Role Requirements
Site wide general housekeeping service – ensure that the housekeeping services is of an acceptable level and is consistent across site.
- Carry out a cleaning service in allocated buildings/rooms/areas ensuring that daily tasks are completed according to the standard operating procedures in relation to the cleanliness/hygiene standards.
- Follow infection control procedures whenever carrying out duties and ensure procedures are followed should there be an infection control outbreak.
- Liaise with the Housekeeping Supervisor and House Staff on a daily basis – carrying out special requests in relation to Housekeeping.
- Ensure safe storage of cleaning materials and equipment and sufficient stock is maintained – informing the Housekeeping Supervisor of stock requiring ordering.
- Assist in the cleaning of communal areas on a daily basis and cleaning of carpets, curtains and high dusting on a rotating schedule.
- Ensure that any repairs required to fixtures and fittings are reported to the designated Facilities Helpdesk as soon as possible and any issues are reported to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Assist in routine housekeeping audits as outlined in the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure any works are to agreed service levels.
- Prioritise work to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Assist other members of the Site Services and Facilities teams as required.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.

Are you passionate about supporting older people to develop and maintain their physical wellbeing? We are looking to recruit an Exercise at Home Coordinator, sitting within the Wellbeing & Connections team, to deliver a programme of activities that can support older people with mobility challenges through exercise at home.
The desired candidate will have a Level Three Fitness Qualification (PT) and will assist clients to gain confidence through movement, including chair-based exercise, and walking support for older frail clients in their home. The role is pivotal in enabling people with chronic conditions to become more active, and for people who have temporarily lost mobility to regain the confidence to walk. To ensure the ongoing effectiveness of this programme offer, the role will include training and supporting volunteers.
Role functions:
- Running our Exercise at Home programme – assessing new clients in their homes, prescribing exercise programmes for clients that align with their needs and goals, training volunteers to deliver the programmes, and managing the day-to-day running of the project.
- Delivering walking support sessions - these will be tailored to be accessible by those who have either recovered from a fall or have had surgery and need the confidence to access the community. These sessions will enable people to increase their mobility, whilst also having an opportunity to socialise with others in the local community. Training volunteers to assist clients with walking support will be a key part of the role.
- Co-ordinating other community-based physical wellbeing activities, including our monthly Flaneur Walks during the warmer months, and any new projects that arise.
- Networking with relevant local bodies, NHS trusts, GP clinics, and social services to make them aware of the services we provide and to strengthen our presence in the field.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and have at least one year’s experience of working with older people. A Level Three Fitness qualification is compulsory and a qualification in delivering exercise programmes for those with mobility issues would be advantageous.

The 2 roles will be specialist roles and based in both treatment sites as well as some Camden hostels with the in-reach team and well working with the Women's Senior Practitioner across women's services. The idea of the role is for People with a lived experience from homelessness and or Substance misuse help and support and shape services along with specialist practitioners working for both SHP and CGL.
The new post Women's post will be working across Camden substance misuse services to build safe spaces for women to access the treatment they need without fear from further harm or trauma. (*For genuine occupational requirement reasons, we are seeking female applicants only for this post (exemption under the Equality Act 2010; Schedule 9 Part 1).
The new Hostel based post will be working with the Recovery in reach team to develop positive activities for Camden's hostel pathway clients to access treatment but also develop positive things in their lives to inspire their recovery.
We are looking for 2 dynamic individuals to develop their skills as well as learn Trauma informed interventions to develop and transform clients experience of treatment and services which supports better lives and outcomes for clients.

JOB PURPOSE
The Programmes Assistant within Programmes will provide efficient, flexible and proactive administrative and organizational support to the Director of Programmes and to the two Deputy Directors (Programmes and Advocacy). He/ She will be responsible for the Director of Programmes’ diary management, for organising various internal and external meetings, including meeting agendas, setting up translations and minute taking, as well as, providing follow up summary notes and action trackers. Becoming A Man (BAM) is a two-year school-based counselling and mentoring programme that guides young men as they learn, practice, and internalise social-emotional skills, make responsible decisions for their future, and become positive members of their school and community. BAM was first developed in Chicago by Youth Guidance in 2001 and has been validated by two randomised control trials, having shown long-term positive outcomes for young people. Since 2020, BAM has been delivered in six secondary schools across Lambeth and Islington by the Mental Health Foundation (MHF).
MHF is seeking a new Counsellor to join the team in continuing the programme across schools in Islington. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in partnership with teachers and school staff, effective leadership skills, and a background in youth engagement will be required.
What does the role involve?
· leading and facilitating four to five weekly BAM groups during the school-day, utilizing youth engagement, clinical counselling, Men’s Work, and Rites of Passage skills;
· collaborating with school administration, teachers, and other Mental Health Foundation programmes to provide and participate in professional development sessions.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
· The appointed person will be able to effectively engage diverse groups of young people in group activity and be proficient in recording confidential case notes in a timely manner.
· The appointed person will have lived experience of the issues encountered by BAM participants and/or proven experience of working in a therapeutic capacity with groups of young people.
