Role Requirements

• Support planning and changes in the administration of children and young people’s timetable for children and family services.
• Support with photocopying of notes for subject access/ solicitor requests (SARS).
• Manage the SARS and redacting process with appropriate members of the Therapies teams.
• Update logs and coordinate the Clinical and Safeguarding Supervision across the Therapies teams, escalating non-compliance where required.
• Monitor mandatory training compliance and administer booking processes for all relevant training sessions/course.
• Coordinating specialist clinics, including spine and hip clinics; liaising with the Physiotherapy team to ensure the correct children are on the schedule. Liaison with external Consultants to organise the clinic lists.
• Carry out audiotyping of clinic letters and distribute as required.
• Update absences within the teams onto the SMI (staff care) system, as requested by the Heads of Service.
• Place orders for any required equipment and/or resources for departments and for the children and young people as deemed necessary.
• Take overview of clinical asset ordering, linking with the clinical assets team and management system, in line with MHRA guidelines and the medical devices policy.
• Track and monitor equipment orders with Heads of service, escalate delays and provide a central overview for all equipment re-charges and ordering.
• Raise and receipt PO’s and invoices for the therapies directorate and liaise closely with the finance team.
• Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will ideally have experience of leadership of a small to medium size human rights or similar charity, preferably with some international operations. They will have exceptionally strong management and people management skills, excellent judgment, proven ability to lead teams to achieve impact in their work, and an understanding of charity governance and finance issues.

Contract, location and salary

This is an interim, 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 2 days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. 

The salary is £80,000 per annum plus up to 5% employee matched pension contribution.

Delivering the philanthropy plan​

• Manage the philanthropy programme at Bookmark, working with the Head of Fundraising to grow the major donor portfolio within the wider strategy​
• Lead a team of three to deliver on the fundraising strategy, providing direction, support and guidance. Line manage the Philanthropy Manager and support their professional development ​

Person specification​

Essential​

• A successful track record in high value fundraising and acquisition, including a proven track record of securing five or six-figure gifts, to meet or exceed targets​

• Excellent understanding of complex relationship-based fundraising from high-net worth individuals and/or grant making organisations​
• Experience developing and managing a calendar of successful charity events that meet fundraising targets​

We have an exciting opportunity for a Legacy Officer to join our Legacies team. This is the ideal role for someone looking to gain more experience in legacy fundraising, and for someone who wants to make a difference to our communities when time matters most.

You will help deliver the legacy fundraising programme with the aim of securing and retaining legacy pledges, and ultimately growing income from this vital source of support.

A large part of the role will also be focused on the stewardship of existing pledgers, considerers and enquirers.  You will be comfortable engaging with the public, handling enquiries, and keeping our supporters engaged with and updated on our work.

You will also work closely with the Legacy Lead to develop marketing campaigns, legacy materials, and to support other promotional activities and the wider Legacy team

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the world of mass participation fundraising, project management and the charity sector. To do this you will have an understanding of mass participation fundraising with excellent multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.  Helpful and collaborative in your approach, an interest in relationship fundraising is essential.

As well as your keen interest in project management and relationship-building, this role will allow you to hone your excellent planning and time management skills as you will lead on several projects from start to finish.

The Supporter Analysis Lead will be instrumental in providing analysis into supporter engagement across all of Scope’s audiences, to help shape our supporter journeys, supporter marketing communications, fundraising activities, and the overall audience engagement strategy.

You will be:

• Responsible for running analysis across a range of datasets
• Developing regular and ad hoc reports that monitor fundraising efficacy
• Working closely with the Data team to build and maintain dashboards
• Detailing supporter crossover, engagements, and lifecycle, and using segmentation to shape data selections and propensity modelling.
• Reporting into the Head of Supporter Experience, you will play a vital role in driving strategic decisions for fundraising and audience engagement programmes and increasing supporter loyalty at Scope.

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has: 

• A positive, solution-focused outlook, with a proven track record of delivering analysis and actionable insights that help inform strategic decision-making.

The role works with a team of 10 Programmes Advisers focusing on each of UNICEF’s programmatic priority areas to support fundraising, communications and advocacy as part of our work for children in emergencies. The role co-leads a cross-organisational team of around 20 people in sudden onset emergency activation appeal launch.

We are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience working with and within international organisations with a human rights-based imperative, and ideally in disaster risk management, conflict and peacebuilding or climate resilience. You will be compassionate, articulate, comfortable working at pace and skilled at working with a diverse group of stakeholders. You will be experienced in relationship building across borders (and online), able to lead or contribute to team activities as the need arises.
