What you’ll be doing
As Senior Digital Communications Coordinator, you’ll be delivering our digital communication strategy by coordinating the organisation's creative digital content and analysing the impact of our digital communications to increase our impact as a campaigning organisation.
We are looking for someone who can create digital content, implement new and creative approaches to digital communications and analyse impact.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Coordinating the development and delivery of impactful digital communications plans for work across River Action’s Campaigns, Communities, Legal and Fundraising teams.

Working with colleagues across the organisation to gather content including data and images for digital communications.

Writing highly engaging, evidence-based and tactically astute content for digital communications.

Designing digital communications materials using graphics software, videos and photography, adjusting format, style and medium for different platforms and audiences.

Working closely with River Action's Media coordinator, to deliver reactive responses to real-time news stories and press releases.

Collaborate with community activists and groups in gathering new video, audio, photographic and written content for digital communications.

Posting and coordinating social media streams across all platforms (River Action’s prime channels are Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Linkedin).

Actively cultivating River Action’s social media presence by growing the charity’s following across all platforms and supporting our many partner organisations and influencers with supportive posting.

Maintaining River Action’s website, commissioning blogs, and other innovative content, ensuring the website is inspiring, accurate and relevant.

Coordinating the delivery of River Action’s monthly newsletter including gathering content, writing copy and monitoring key indicator analytics.

Monitoring and reporting communications performance and River Action impacts achieved through digital communications including social communications, email communications and website.

Collaborating publicly on communications and public engagement initiatives with other NGOs to develop and cement strategic relationships, and increase cross-promotion across platforms.

Background to the role
We are recruiting a Service Manager to lead the work of our information and advice team. The postholder will maximise the reach and impact of our advice service by raising awareness amongst older east Londoners of their entitlements and overseeing the delivery of an efficient, high quality and well-integrated service.
Working across three of the most deprived boroughs in the capital, our advice team is made up of five advisers and three information officers. Together, they support over 8000 people a year across Newham, Tower Hamlets and Hackney. Building and strengthening this offer by growing funding for the service and increasing our use of volunteers is central to our ambitious new organistional strategy. We are looking for a new advice service manager to support the Head of Advice and Advocacy to drive this change forward.

Job Purpose
- Oversee the delivery of a high-quality information and advice service across three London Boroughs with high levels of income deprivation and health inequality.
- Manage, lead and motivate a team of experienced advisers and information officers.
- Ensure a high-quality service is delivered to clients and that our professional accreditation is maintained.

- Promote access to advice, deliver training sessions to the wider health, social care and VCS and otherwise be a tireless advocate for the independent advice sector to create strong local social justice partnerships.

About the Role:
The Water Security Lead is responsible for delivering WaterAid’s water security programming by providing strategic leadership, technical expertise, and innovative solutions. - The Water Security Lead is based in the WASH Technical Effectiveness team, reporting to the head of the team. About the role:
As our Website Content Manager, you’ll manage the content production for our website based on user needs, analytics and research. You’ll own the website governance including the process for creating new website content and updating and maintaining current content. You’ll work with 'digital and brand champions’ across the organisation, providing training and support for chosen colleagues in each team to update the website.
You’ll work closely with Content Designer colleagues who will create new content for advice, training and information. You’ll be responsible for supporting other content creation and the overall maintenance of the website content.
You’ll also work closely with the communications and policy teams to align with our organisational social media content strategy, digital marketing and core objectives (including our influencing, campaigning, research and policy work).

Website content management:
- Develop and lead a website governance process (including sign-off), supporting colleagues to proactively schedule and create new website content, taking ownership of deadlines using Asana.
- Develop a website content strategy over 12 months alongside content designers, aligning with organisational objectives and goals.
- Develop and train digital and brand champions across the organisation to help them write in plain English and create web content that meets the objectives of their team and our website.
- Work closely with the communications and policy teams to align with their strategic external content strategies (including social media and email marketing campaigns) and help plan website content as part of the Editorial Board.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain the organisational style guide on Notion.so and be a champion for its use across our website communications.
- Provide website content template pages that support teams can use to structure and write accessible content and provide editorial oversight and final sign-off (web pages / information sheets / film / podcasts / workshops).
- Update and oversee the governance of our Kinship Compass tool, which enables kinship carers to search for information, support and advice in their local area .
- Be the first point of contact for content requests and scheduling for website updates.
- Prepare regular reports to the Head of Digital and Content (and other colleagues) as required.

- Ensure all website content is accessible and continually reviewed.

We are seeking an additional Support Network Coordinator to cover the South Central region (Beds, Berks, Bucks, Herts, Northants and Oxon).

Each of the Support Network Coordinators have the responsibility for delivering, maintaining, and expanding the support services available to SCI people and their families in their region of the UK.
