As Head of Development, you will be a key member of a small team. Reporting to the incoming Chief Executive, you will develop and implement the preexisting fundraising strategy and guide the organisation’s communications and PR strategy. You will inherit a strategically developed portfolio of relationships and income streams, with particular strengths in trusts and foundations, and a strong network of individual donors and scope to build corporates. There is also a small but growing legacy circle, created in response to a recent bequest of £1M+. You will line manage a small team of two: the Development & Communications Coordinator, and the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. With ambitions to expand upon NYJO’s existing work, your ability to set and achieve more ambitious targets will be essential.
Please note that this role will require occasional travel that will vary across the year, depending on the events calendar. Travel is likely to be required twice per month - please discuss with Joe Blythe at QuarterFive.
As Head of Development, you will:
- Develop and implement the existing fundraising strategy and develop marketing and communications efforts, ensuring cohesive and impactful messaging to effectively engage donors and stakeholders
- Deliver a high standard of supporter care and relationship management tailored to the level of giving, including nurturing their successful new Legacy Club
- Manage and attend an annual series of fundraising events, from relaxed open days to formal receptions
- Oversee NYJO marketing and communications
- Line manage the Development & Communications Coordinator and the Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Ideal skills and experience:
- Experience of securing 5- and 6-figure grants from a range of trust, statutory and/or individual sources
- Tailoring applications to appeal to a diverse range of funders/donors, which may include drawing together distinct areas of activity to create bespoke packages
- An outgoing, approachable, confident and professional manner in dealing with donors, prospects and other stakeholders
- Interest in UK Jazz and enthusiasm for working with young artists and musicians and broadening access to participatory arts for all young people

The Head of Proposition Development will lead a newly created team that will provide compelling opportunities for donors to support initiatives across the National Trust and will deliver a step change in the approach to propositions. The Board of Trustees have a commitment to further enhancing and developing their residential houses and plans to build new educational facilities for the school.
Ochil Tower School is now looking for a Head of Care who will form a key part of the Leadership Team, working under a highly experienced and dynamic Executive Director. The Head of Care would be effective in collaborating with the education team, parents and carers and a range of other partners to meet the needs of our children and young people.
The Head of Care will liaise with members of the school community primarily but will link in with other residential schools and with other external agencies to ensure that the service remains responsive to need, is professional in approach and in line with National Care Standards, as well as Government initiatives regarding residential and day care for children and young people. The successful candidate will undertake the day-to-day strategic leadership and management of the residential team and ensure effective systems are in place for policies, procedures and monitoring. You should have significant experience of working successfully in a leadership role with proven experience of leading and supporting the development and delivery of operational strategies and associated action plans.
As well as all the skills required of a senior manager, you will need to have a commitment to and respect for the Camphill ideology.

The key duties of this Head of Finance are as follows:
- Prepare annual global organisation budgets by entity, business unit and project.
- Prepare multi-year forecasts and financial plans built on known and likely projects, activities, expected growth and blue-sky scenarios.
- Prepare regular financial performance reports for the Executive Committee and Board.
- Have critical oversight of the global results consolidation.
- Lead the Global Finance team with 3 direct reports and outsourced local relationships for each office jurisdiction.
- Prepare quarterly global and entity forecasts and supervise cashflow.
- Hold oversight of global fiscal and tax compliance.
- Plan, forecast and monitor recovery of funds from grant funded projects.

The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified as an Accountant: ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Non-profit experience, particularly with grants and project financial reporting.
- International experience – ideally at HQ group level (non-profit or commercial) demonstrating an understanding of cultural and logistical challenges.
- Excellent FP&A experience, including modelling, budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience of managing a finance team.

An award winning charity, My Life Films uses film and TV to enrich and support the lives of people affected by dementia. Known for their life story film service and for My Life TV, a specialist on demand streaming service with curated content designed to improve wellbeing, the organisation's programming is designed to enable people living with dementia to feel stimulated and connected to the world, improving their mental health and supporting their essential care.
As Head of Marketing and Communications you will lead marketing activity across the organisation as a whole, with a particular focus on helping to significantly scale up awareness, reach and impact of My Life TV in professional care settings.
Head of Marketing and Communications
Contract: Two year fixed term contract
Hours: The role is offered on a full time (37.5 hours per week) or four day a week basis with flexible working patterns also considered
Salary: £40,000 to £42,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid - the role is home based with two days per week in the London office (currently in Richmond but will be moving to Central London in January 2025)

