Summary of Role
We are looking for someone to join Choose Love who has demonstrable experience in designing, setting up and maintaining a user-friendly and efficient supporter database and who has a deep commitment to positively impacting the lives of displaced people around the world. The successful candidate will also have strong analytical skills and be passionate about understanding trends and patterns from our donations, which can help us increase our fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection, Management and Analysis:

Maintain and oversee all Choose Love data, ensuring all data is accurate, up-to-date and clean.

Work with the digital strategist and head of communications to scope and assess the most effective and efficient ways for Choose Love to collect, process, analyse, and report on data, feeding it into the mid and long-term strategy.

Work closely with external suppliers, leading on data management and systems.

Support finance team and digital strategist in tracking donations to key fundraising appeals, including emergency fundraisers and winter fundraising campaigns.

Manage data flows across our different platforms and support the implementation of automation processes where appropriate.

Work closely with departments across the organisations, specifically Comms & Marketing, Partnerships and Programmes and respond to internal requests for fundraising data analysis and reporting.

Create monthly reports on fundraising performance across comms activities to share with the team and embed best practices in future fundraising content.
Fundraising and Donor Optimisation:

Work with digital strategists to optimise fundraising communications and reporting.

Integrate data analysis into digital fundraising strategy.

Analyse the performance of fundraising campaigns and recommend improvements.

Segment audiences for fundraising campaigns based on various criteria (e.g., donation history, demographics) through managing datasets.

Develop predictive models to forecast future donations and help identify potential major donors.

Use data to tell compelling stories that resonate with donors, supporters, and the public.
Continuous Learning and Compliance:

Stay up-to-date with data analytics tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance your skills and contribute effectively.

Ensure that data handling practices comply with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR)

Be mindful of ethical issues related to data usage, especially when dealing with sensitive information about displaced people.
Essential Criteria:

Extensive experience with different database systems and knowledge of data maintenance

Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Excel to an advanced level

Proficient in data analysis tools with extensive experience of cleaning, manipulating, and analysing data effectively

Understanding of statistical concepts to draw meaningful insights from data and to assess the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns and support programs

Main duties and responsibilities
Technology provision
- To co-ordinate the application and consultation process for children’s palliative care services invited to apply for new packages of technology.
- To create documentation annually to capture all equipment requests, costings and associated partnership agreements.
- To co-ordinate technology installation schedules and liaise with Lifelites Champions to ensure efficient project delivery.
- To produce handouts and user guides for installation and ongoing training sessions aligned to Lifelites technology installation schedule.
- To attend and support the delivery of events, installations and Lifelites functions and represent Lifelites within children’s palliative care settings and forums.
- To provide administrative support for new technology pilots and other innovation activity.
- To support the development of Lifelites 25th anniversary activities, which are currently in development.
Learning and development
- To respond to training requests and co-ordinate installation and ongoing face-to-face training by liaising with Lifelites Champions, Lifelites Trainer and Head of Services to book dates and prepare training itineraries.
- To co-ordinate Lifelites Super User events including venue bookings, scheduling and training providers.
- To capture and monitor training feedback and prepare briefings for Head of Services and Trainer.
- To support the development and implementation of Lifelites e-learning platform, including course modules, interactive learning and activity ideas.
Partner engagement
- To support ongoing quality improvement by delivering regular account calls, responding to queries and maintaining up to date contact information for Lifelites Champions and other key stakeholders.
- To co-ordinate monitoring activity with partners including training feedback, annual surveys and case studies.
- To liaise with the Communications & Marketing Officer to create and publish information relating to services for newsletters and social media.
General
- To comply with Lifelites policies and procedures at all times.
- To contribute to and embody Lifelites’ values and workplace culture.
- To administer the departmental folders on the shared drive.

Business Development Manager

After successful completion of probation, the post holder will be required to undertake a self-study Brain Tree Training Course, called Cognitive Rehabilitation for Professionals which will be paid for by Headway Surrey. Assignments, exercises, and self-tests are included throughout the coursework—some of which are mailed or emailed to a course tutor for feedback. Headway Surrey will provide 2 hours a week paid study time. The course should be completed within 6-12 weeks.

