because of the shifting energy landscape.

SCOPE OF THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of the Foundation and working with the trustees, you will provide operational management relating to all aspects of the Foundation. To work with other key partners to extend the scope of services and appropriate grants that we can offer beneficiaries and clearly demonstrate and promote the positive impact of the Foundation.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain existing and develop new partnerships with statutory, voluntary and private sector organisations for the benefit of our communities.
· Develop and manage initiatives, events and campaigns, working with respective Northern Powergrid teams to increase engagement in our mission and ensure we can measure the impact.
· Be a known face of the Northern Powergrid Foundation, recognised in our communities to build a positive brand image.

· Manage all operational activity of the Foundation according to the strategic direction provided by the Board including grant making, stakeholder management, communications and marketing.

About the role
The British Science Association's mission is to transform the diversity and inclusivity of science. The BSA’s community engagement programmes focus on reaching these groups.
The Community Engagement Officer will provide support in delivering the BSA’s community engagement programmes. This role would suit someone with experience of supporting community engagement programmes.
Key responsibilities: Community Engagement programmes
The main responsibilities are to:
- Support the delivery of the British Science Week Community Grant Scheme and the creation/dissemination of the British Science Week Community Activity Pack

Our services help children who’ve been abused, protect children at risk and find the best ways to prevent child abuse from ever happening. We also give support to thousands of adults and young people in need through the NSPCC Helpline and Childline. We work with schools up and down the country through our Speak Out Stay Safe programme, helping children to keep themselves safe. And our projects such as Together for Childhood help children who’ve experienced abuse, support parents, and work to transform the way communities come together to prevent child cruelty.
Our local services support children and families throughout the UK and Channel Islands. We provide therapeutic services to help children move on from abuse, as well as supporting parents and families in caring for their children. We help professionals make the best decisions for children and young people, and support communities to help prevent abuse from happening in the first place
Job purpose
Responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the NSPCC’s sex and relationships education service ‘Talk Relationships’, in line with our strategy, to time and in budget.

Role Overview:
This role is based at our Living Space Community Centre in Waterloo, SE1, which is a vibrant and inclusive centre dedicated to promoting free to access youth activities, it has 2 halls for hire and 5 small non-profit business offices upstairs. The Community Centre Manager will proactively take the lead working with staff, stakeholders, partners, hirers and the local community raising awareness of BOST’s work, animating the centre, ensuring its sustainability.

About Bankside Open Spaces Trust:
Bankside Open Spaces Trust is an environmental and volunteering charity. We were launched in 2000 by a group of local people with an aim to improve the SE1 area, making it a greener, more beautiful place to live and work.

About the role
At Breast Cancer Now, we’re looking for a creative and proactive Press and PR officer to join our ambitious team, as we continue to cement our place as the ‘go-to’ press office for breast cancer and position the charity as the leading expert in the field.
This varied and exciting role is critical in helping the charity build its profile through effective and compelling PR and media relations. The post holder will plan, deliver and respond to opportunities across all areas of the charity’s work, from highlighting our world-leading breast cancer research and raising awareness of our public health messaging to promoting our fundraising appeals and support services and supporting our policy and campaigning work.
The post holder will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including our nurses, researchers, and corporate partners, alongside building strong and trusted relationships with national and regional journalists to secure high-quality targeted media coverage. Every day will be an opportunity to make a positive difference for everyone affected by breast cancer.
About you
An excellent communicator, you’ll have a strong working knowledge of the UK’s media landscape and experience of either delivering impactful PR and media relations, in-house or at an agency, or of working in a news environment.
You’ll be innovative, creative and considerate in your approach to raising the profile of the charity and all its areas of focus, bringing fresh ideas to engage the media and always putting the patient voice at the heart of your work.
You’ll be confident in building relationships with journalists and seek to secure compelling coverage across all national and regional print, broadcast and online media. You’ll collaborate with internal colleagues from an array of teams to deliver powerful results, and work closely with external partners, researchers, and service providers.

You will be someone with experience in the creation of varied and high-quality digital and print content both written and visual, in particular e-learning courses, as well as a passion for developing a deep understanding of our users and their needs.

The Role:
As the Director of Finance and Resources, you will:
- Provide strategic direction for the finance function, ensuring compliance with legislation and industry best practices.

About the role

The role will help to build, shape and deliver our In Memory Giving programme over the 12 months of this maternity cover role. Senior Direct Marketing Officer
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Direct Marketing Officer to manage and deliver our Cash and Raffle programme. Within this role, you will be responsible for the recruitment and retention of cash and raffle donors and for managing the two Direct Marketing Officers on the projects to deliver this area of our programme.
We are looking for someone to maximise income in line with set targets and within the context of the overall Cash and Raffle programme.