Specifically designed to support the cognitive needs of people living with dementia, My Life TV can be used by individuals and their families at home as well as in care homes. As Head of Marketing, you will lead on the implementation of marketing strategies that contribute to Care Home-facing activity as well as broader strategic plans. With ambitious growth targets, marketing activity will be focused around increasing channel subscribers and building long-term relationships with care homes.
Main responsibilities within the role will include:
· Creating a well-defined and focused marketing plan to enable the effective delivery of organisational vision and strategy for growth
· Effectively implementing all marketing activities, with a particular focus on executing B2B campaigns to encourage growth in care home subscriptions to My Life TV
· Ensuring brand proposition and positioning for My Life TV is clear, consistent and effective
· Oversight of all external communications for the charity, including Press & PR, content creation and management of our social media channels, email marketing, updating and managing our website and all marketing collateral as needed
· Participating in industry events and marketing activities including care home shows, learning events, or conferences
· Working with the Business Development Manager to implement a customer experience journey from lead generation through to the onboarding stage
· Working with the Head of Content to ensure customer service support builds excellent customer relationships, and there is a positive ongoing customer experience
· Working with the Fundraising Lead to ensure communications with funders, corporates and other charity partners is aligned with broader marketing activities
· Ensuring strong identity and brand alignment across the organisation
· Effective management of the marketing budget
· Effectively sourcing and managing freelancers, sub-contractors and other service providers as needed
This role will suit individuals with a blend of skills and experience including the ability to work both strategically and operationally within a small team with an entrepreneurial spirit. We'd love to hear from people with the following skills and experience:
· Multi-disciplinary marketing experience across a range of disciplines e.g. digital marketing, comms & PR, direct marketing etc. You don't have to be an expert in all - but understand how they work together to deliver a strategy
· Experience building a marketing strategy, and implementing the necessary systems and processes to enable its effective delivery
· A strong track record of delivering effective multi-channel campaigns, working to fixed timelines and budgets
· Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to write compelling copy for a range of different audiences - the care market, partner organisations in the dementia field, and the wider public
· Strong team player - able to work effectively within a small multi-disciplinary team
· Excellent IT skills, ideally including previous experience using sales CRM software
· Strong people skills, with an ability to relate positively to, and engage with a wide range of people
· Experience working alongside business development teams to make sure the marketing and sales processes are aligned
· Ideally you would have experience working in a B2B context, a start-up environment or in a similar context to the care sector

International Cat Care has been challenging cruelty, ignorance and misunderstanding around cats since 1958. - Develop and deliver social media strategy and content for iCatCare channels.
- Ensure that all marketing assets are on brand and in-line with the organisation’s overall marketing objectives, strategic plan and messaging.
- Build and deliver iCatCare’s communications calendar, driving reach and depth to support the charity’s objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation on content & ideas to promote the various programmes we run.
- Line Manage the Social Media Officer and Digital Marketing Officer, offering support and guidance as necessary, and ensuring their Learning and Development needs are met.
About You:
We’re looking for a skilled marketing and communications professional who has experience in a role within PR, marketing, communications or another similar area. You’ll be a strategic thinker, who can develop and execute plans with measurable outcomes. You’ll also be an expert communicator, editor and proofreader who is also a strong relationship-builder. iCatCare operates across numerous stakeholders internally, externally including their membership so you’ll be adept at stakeholder management within a collaborative and non-hierarchical organisation.
We are looking for a talented storyteller who can support growth strategy around the charitable side of iCatCare, so while it isn’t essential, some experience of working within the sector would be useful.

The Head of Alumni Engagement is a senior role within the Development Office, which will focus on encouraging a positive experience for our global community of 500,000 alumni. You will support the University’s mission to enable access to education and create an environment for alumni and supporters to contribute to the University’s strategic and philanthropic fundraising priorities. In this crucial role, you will also need to collaborate with and support colleagues and activities across the UoL federation where appropriate.
Who are we looking for?
This role requires a deep understanding of the broader issues affecting the HE sector, particularly how they impact philanthropy and engagement. You will be confident working with senior staff and have comprehensive knowledge of alumni relations, legacies, volunteering, and charitable giving. You will be adept at networking, problem-solving, and delegating tasks within a team, while effectively prioritizing actions and advising senior leaders. Experience in building and managing partnerships is essential, as is the ability to analyse and present data clearly. You will be able to demonstrate discretion, strategic decision-making, and a meticulous approach to managing reputational risks. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain and establish relationships within the University and with external stakeholders are also crucial.

The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office.
