Location
Our light, spacious head office is based in a fantastic location in central London with views over St James’s Park and close to the West End. Role Description
The role of Senior Alumni Engagement Coordinator is to develop and maintain effective and long-lasting relationships with SEO alumni, through volunteering initiatives that encourage engagement including- creating volunteering opportunities, communications, events and stewardship. SEO London Alumni Relations Programme
SEO has a long history with our first alumni cohort graduating from the class of 2001. Our role is the nurture relationships with our vast pool of alumni, through an exciting engagement programme which includes industry networking events, social gatherings, newsletters and communications, volunteering opportunities and access to our talent pool. We create avenues for our alumni to stay connected to SEO as well as the broader network and open doors for them in industry. Creating advocates who would recommend our programmes and support the next generation of under represented students to gain access to sectors which may not be immediately available to them.
Accountabilities
VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT
- Working with the Head of Alumni Relations create our volunteering programme, providing a tangible offer for Alumni to continue to give back as members of our community as well as develop personally.
- Co- create and maintain a Volunteering database which will sit within the CRM and allow us to track, monitor and thank our volunteers accordingly. Helping to provide a better service to our alumni who have chosen to give their time.
- Create innovative ways through robust communication channels to attract volunteers to our roles
- Develop an engagement plan for our alumni, how do we steward our volunteers, do they receive a volunteering newsletter? How do we help them understand the impact they are having?
- Maintain the CRM and update with all active roles and progress
- Provide volunteering insights on a monthly basis to track and monitor the success of our recruitment offer
COMMUNICATIONS
- Alongside the Head of Alumni Relations you will be responsible for managing the creation and delivery of the Monthly newsletter, as an active participant in editorial meetings, you will be responsible for creating content and publishing the monthly newsletter
- As Comms lead for Social media you will be responsible for posting frequently across Linked In and Instagram to build engagement with our audience on these platforms
- You will provide monthly reporting on Newsletter open rates, the success of our comms in engaging our alumni as well as likes/ shares/ comments on social media EVENTS

- Supporting the Head of Alumni Relations in the delivery of monthly events, assisting with promotion as well as representing the team where possible at the events.

Fowler’s Syndrome UK (Registered Charity number 1196903) is a unique patient and clinician led charity that works to raise awareness, promote education and encourage research into the debilitating bladder condition Fowler’s Syndrome. The condition solely affects women and Fowler’s Syndrome UK (FSUK) is the only charity in the world to directly support women with this condition.
Fowler’s syndrome is a life changing and currently almost untreatable condition, affecting up to 20,000 women in the UK. It causes full or partial urinary retention and solely affects women*, meaning they have problems passing urine due to a difficulty in relaxing the urinary sphincter. The peak age of onset is 26. It was first described by Professor Clare Fowler, Emeritus professor of Uro-Neurology at UCLh, and FSUK’s patron, in 1985.
We estimate that there are in excess of 20,000 women in the UK suffering from, but not necessarily diagnosed with, the condition, because of the lack of knowledge about Fowler’s Syndrome both from a patient and clinician perspective.
85% of women with Fowler’s Syndrome say the condition has had a severe or devastating impact on their life.
75% of those with FS have been told their urinary symptoms are due to anxiety or ‘all in their head’
There is low awareness of the condition among the medical community outside of specialist hospitals. Only an estimated 30% of GPs are aware of Fowler’s Syndrome. Once diagnosed, there are few resources available for patients and limited treatment options. Many women feel alone and unsupported.
Our mission is to provide resources, promote education and facilitate research into Fowler’s syndrome; so women with the condition have stigma free access to a timely diagnosis, suitable and effective treatment options, care and psychological support.

