Every year, thousands of people in the UK face court alone. Often through no choice of their own, people must represent themselves at a moment that could have life-changing outcomes. This includes loss of access to children or homelessness. At the same time, people facing court alone may find themselves up against a party with legal representation. They are instantly at a disadvantage and overwhelmed by the enormity of the challenges they are up against. We supported unrepresented litigants in the civil and family courts in England and Wales over 45,000 times last year.

We provide a safe space with volunteers who listen to each client’s individual story. Last year, over 1000 volunteers helped people to get their thoughts in order, problem-solve and decide next steps, source relevant and reliable legal information, explain complex procedures, complete court forms, and clearly present statements.

At a time when legal support is increasingly limited, we have a vision that no one should have to face court alone.

To make this vision a reality, we have a focused communications strategy to ensure the charity has the brand, reach and impact it needs to connect with unrepresented court users and engage supporters.

We’re looking for a Training Project Lead to join our team on a 4-month contract. You’ll be leading on a project to improve our volunteer training programme, with a focus on supporting survivors of domestic abuse and incorporating a trauma-informed approach throughout the training package. 

The role

The Training Project Lead will be based in the service department, and you’ll be supported by the Head of Service Delivery. 

We’re open to applications from training professionals who are able to work remotely, and undertake some travel to our offices across England and Wales.

It will require us to deepen our work around impact, be open to the learning opportunities failure creates and seek out opportunities to share insights in new and powerful ways to influence stakeholders to make the changes needed for social entrepreneurs to flourish. 

As Senior Impact Analyst, you will lead UnLtd’s quantitative data work, overseeing outputs, tools and processes for impact measurement, board reporting, governance and compliance, programme reporting and continuous improvement. You will strengthen our data architecture framework, and work alongside other teams to ensure we improve data literacy and use data and evidence to drive decision‑making, and organisational improvement. You will bring a more impact-oriented, external facing lens to our measurement, tools, and data systems, so we can effectively understand and communicate the impact of the social entrepreneurs we support. You may also have some line management responsibilities, and you will contribute as a senior member of a collaborative, high‑performing Research, Impact & Learning team.

We’re looking for an experienced, compassionate leader to oversee the day‑to‑day running of our national helpline services and co‑ordinate our Survivors Forums. This is a unique opportunity to shape a trauma‑informed, high‑quality support service for victims and survivors of rape and sexual abuse, as well as those who support them.

In this role, you’ll ensure our helplines remain safe, accessible, and responsive, providing steady leadership in a fast‑paced, emotionally complex environment. You’ll offer clinical supervision, guide a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, and champion best practice in safeguarding, risk management, and service quality.

You’ll also play a key part in strengthening survivor voices by supporting and co‑ordinating our Survivors Forums—helping shape the future of our organisation and the wider sector.

If you’re a qualified counsellor and clinical supervisor with experience managing frontline support or crisis services—and you’re driven by a commitment to trauma‑informed, survivor‑centred practice—this role offers the chance to lead meaningful change and support a service that truly matters.

• Salary for FTE: £62,000 - £75,000 dependant on experience
• 38 hours a week over 5 days (flexibility for right candidate)

Reporting into the Board of Trustees, we are seeking an inspirational CEO for the PDA Society, who can lead with humility and curiosity, empowering and supporting our staff along the journey. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the charity and its staff and volunteers, and will oversee the development of our training products, research and support services, whilst ensuring sustainable growth in impact and income.

The successful candidate will be passionate about improving the lives of PDAers and their families. You will be energetic, creative and bring new ideas for enhancing the charity’s reputation, through nurturing existing relationships and developing new ones to achieve the charities goals. Our ideal candidate will have lived experience of autism, PDA or other neurodivergence although this is not essential.
