Purpose of Post:
The Marketing & Communications Officer will be responsible for the administration and co-ordination of consistent marketing and communications messages and activities, promotions, exhibitions, PR campaigns, social media, digital/website content, uphold brand integrity, which enhances and grows the reputation and awareness of IMO Charity.
The Marketing and Communications Officer will play a key role in supporting the Business Development Manager to manage the ‘public face’ of IMO Charity. It is expected that the Marketing & Communications Officer will contribute strategically and creatively about how to promote the organisations services and activities to engage all members and stakeholders, offering inventive ideas for creating captivating marketing content and the drive to deliver it with a flair for language, keeping up-to-date with changes in the social media and attention to detail.
The Marketing & Communications Officer will work closely with the staff, supporting them to develop and deliver communication plans, in line with meeting the overall strategic objectives of the organisation.
A prime area of responsibility will be to work with the Business Development Manager and other team members in delivering contractual obligations and impact reporting associated with marketing and communications across all projects.
The officer will support the IMO Charity team by inputting and contributing towards the activities and development of tenders, grant applications, market research, membership support, data analysis, events and any other activities required to achieve IMO Charity marketing objectives.

Trust Manager

We're looking for a passionate and strategic Trusts Manager to lead the growth and stewardship of Book Aid International's diverse portfolio of trust and foundation supporters. This role is key to deepening relationships with existing funders while identifying and securing new funding opportunities to help expand their life-changing work around the world.
With trust income remaining steady over the past four years, the priority is to grow this vital income stream beyond the £300k target by reaching out to new partners in the UK, US, and internationally.
The Trust Manager will play a central role in achieving this ambition, developing and delivering a robust trusts fundraising strategy, managing a diverse portfolio of donors, and supporting both restricted projects and the flagship Generation Reader campaign.
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you'll join a committed team working to ensure that millions of children and adults worldwide have access to inspiring books and vibrant reading spaces that support literacy and a lifelong love of reading.

Role overview

THE ROLE

The Managing Director is a crucial role within the organisation, and will be responsible to the Trustees for the overall leadership, management and strategic development of Fat Macy’s Foundation (including instigating projects and taking opportunities to increase income).
As the external face of the organisation, they will be a strong communicator, raising the profile of the organisation and networking effectively.
Responsible for Fat Macy’s income generation, they will be scanning the horizon for new business opportunities and seizing relevant opportunities to form new partnerships. Equally important will be internal management: developing an effective and efficient organisation.
Structure
The Managing Director reports to and is accountable to the Trustees.
The Managing Director will work in partnership with the Fat Macy’s co-founder and CEO of Fat Macy’s Ltd and will oversee the general management of the charity. They will line manage the senior leadership team at Fat Macy’s Foundation: the Programme and Grants Manager, the Development and Operations Manager and the Training Lead (0.5 FTE).

Role Overview:

The Role
Staffordshire Wildlife Trust had an income of £4.7m in year ending March 2024, and this has grown again in the last 12 months. To push ahead with the Trust’s vital work to restore the natural environment across Staffordshire, and to meet the strategic goals by 2030, the Trust needs to increase its revenue substantially.
You’ll be leading a dedicated fundraising and communications team currently made up of 10 staff but set to grow. This position is a new one, and one of the key recommendations of a fundraising research assignment conducted at the end of 2024.
The Head of Fundraising and Development will report to the Chief Executive and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Key tasks include:
• Develop and implement a five-year fundraising strategy

We seek an experienced Director of Development to drive Blue Ventures' fundraising efforts, secure resources, and support our ambitious Thriving Fishers Thriving Oceans Strategy.
Reporting to the Chief Programme Officer, this senior leadership position oversees the development team and is responsible for a portfolio of trusts and foundation grants, high-net-worth individual giving, and government funding. About This Role

The Outreach Lead will work collaboratively with the Outreach Manager and will involve engaging new referral partners ensuring that they aware of the support available. Referral partners may be charities, job centres, community organisations or work programme providers. By attending meetings, events and employment fairs the Outreach Lead will share the service Smart Works offers and ensure the women who will benefit from the appointments are referred. The role will also involve delivering workshops to unemployed women across Bradford in various settings and managing a cohort of volunteers to help support these.

About Us:
Strength & Learning Through Horses provides mental health and education support to some of London’s most vulnerable young people through offering equine assisted therapy and alternative education programmes. The organisation’s ability to deliver excellence in its service quality is dependent upon a skilled and competent workforce where learning and continuous improvement is a fundamental aim.
Strength & Learning Through Horses has been in operation for over 10 years and has grown year on year in terms of income and number of young people reached and number of services we offer.
We have 5 full time and 5 part time contracted staff members, 18 freelance staff members and work with 17 volunteers. 400 – 500 young people per year benefit from our life changing services; our hope is that this will increase to 700+ per year from 2027 once the building project at our site is complete. We have ambitious longer term plans for growth.
We have been operating in North London for over 10 years from a small stables, after our lease sadly came to an end in January 2023 we moved to our long term home. This was a derelict stables owned by the Council which we have secured via a 25 year lease. In 2022-23 we raised £300,000 to get the site usable as an equine therapy centre although it is still very run down with much of it boarded up an derelict. We now have full planning permission to develop the site and build a purpose built equine therapy centre which will allow us to double the number of young people who access the space.
About the Role:
To make this dream a reality we are looking for an experienced Capital Fundraising Manager to lead the Capital fundraising campaign for this project to raise £700,000 over 2 years in order to fund this build.
The hope is to raise £350,000 in year one in order to fund half of the build (stage 1) with the remaining funding being secured in the 2nd year to complete the build in year 2. We have a strong track record of fundraising including recently securing 5 years core costs funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and we have warm relationships that we can call on once this fundraising campaign gets activated.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the charity at a time of growth and change and an opportunity for someone to really make this role their own.