The Role: Administrator
The administrator’s role is to support the CEO in the daily management of the charity. This will include administration, delivering resources, comms including social media and website, outreach and events, fundraising and research. It will also include supporting the CEO and Patient Liaison with seminars and conferences, and support groups.
Administration: Support the CEO and the Finance and Governance lead with daily activities, including but not limited to grant applications, basic finance administration, project management, project delivery, database management, office management. Resources: Supporting the CEO and working to deliver first class resources. Outreach and events: Drive awareness of FSUK in the local community and beyond Work with CEO to manage merchandising, registration, setup, logistics of events. Find, plan and represent FSUK at events. Manage yearly even calendar. Working with the CEO and administrator to plan, organise and run events, including transformative one-day seminar for healthcare professionals and a two-day seminar for FSUK users and clinicians.
Fundraising: Help the CEO and Patient liaison with fundraising, both on an individual and trust basis.
Community led research: Assist the CEO in creating patient led community research.
Research: Assist the CEO and work with the Patient Liaison in creating and conducting research. Including Patient perspectives input into consensus guidelines for non-surgical management, Dr. Ingrid Hoeritzauer, Patient experiences with sacral neuromodulation, Dr. Caroline Selai, Awareness of FS among UK urology community, Prof Jalesh Panicker via University Cambridge, Physiotherapy treatment experiences with FS and CIUR, Dr. Ingrid Hoeritzauer. Our research will help enable women to receive the support they need and fulfil their potential, offering quicker diagnosis and better treatments and enabling our community to thrive.
There may be occasions where staff are required to work out of hours or support at events, including wish related activities such as our annual wish family Christmas party or wish community events, cheering runners at the London marathon or working at our annual fundraising gala. Kinship is in the third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We have created 145 peer support groups. We have supported and trained kinship carers to create and lead their groups in a way which meets their needs.
With a new contract from the Department for Education, we’re now entering a new phase of our service with a focus on:
- creating 90 new sustainable peer support groups in areas of most need over 21 months;
- sustaining and developing the current 145 existing groups; and
- providing support and help to build a sustainable and welcoming community for all peer support groups across England.
This role will mobilise, develop and innovate our existing offer into a new Peer Support Community Hub with the focus on supporting sustainability and building resilience of peer support groups and their leaders. You will support and build our Kinship peer support community.

About the role
The role of the Peer Community Innovation Lead is to oversee and take accountability for sustaining kinship peer support groups across England in priority areas as part of a new hub and spoke delivery model.
In this context, your team is the centralised ‘hub’ of the service, delivering an exciting programme of training, speakers, toolkits and resources to help peer support group leaders develop, build and sustain their group well. As an Apprenticeship Adviser, you will:
- Deliver both virtual and face to face presentations to students from small groups to larger assemblies to raise awareness of apprenticeships, and other technical education routes.

Our Trees for Schools programme aims to transform urban school grounds into leafy green oases for both the children of today and for future generations. Our award-winning work in schools is delivery-focused and involves transforming school grounds into greener and healthier places to be. Specialising in innovative design, high-quality planting and landscaping, and inclusive engagement of the school community.
This role involves creating and maintaining tree-planting projects, climate-adapted gardens and food-growing projects with pupils and supporting teaching staff to embed outdoor learning through trees and green spaces into the school curriculum. The coordinator will deliver school tree planting and educational workshops and other activities.
The coordinator will also support the delivery of our growing UK wide youth programme, engaging young people through educational workshops, tree planting, maintenance events and remote youth advisory and research panels.

