The Role:
- The PR Manager is accountable for the planning, development and delivery of high performing UK wide integrated Public Relations (PR) activity.
- This role is responsible for leading, inspiring and developing a team of 3 Senior PR Officers to deliver the PR strategy, through the work of the Trust.
- The PR Manager will work collaboratively with the Social Media Manager and Influencer Manager to integrate and amplify shared activity to enable maximum exposure for the Trust.
- The role is also responsible for issues management, safeguarding the Trust’s reputation alongside the Lead Social and PR Manager.
- This role sits within the Social, PR and Influencing team, led by the Lead Social and PR Manager. This team is part of the wider Brand and Comms Directorate.
- This role includes a mix of working from home and at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Attendance at Head Office in Grantham is expected at least once per month, along with other visits as required. The role will also involve visiting sites and events to support PR activity.
The Candidate:

About the role
As Fundraising Assistant you will have the opportunity to learn about many different arears of fundraising, including generating income from charitable trusts, statutory sources, individuals, schools and parishes. You will also work closely with our project teams and see the direct impact of your efforts, making a real difference to the lives of children and families.
The fundraising team is also actively involved in service delivery and this role will be instrumental in helping to distribute gifts and food to hundreds of disadvantaged families at Christmas, as well as helping families in crisis.

About the team
Part of our Strategy Enablement Directorate, the Data & Insight Team delivers high quality data and database management, administrative services and business insight to the department and other teams across Shelter. Custodians of supporter data for its full life cycle, running through everything we do is a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data quality and embedding a culture of standards, both in terms of compliance and best practice across the department. About the role
The Lead Insight Analyst plays a crucial role in leading the production of meaningful narrative & insight to enable Shelter to effectively measure and evidence performance and impact. About you
We’re looking for a motivated self-starter to join the Data and Insight team as a Lead Insight and Business Intelligence Analyst. You’ll have advanced experience of data management processes and principles, as well as being experienced in the use of PowerBI and other data analytics/visualisation tools (such as Tableau, Google Analytics, etc.). Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are a must, as is the ability to effectively communicate and write for both a technical and a user audience. As well as this, we’re looking for an individual who has the ability to lead and manage a small team, and proven ability to engage and work cross-functionally.

- Provide casework support across the full range of welfare benefits to Carers.
- Act for the Carers where necessary by calculating benefit entitlement, negotiating, drafting or writing letters.

IMPACT YOU WILL HAVE
This role will involve designing the 'Missing Employees' service, encompassing the scoping and structuring process, becoming the subject matter expert for the charity, and developing their menu of support to be able to offer casework support and guidance to organisations and individuals affected. This will involve working directly with adults at risk who are missing or who have experience of being missing.
You will develop guidance, policy and learning and development in this new area for the charity. You will form a new pioneering service through the building of expertise in this area and will lead in delivering support to individuals and organisations when someone goes missing, providing advice, advocacy and a confidential listening ear. You will reach out to organisations and HR leads to offer training and consultancy, so they are best prepared for missing employee experiences.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Service development
• Scope requirements for the service by working with the project steering group, identifying gaps in existing service provision and working with teams across the charity.
• Work with the Head of Service Development to design the service, including structure, design capacity, resource needs, KPIs and delivery methods.
• Develop the charity's expertise around employment law regarding missing, including policy and impact of those affected.
• Work closely through co-production with families, adults who have been missing and companies who have experienced a missing colleague, seeking feedback, sharing their experiences and developing the service and tools it needs.
• Build relationships with organisations and steward them to become financial supporters of the charity.
• Work with the Business Development Team and Corporate Fundraising team to create user journeys for companies from advice to financial support to the charity.
Service delivery
• Provide confidential consultation, advice and guidance to; employers, colleagues, adults who are returning to work after being missing and family members communicating with employers.
• Proactively contact organisations when it becomes clear they have a missing employee.
• Work with organisations, providing consultation and needs assessment, so HR professionals, line managers, and colleagues are trained and have processes in place to manage ‘Missing Employee’ incidents.
