About the roles:

Camden’s Integrated Drug and Alcohol service is offering an incredible opportunity for individuals with lived experience of homelessness and/or substance use to join a pioneering team supporting others in their recovery journey. With one year of funding secured, we are seeking two passionate and dynamic individuals to take on specialist roles, based at both treatment sites and within Camden hostels. These roles will also involve working alongside the In-reach team and the Specialist Women’s team, allowing you to make a tangible impact on the lives of clients by helping to shape and enhance services for those who need them most. You will be a familiar, trusted face, guiding clients through their recovery journey, empowering them to access treatment and overcome barriers, while contributing your own insights to ensure services are truly supportive and accessible.

In these roles, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in trauma informed interventions, working alongside expert practitioners to transform how clients experience treatment. The focus is on creating safe, welcoming spaces for individuals to seek help without fear of further harm or trauma, while also engaging in meaningful activities that inspire positive change in their lives. You will be pivotal in supporting Camden’s hostel pathway clients, helping them not only access treatment but also discover the strength within themselves to rebuild their lives. ANTRUK is a small UK patient organisation for people impacted by antibiotic and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Our legitimacy to advocate for change, with policy makers and NHS organisations, comes from our research projects, our engagement with patients and their families, and from our direct support of patients through our information service and peer-support activities. We have been lucky enough to secure funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for our wilder future for Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust Project. This is to undertake a programme of digital and cultural transformation at the Trust, creating a more efficient and effective organisation.

You’ll be part of the Trust’s Development Directorate, leading the development and delivery of the Trust’s volunteering transformation plans with the aim to improve collaboration and efficiency across the Trust.

About the role

This is a new role funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund that will enable the transformation of how the Trust supports volunteering by delivering a programme of volunteer and staff engagement and training, and leading the set up and migration to a new cloud-based volunteer management system. The role will also lead on volunteer development with external partners as part of the project.

The postholder will require the ability to work collaboratively and to implement an agreed project plan to fixed milestones and is expected to support and embrace a positive team culture, and to uphold the Trust’s values and expected behaviours at all times. They should act as a positive role model for staff, volunteers and external stakeholders through a professional, collaborative and engaging approach.

The Role

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust had an income of £4.7m in year ending March 2024, and this has grown again in the last 12 months. To push ahead with the Trust’s vital work to restore the natural environment across Staffordshire, and to meet the strategic goals by 2030, the Trust needs to increase its revenue substantially.

You’ll be leading a dedicated fundraising and communications team currently made up of 10 staff but set to grow. This position is a new one, and one of the key recommendations of a fundraising research assignment conducted at the end of 2024. 

The Head of Fundraising and Development will report to the Chief Executive and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. 

Key tasks include:

• Develop and implement a five-year fundraising strategy

• Develop a fundraising culture across the Trust 

• Co-develop bottom-up, evidence-led income forecasts with your team and relevant Senior Leadership Team members

• Take overall responsibility for all fundraising

• Oversee the exploration of new income generating opportunities 

• Oversee the management of all fundraising systems/processes (fundraising database and financial information)

• Be responsible for all internal and external communications

About You

The Head of Fundraising and Development role is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and innovative fundraising professional to develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy. You will be an effective leader, comfortable delegating authority in areas where you have less expertise to the experts in your team.

An inspiring leader, you will have exceptional people management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.  You should be willing to work flexibly as your team requires it, this may involve working at events outside of normal hours to support your team.

You will have experience of:

• Experience in the financial management of grants, including developing budgets for proposals (on a full cost recovery basis), and reporting for donors.

Online and in person, our parents’ groups, events, resources, podcasts and talks offer mutual support, information and inspiration to adopters and those considering adoption. We are the leading peer support community for adopters  across Greater London and the Home Counties, and offer digital-membership nationally; we have ambitions to scale our in-person services provision significantly over the coming years.