About the role
The NextGen Community Producer will play an integral role at Youth Music shaping and developing our support for young adults, particularly helping them to close the gap between learning and earning in music.
You’ll join us at an exciting time as we look to scale up and enhance our community engagement efforts. Building on the foundations established in phase 1 between 2021-2024, your focus will be on increasing participation, and fostering a more cohesive and active community. Your innovative strategies and passion for supporting young creatives will be key to driving deeper connections among members, and creating a compelling offer for the community.
Day-to-day you’ll be programming national events, workshops and networking opportunities; brokering progression opportunities though Youth Music’s industry partners, and recruiting to paid freelance creative roles. The job will involve managing a variety of relationships with young people, playing a central role in developing and leading the NextGen community strategy, and supporting the development of a new brand and user journey for NextGen community members.
Key responsibilities
Programme Development
- Act as the day-to-day lead and point of contact for the Youth Music NextGen Community, representing their voice internally and externally.
- Devise and implement a clear strategy for the continued growth and development of the NextGen Community, with support from the Engagement team.
- Deliver impactful programmes of activities and support that will progress young people into creative careers, broaden their networks, increase their confidence and create access to new opportunities.
- Develop and grow the NextGen Community brand and visual identity, ensuring a clear offer and user journey for those taking part in Youth Music funded projects, and other potential new members.
- Increase the role the community plays in designing and delivering the NextGen programme, aligning with Youth Music’s wider aims and values around youth voice.

Events
- Work with the events team to develop, grow and manage our programme of regular NextGen Community events across the country to bring the community together and showcase their talent.
- Develop and manage our programme of events in London in partnership with Young Guns Network (YGN), taking place in the offices of our music industry partners.

- Support recruitment for any other Youth Music or partner opportunities created for the NextGen Community. (e.g. gigs, festivals, activations, focus groups, etc).
- Develop the NextGen talent pool, finding new ways to promote and manage this.
- Create and source relevant national music-related opportunities for Youth Music’s ‘opportunities board’.
NextGen Fund
- Support the marketing and promotion of the NextGen Fund.
- Contribute and support NextGen Fund decision panels.
- Work with our Comms team to ensure that content created through the NextGen Fund is showcased on Youth Music’s social and digital channels. E.g. Sound of the Next Generation playlist.
Demonstrate Impact
- Work with the Insights Team to listen and act on feedback from the NextGen Community. This will be via monitoring, research and consultation that informs the ongoing development and design of the NextGen offer.

This position plays a pivotal role in the development and delivery of our unique, beloved 1:1 sessions for children with additional needs. Every week during term time, children aged 5-11 attend our 90-minute KEEN London sports and games sessions, where they receive personalised support from our dedicated team of volunteer coaches. Our Brent site is the newest addition to the KEEN London community and you'll play a crucial role in its continual development. We have just completed our two year pilot and are looking for a candidate to build on this foundation. As the Brent Service Coordinator, you'll be solely responsible for the front line delivery of the Brent service: planning, safety, and creating a fun and inclusive environment for all. This will involve working closely with our athletes and their families, supervising our team of volunteer coaches and engaging with the local community. Additionally, you'll oversee the organisation and execution of off-site trips and contribute to the organisation of our annual residential trip.

The Advancement Division at Imperial is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Gift Administration Assistant to join the Gift Accounting and Administration team.
You will work extensively with fundraisers and Operations colleagues, along with internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely recording, processing and acknowledgment of donations received by Imperial, liaising with frontline fundraisers to provide the highest standards of donor care and financial record keeping.
Duties and responsibilities
• Process donations received in support of Imperial, ensuring that they are properly recorded in our CRM system, Raiser’s Edge, and applied in accordance with the donors’ wishes.
• Securely process credit card donations received either through the post, online or over the phone.
• Help preparing direct debit AUDDIS and collection files from Advancement’s CRM system, Raiser’s Edge.
• Prepare acknowledgement letters to donors from agreed templates and send out daily.
• Produce tax receipts for donors on request and maintain electronic records.
• Support the Gift aid claim process by checking that Gift aid declarations are available and donations are eligible.
• Update the documented processes if changes have been agreed or new processes are introduced.
• Work closely with other teams within Operations to streamline and continuously improve established processes.
• Ensure all donation and data capture devices adhere to PCI compliance, Data Protection and Gift Aid validation rules.
• Monitor the Gift Accounting inbox, responding to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, including potential donors when appropriate, and distributing emails to relevant team members as appropriate.
