About the Role:
This role is a hybrid working role and is based at our Singer Street offices, Islington, London for a minimum of one day a week and home working, subject to operational demand. As a Deputy Head of Service you will assist the Head of Service (HoS) to deliver consistently safe, high-quality support for all service users across the Service and ensure contractual targets are met. You will deputise in the absence of the HoS.
- Assist the HoS to deliver a high-quality service across London, meeting funder requirements and deputising in HoS absence.

- Drive continuous improvement of performance through use of data and other operational information to ensure teams perform to the highest standards at all times. This will include developing further data sources/requirements to ensure where possible all aspects of DA Service performance are evidenced.
- Coordinate the auditing and analysis of data and other information required for the performance and monitoring reports for the commissioner as well as ad hoc requests from partners, HoS and/or Director.
- Help build on and lead external relationships promoting positive working relationships to ensure the best possible support and outcomes is provided to eligible service users.
- Ensure we are meeting the needs of our service users to a standard as expected of our commissioners and partners.
- Be a Designated Safeguarding Officer.

The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for executing Pro Bono Economics’ (PBE) fundraising strategy under the Director of Development’s guidance. We are pleased to advertise for a Head of Death Penalty Projects- US to oversee our work against the death penalty in the United States of America.
Reprieve has worked against the death penalty since our founding. In recent years we have built a particular specialism in issues relating to lethal injection, the most popular execution method in the US. Lethal injection has been touted as more humane than other methods – a modern, clean, clinical way to execute. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Lethal injection executions go wrong more often than any other execution method, often resulting in prolonged and torturous executions, commonly known as “botched” executions. Through our work we aim to dispel the myth of the humane execution, working with allies across medicine, business and other sectors to end the misuse of medicines and medical technology in executions.

Contract, location and salary

For a large, London-based University, we are recruiting a Deputy Head of Strategic Planning (Statutory Reporting and Data) to lead the delivery of statutory reporting, and the data governance and data quality required to ensure accurate data submissions. This is a key role in compiling, completing and assuring data quality on Higher Education Statutory Returns such as HESA Student, Initial Teacher Training (ITT) returns and Unistats. The role will provide oversight to the entire University data lifecycle, ensuring it informs internal analysis and external returns via robust governance and accurate completion and submission of all data returns.
Main Duties:
- Lead the University statutory data returns processes
- Act as the champion for data quality, ensuring process redesign and quality assurance are robust
- Own the start-to-finish cycle of statutory returns including HESA Student, Initial Teacher Training (ITT) returns and Unistats
- Oversight of other statutory data returns e.g., HEBCI and EMR
- Support further implementation of HESA Data Futures for future returns and shift to in-year reporting
- Lead, motivate and manage a team of highly performing staff
Person Specification:
- Expert knowledge of UK Higher Education statutory data submissions including data collection and manipulation
- Track record of improving data governance and data quality
- Excellent knowledge of the Higher Education sector, its data, policy and regulations and requirements of statutory reporting

About the Role
Over the past 7 years, UnLtd have developed and built an investment offer for social purpose organisations. This has included the development and full deployment of two investment funds - UnLtd Impact Fund, and the Thrive Fund. We launched our third investment fund in partnership with Big Issue Invest in December 2022. The Growth Impact Fund is currently a £10m fund focussed on providing capital for diverse-led social purpose organisations.
Reporting into the Director of Delivery & Investment, this person would be responsible and accountable for our investment work across UnLtd. This includes the management of the previously deployed funds as well as management of UnLtd’s role in the delivery of the Growth Impact Fund, specifically the management of the pre and post investment support and the management of our portfolio of investees.
This is a significant role for UnLtd. It requires experience of working on and in an investment fund, managing a complex and ever-changing investment portfolio, as well as the ability to manage a team, and a high-level strategic partnership with Big Issue Invest.

Job Summary:
The Head of Finance and Property (HFP) will be responsible for overseeing and directing the financial activities of the charity and its trading subsidiary, and property.