JOB PURPOSE:
The main purpose of the role is to:
- Be part of Senior Management Team (SMT), attending weekly SMT meetings.
- Lead the development of an income generation strategy and the development, implementation and monitoring of income generation plan, including all fundraising initiatives, grant applications and other initiatives.
- Work with the Services Manager to obtain metrics on existing services and Finance Manager for costings and make recommendations to CEO to continue, modify or stop services.

The Digital Healthcare Manager is a new and exciting role at the College. This role will lead the development of the RCPCH Digital Health programme, aimed at understanding the range of technologies in use by the membership along with the digital confidence and competence of the membership through analysis of survey data. This analysis will help to provide details of key digital solutions for the workforce. The Digital Health programme will also support the workforce to embrace and implement digital health technologies into clinical practice.
As Digital Healthcare Manager, you will lead activities related to the integration of digital health technologies into mainstream paediatrics by participating in relevant Committees and working groups and reporting to Project Boards on the programme’s progress against agreed timelines, deliverables, risks and issues.
Based within the Research and Evidence team and reporting to the Head of Research and Evidence, you will work with colleagues internally and externally to embed digital skills into the paediatric workforce as well as developing education and training resources for paediatricians, to help build capacity and capability.
You will also work with the Head of Grants and Partnerships to identify sources of funding to support future work within the Research and Evidence remit and work with communications colleagues to create and implement communication plans and resources/assets related to the RCPCH Digital Health.
With a degree or equivalent experience with a research, health science or digital healthcare
component, you should have experience of producing high quality written reports, documentation and promotional information suitable for a range of audiences.

About CAT
The Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) is an internationally renowned environmental charity, a world-leading eco centre, and one of the foremost providers of postgraduate environmental education in the UK, based near Machynlleth in Powys, Mid Wales.
CAT provides inspiration, education and training in solutions to the climate and biodiversity emergency.
Key activities include residential short courses, vocational training and postgraduate degrees in a wide range of sustainability-related topics, with online courses and events offered alongside in-person learning.
CAT launched the Zero Carbon Britain Hub and Innovation Lab in 2020 with support from the Moondance Foundation. This was initially a three year project and received further funding from the Moondance Foundation to run the Innovation Lab for a further three years. The aim of the project is to improve the capacity of councils and communities to turn climate emergency declarations into action and create systemic change in order to increase resilience to climate change.
This will be achieved by offering a programme of support aimed at increasing the competence, confidence and effectiveness of policy makers, communities and organisations in developing zero carbon policies and action plans. This support will include: using the Zero Carbon Britain model to provide people with the knowledge to create Zero Carbon Action Plans; delivering Zero Carbon Britain training using a ‘train the trainer’ model to increase the skills and capacity of communities to take action on climate change; supplying the tools to enable people to turn climate emergency declarations into action; setting up a digital resource hub and online network to provide peer support and increase confidence of individuals and communities to take action on climate change. Overview of Role
The postholder will manage the Zero Carbon Britain Innovation Lab, to improve the capacity of councils and communities to turn climate emergency declarations into action, identifying key issues, priorities and tasks, developing ideas that impact on these areas and creating routes into larger scale impact or systems change, in order to increase resilience to climate change.
Main Responsibilities
· To work with the Zero Carbon Britain Hub Team and External Evaluator, to clarify aims and capabilities, identifying key issues, priorities and tasks the Innovation Lab could help tackle, assessing current and potential innovation capabilities and gaps
· To design the Innovation Team model
· To manage all staff employed to deliver on the Innovation Lab
· To liaise with the Head of Development to identify other sources of funding for developing the Innovation Team model and building the Innovation team
· To develop and implement Innovation Lab methodology, piloting and delivering innovation Labs
· To put in place effective systems, policies and procedures for the effective management, monitoring and evaluation of the Innovation Lab in order to deliver on the project’s aims and objectives, outputs, outcomes and impact
· To work with the Graduate School of the Environment and contribute to teaching on the Masters in Behaviour Change and other Masters degrees
· To represent the Innovation Lab externally
· To liaise and work in partnership with appropriate external organisations, to support the needs of councils and communities to turn climate emergency declarations into action
· To manage external consultants and staff tasked with delivering training and consultancy
· To prepare marketing material and publicise the project and its activities

Katherine Low Settlement’s work with older people
Katherine Low Settlement has worked with older people since its conception in 1924.They are a core part of the community that we continue to work with. We provide, often in partnership, a range of projects and activities for older people including health and wellbeing; creative arts; intergenerational work; connecting people and trips/outings. Our services include an Older People's Lunch Club, Contact Club, T’ai Chi for Elders, exercise and social sessions, and support online.

