We are seeking to appoint an experienced Director of Income Generation to join our Senior Leadership Team on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. We are looking for candidates across England, Wales and Northern Ireland and this role will be based in our offices or at home but with some travel within England, Wales and Northern Ireland as required.
As a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a strategic role in the overall leadership and management of Friends of the Earth. This role has the responsibility of ensuring implementation of an ambitious but achievable income generation strategy. You’ll also be responsible for managing multiple income streams, all contributing to a robust and resilient portfolio of income that enables maximum organisational impact.
We are looking for an empathetic, inspiring and approachable leader with a strong track record of successful, sustainable income generation. You will have experience of strategic thinking and planning and the ability to build collective commitment to a vision. You will also have the ability to analyse the external environment and navigate clear paths for Friends of the Earth using mixture of new ideas and best practice, together with a solid understanding of the wider NGO context with regards to income generation and supporter engagement

The Operations Manager will work closely with the Managing Director to ensure the charity operates effectively. The Operations Manager will lead on the development of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, and robust management processes.

The Technology department in Refuge supports our work with survivors of domestic abuse by providing the technology, systems and tools used by our colleagues.
Through our suppliers we provide core technology infrastructure including laptops, mobile phones, internet access, printers and telephony to our Refuges and other frontline Services.
You will ensure that colleagues have the equipment and technology infrastructure they need to carry out their roles. Day to day, you’ll manage our telephone, broadband and printer suppliers, working to reduce costs and make sure that Refuge gets the service it is paying for. You will lead on projects to improve our technology infrastructure, delivering cost savings and service improvements through our suppliers.
Some of the work is administrative, ordering mobile phones, arranging shipping and keeping inventories up to date, but there is a real opportunity to improve the service we provide by delivering improvements to infrastructure and managing key suppliers to get value for money. This role requires supplier and project management expertise, but no specific technology related expertise beyond that of a capable user is necessary.
This is a great opportunity make a significant contribution to improving the way the Technology department supports Refuge in its vital work with women and children.

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Supporter Experience Officer, to plan, deliver and improve supporter retention communication journeys across a range of channels and audiences and to support the team in testing and evaluating supporter journeys that retain support, increase engagement and inspire continued, increased or diversified support.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and outstanding attention to detail, with proven experience of using insight and analysis to inform supporter communications, journey mapping planning and delivery both online and offline. They should also have experience of accountability and reporting for results, income and expenditure.

Battersea's Infrastructure Services Team is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join us on a 1-year contract. Our team provides effective IT support and services in order to ensure the smooth running of the business, so we can help our dogs and cats effectively.
This role will provide 2nd line support to resolve IT issues that include the installation and maintenance of IT hardware, software and administering users via Active Directory and Azure services in a 7 day a week environment (on a rota basis), along with working on some periodical projects, and supporting users so that our systems and data remain secure and safe.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have experience of using Microsoft 365 admin centres such as Teams and SharePoint, and experience of working in 2nd line support.
