About the role:

Based within Single Homeless Project's (SHP) Islington Complex Needs Accommodation Service, you will work closely with the Regional Services Manager and a multi-disciplinary team to deliver intensive, person-centred support to clients at our Ashley Road project. This is a high-impact role, designed to support individuals with multiple and complex needs, including mental and physical health challenges, substance use, and a history of offending. You will support and empower our clients as they move from crisis towards stability, independence, and meaningful engagement in the community.
As a Project Worker, you will have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of some of the most marginalised people in our society. You will play a vital role in helping clients sustain accommodation, access services, and develop the skills and confidence needed to take control of their lives. You will work in close partnership with external agencies and professionals to deliver coordinated support, while also playing a key part in preventing homelessness and promoting long-term inclusion. The working rota for this post is Monday - Friday, with no weekend shifts. The rota will consist of a mixture of earlies (8am - 3.30pm) & lates (3pm - 10.30pm).

Responsibilities
· Develop and execute an annual development plan and budget, focused on identifying and building new groups of supporters (“chapters”) across cities as per the strategy and priority of TCF-UK.
· Achieve fundraising targets, while adhering to the fundraising budget, and thereby delivering a high rate on investment.
· Develop a programme of fundraising activities and initiatives, with the aim of growing regional income for TCF.
· Research, identify and network with key individuals in groups in the community who will support fundraising events and activities.
· Recruit, manage and support fundraising volunteers and supporters.
· Provide support and guidance to groups and individuals in the community who are fundraising on behalf of TCF.
· Manage and grow the portfolio of existing and potential HNWI’s in the assigned region, ensuring that all donors receive highest possible care.
· Attend, promote and raise funds for TCF-UK at events organised by TCF supporters or other organisations.
· Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders (media agencies, journalists etc.) and leverage these to drive awareness about TCF.
· Ensure all fundraising activities comply with TCF’s guidelines as well as the statutory guidelines.
· Provide timely reports to the CEO and the Board on progress of all fundraising activities.
· Ensure donor, stakeholder and volunteer data is accurately captured and managed in the CRM.
Personal Specifications:
· Bachelors degree
· Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to connect, network and build relationships.
· Broad understanding of fundraising techniques, volunteer management and major donor fundraising.
· A successful track record of developing and nurturing strategic partnerships and meeting budget and targets.

Direct Marketing Manager-Retention at the Disasters Emergency Committee is pivotal when we launch an appeal. They will shape and deliver new and existing supporter journeys for the DEC’s individual, community and legacy donors, and lead a programme of improvement across all major contact points between the DEC and the public.
The purpose of the role is to:
- Contribute to and develop DEC direct marketing strategies, including the refreshing, implementation and analysis of the DEC’s segmentation, to maximise future income and continually improve the retention of individual supporters for future emergency appeals,
- Lead on the production of retention and reporting back materials for individual and community supporters,
- Manage the development and maintenance of specific supporter journeys,

The role will deliver responsibilities for strategy and planning, fundraising, networking and building relationships. You must have strong direct marketing experience with a focus on high volume donor acquisition and demonstrable knowledge of direct marketing techniques such as direct mail, email, SMS and SMS content management systems.
A proven track record of developing effective digital and direct marketing strategies, which resulted in significant growth of income and retention of a charity’s individual supporters. Experience of managing complex budgets and proven ability to manage a complex operational plan within very short timeframes and within budget.
You must have excellent understanding of donor motivations, managing donor relationships, supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
Ideally you will have experience of working in the international humanitarian aid sector, have excellent understanding of current trends within charity direct marketing and have used Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Google analytics.
An ability to work under extreme pressure during appeals and to very tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail is a key driver for success in this role.
You will join a collaborative team, department and organisation that excels in maximising their fundraising effort in response to disasters that keeps donors and recipients of funds updated and engaged throughout and beyond the journey of an appeal.

About you
To succeed in the role, you should have:
- Proven experience of showcasing the impact of a charitable organisation for an audience of high-level donors, preferably in a medical science context, to foster repeat and lifelong support.
- Proven experience of producing high specification documents for a discerning readership, encompassing experience in copywriting, desktop publishing including InDesign and the effective use of images.
- Demonstrable project management experience, preferably in producing short and longform written materials from conception to delivery, in both digital and hard copy formats.
- Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders towards a common goal.