• Reduce isolation and loneliness
• Improve well-being and prevent ill-health
• Enable older residents to be dynamic and contributing members of the Wandsworth community.
Role Purpose
We are seeking to recruit a manager to lead a frontline team. This role will suit an experienced people manager who is friendly, kind and able to manage a busy workload. Someone who can motivate staff and volunteers, engage with elders and be solution focused.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the day to day running of the Elders Core Service as part of the wider Elders Programme. This includes the three day a week lunch club, transport offer and social sessions and one-off activities and trips.
• Lead a team of dedicated part-time paid staff and volunteers. The team members include a cook, support worker, minibus driver and sessional workers such as exercise tutors.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to provide this “hands on” programme which builds on older people’s strengths and potential.
• Manage the monitoring and evaluation of the project.
• Ensure the programme runs to budget.
• Support the planning of the core programme with Elders members themselves and with the wider team.
• Recruit, assess and support new and existing members (service users)
• Manage waiting lists for the programme
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Planning and oversight
• Working with the Head of Programme, ensure that all service output meets KLS’ vision, mission, values and charitable objects and with the Head of Programme, ensure the service meets the programme strategy and KLS’s 5-year strategy.
• Ensure the smooth delivery of core older people's activities throughout the week and organise, plan and promote agreed one-off activities throughout the year in a timely and planned manner.
• Manage the transport offer, including route planning and pick-up schedules of older people to and from KLS’ activities with the Minibus Driver. Ensuring the Minibus Driver maintains records.
• Ensure activity records and registers are kept accurately and up to date as well as case work notes for the core team, completing regular checks on this. We use a Salesforce Database for which training will be given.
• Actively support the social and support needs of our older people as appropriate, including safeguarding issues and being a first contact for compliments and complaints for the service.
• To be part of, and work closely with, the wider elder's team, sharing information regarding elders on a regular basis where appropriate.
• Conduct outreach and support work with older people in the community and on home visits and oversee the case work of the Core Team as well as having a small caseload. This does not involve advice work but is mainly signposting, referral and light advocacy.
Staff and volunteer management
• Take responsibility for the Core Programme. This includes line management of the Outreach and Support Workers, Lunch Club Cook and key relevant social activities workers and volunteers related to the core programme (we do also have a KLS Volunteer Manager who recruits volunteers).
• Ensure performance management and quality systems are used to monitor and evaluate the project’s work, processes and safeguarding.
• Managing individual volunteers as part of the Core Programme Team.
Relationships, comms and networks
• Continue to build and sustain strong relationships with our members.
• Contribute to comms for the service with the Head of Service. Oversee the comms for the Core Programme including the shared service newsletter, activities calendar, annual report and social media platforms.
• Attend meetings as requested on behalf of the Core Programme.
Finance
• Manage the project areas to budget, maintain basic financial records as agreed with the Head of Programme – in this instance this is usually a petty cash sheet.
Safeguarding
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to policies and procedures across the core team, ensuring that safeguarding is at the forefront of KLS’ delivery.
Undertake other duties
• Participate in regular management supervision and annual appraisal; help to identify your own job-related development and training needs
• Undertake your role in a professional manner and maintain a high-quality standard of work in accordance with the aims, values and ethos of KLS
Skills and Experience
• Experience of working with older people in a community setting
• Experience of line managing a small team in a community setting
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including communicating with people from a wide range of backgrounds and when working individually or in groups
• Strong multi-tasking skills and time management
• Ability to work as part of a small team, whilst also working independently
• Experience of monitoring and evaluating projects effectively and ensuring that they are consistently meeting needs
• Understanding and experience of safeguarding, and health & safety in theory and in practice
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office suite and ability to use Internet, email and social media. Database experience would be an advantage (Salesforce)
• Experience of working with or being a volunteer
• Knowledge of Battersea and Wandsworth

In this exciting role you will be responsible for implementing the charity’s Individual Giving, Legacy and In Memory fundraising programmes (target of £1.3m in 2024). The delivery of exceptional supporter care and stewardship is paramount in this role, the post holder will require excellent communication skills to help deepen engagement strategies with supporters and work with an ambitious, positive, and creative approach - with experience in working collaboratively organisation wide.
Key responsibilities
Planning and implementation
