Main purpose of the role
The post of Customer Support Administrator provides Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) with the opportunity to deliver high quality customer service alongside supporting our Coordinators who administer courses and deal with enquiries. This role includes communication, administrative and course support duties. The Customer Support Administrator will have all-round skills and be professional, dependable, adaptable, conscientious, well-organised and a proactive self-starter who is willing to work across the organisation and communicate effectively at all levels.
The role is situated within the Governance and Assurance directorate but will work closely with all directorates within the organisation.
Location: We have adopted hybrid working arrangements, allowing staff to balance home and office working. The successful applicant will be required to come into the office for a minimum of 1 day per week.
Duties and responsibilities
Communication
- Be the first point of contact for people contacting RCUK by telephone and dealing with the subject matter appropriately or referring to others.
- Monitor and allocate enquiries via the RCUK support system, answer enquiries, or allocate/escalate to appropriate individuals within the organisation.
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Ability to meet and uphold SLAs.
- Ensure KPI’s are met to adhere to RCUK’s standards.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with candidates, course centres and instructors through open and interactive communication.
- Be able to multi-task whilst dealing with telephone calls, navigating through systems, and responding to tickets/emails.
- Liaise with wider organisation to manage task at-hand.
- Respond to email queries from multiple inboxes.
- Speediness in responses to live chat queries
Administration
- Undertake administrative duties on the RCUK LMS and CRM (e.g. password resets, course director reports, profile amendments, centre application submissions etc.).
- Monitor stock levels working with the current stock management system (ARK).
- Take accurate minutes of meetings.
- Meet operational targets set by the management team.
Courses
Please note: the following section will amount to a smaller percentage of this role, but training will be provided so the successful candidate has the ability to be able undertake the below when required.
- Report to the Business Support Manager (BSM) regarding any concerns/issues with communication to Course Centres, Instructors, Candidates and other stakeholders.
- Understand and provide assistance on all courses which include: Advanced Life Support (ALS), Newborn Life Support (NLS), Immediate Life Support (ILS), Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS), Focused Echocardiography in Emergency Life Support (FEEL), Generic Instructor Course (GIC), European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS), Advance Resus of Newborn Infant (ARNI).
- Liaise with Course Centres, managing and approving courses in line with current course Regulations.
- Organise course materials and keep accurate records by:
o liaising with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels of course materials
o organising the dispatching of course materials to Course Centres
o liaising with Course Centres and the supplier to resolve issues - e.g. lost orders
o liaising with Finance regarding invoicing and payment of accounts
- Provide expert advice and first-line support to Course Centre Administrators, Course Directors, Instructors, Candidates and ALS Regional Representatives regarding aspects of all courses and the RCUK Learning Management System (LMS).
- Alongside the BSM, acknowledge course complaints and request further information and documentation as required, prior to escalation where necessary.
- Provide absence cover within the coordinator team.
- Work with the Clinical Leads (CLs) to assist with keeping the course regulations and course materials under review and ensuring any changes or new guidelines are communicated to our community of practice.

JOB PURPOSE
UK for UNHCR is looking for a Digital Communications Officer to join its team, raising vital support for displaced people around the world through creative campaigns such as the Refugee Dictionary, Cuppa Hope as well as fundraising appeals and partnerships.
Reporting to the Digital Communications Manager, the Digital Communications Officer will have particular focus delivering day to day social media communications, including community management, publishing, content management and development. This role will also support wider digital communications activities, such as with the Senior Digital Communications Officer who manages the website.
This involves identifying opportunities to amplify appeals, campaigns and partnerships through social media to support UK for UNHCR’s fundraising and public advocacy objectives. Raising awareness of global refugee crises and UNHCR’s humanitarian operations forms a central part of this storytelling, as well as thematic campaigns and PR moments throughout the year.
One of your first focuses will be helping grow and verify UK for UNHCR’s TikTok account and LinkedIn presence, in addition to transitioning the charity’s channels to a new social media management tool. You will also work closely with the wider Communications team in supporting online and offline fundraising appeals.
The Digital Communications Officer will also work with the wider Communications team to identify and support storytellers (including refugees and supporters) to share their stories through the charity’s social media channels.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning, coordination and growth
- Deliver and schedule social media content on a daily and weekly basis, with flexibility to respond to news events and emergencies at short notice.
- Produce or commission multimedia content, including videos, graphics and photography to support charity activity on social media.
- Apply understanding of UNHCR’s humanitarian work to deliver strong storytelling and relevant content to the audience.
- Adapt content from UNHCR’s head office and field communications to localise for UK audiences.
- Develop social media editorial plans to amplify campaigns, milestones and events.
- Deliver planning and scheduling in a timely manner and be quick to respond to news and emergencies.
- Flag and navigate political sensitivities in line with UNHCR and charity policies.
- Deliver on a paid media strategy to amplify social media content more broadly, with a focus on Meta ads manager.
- Update and maintain community management guidelines on a regular basis.
- Work closely with the Communications Coordinator to monitor and moderate all of the charity’s social media channels.
- Other support for digital communications as required, such as helping cover website activities when colleagues are on leave.
Analytics, reporting and best practice
- Deliver regular reports outlining the performance of our content and channels, ensuring we’re on track to reach 100k followers by the end of 2026.
- Create and lead on a testing roadmap, leveraging new features across all social media channels.
- Keep up to date with social media content trends, news and tools to inform best practice and strategy.
- Provide subject matter expertise, proactive assistance and advice as required for planning and delivery of digital and supporter journey projects.
- Observe all legal and legislative requirements, comply with policies and procedures, and demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and integrity.

Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services (CDARS) is a charity organisation that provides psychological and social support to drug users and their family members.

The Community Involvement Co-Ordinator (CIC) will deliver positive and improved outcomes for service users across both Boroughs. This will include creating solid relationships with other partners within the voluntary and community sector (VSC), including Job Centres, Work programmes, local businesses, and employers, to improve outcomes for service users through enhanced re-integration opportunities within the local Community. Another focus of the post will be to manage the Community Involvement Worker (CIW) , who will work closely with the Manager to recruit, train and nurture peer mentors and service user representatives. About the role
Alongside the Service Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service. You will support the Service Manager to manage and ensure the delivery of the service’s key quality and safety priorities by holding delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the supported living activity/service. You will also have delegated responsibility for the direct supervision and line management of a team of Support Workers. As a senior member of the team, you will promote and lead good practice at all times, doing all you can to make sure that the people we support and their colleagues come to no harm and that the people we support are satisfied with the level of support they receive by acting as an
exemplary role model.
As a Deputy Service Manager, flexibility is important for both you and for the service. You will be required to do on-call shifts during out of office hours. You will be expected to work 20% of your total weekly hours on shift across your assigned services and will be able to role model all aspects of a support worker role duties and responsibilities. Following your time on shift, and in general practice at all other times, you will have responsibility for reporting back to the Service Manager and for maintaining a continual dialogue loop of feedback that focuses on quality, and continuous improvement and learning and ensuring the smooth operation of the allocated group of services.

-You will have significant, recent experience at a front-line management level in field of learning disabilities in regulated services which may have included being a Registered Manager
-You will have knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to adults with learning disabilities, CQC regulations and Health and Safety issues.
-You need good IT skills and experience of maintaining records to be a success in this role.
-You need to hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or hold a level 3 diploma and be willing to undertake this level 5 apprenticeship qualification within an agreed reasonable timescale of 18 months as part of a development plan
-You will have the ability to lead and manage people and be a role model in all aspects of people leadership especially performance

About the Role:
As Trusts and Corporate Fundraising Manager, you will design and implement a comprehensive fundraising programme to secure support from trusts, foundations, corporate partners, and the local community. Working closely with the CFO, you will lead efforts to meet the Trust’s strategic objectives, from organising events to nurturing long-term relationships with key funders. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference by raising funds that directly benefit students and educational initiatives across the Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a fundraising strategy that aligns with the Trust’s goals

About You:
You will need to be experienced fundraising professional, ideally with experience in trust and corporate fundraising. About the role.

As Group Finance Manager, you will play a leading role in the Enabling Services team at an innovative international charity focussed on climate initiatives, enabling the organization to deliver innovation that creates the change we have committed to, meet our funders’ needs, and support our partners and community
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Finance Manager, will oversee and manage the monthly close process, lead the preparation of year-end financial statements for the group, and coordinate the annual audit. These responsibilities should be underpinned by a focus on user experience and on fit-for-purpose platforms, processes, procedures, systems, and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Management
• Manage and develop 2-3 finance assistants
• Manage interactions with teams across the organisation, collaborating in the key processes of financial management and provide guidance and advice to the business.
Month-End Process and Close:
• Oversee and manage the monthly close process, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and completed within the month end timetable.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that all discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
• Work with the finance team to ensure the accuracy of the trial balance and prepare key month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
• Ensure all intercompany transactions and balances are reconciled and eliminate intercompany profit, and are in line with transfer pricing requirements
• Perform detailed variance analysis of key financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., FP&A, clusters) to ensure accurate financial data for reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies throughout the close process.
Year-end accounts process
• Lead the timely and accurate preparation of financial information in line with statutory reporting, management accounting, and funder requirements.
• Coordinate and lead the preparation and audit of the consolidated Group entities and branch financials. This includes:
o Liaising with the external auditors
o Preparing and managing the timetable for preparation and audit of the financial statements, ensuring all financial statements are signed off within required timelines.
o Assisting local teams in resolving audit queries as necessary, ensuring local audits are completed on time, within budget and with minimal issues or adjustments.
o Preparing consolidated financial statements
Local reporting and compliance
• Manage reporting timelines including filing deadlines for assigned funds and all branches in the structure, and that all deadlines (e.g., lenders, investors, statutory) are met.
• Perform high-level review of local branches companies; review financial statements prepared by local teams
• Ensure timely compliance with donors, audit and statutory reporting as required; ensure the remediation of audit recommendations and implementation of financial / risk reporting decisions by governance bodies.
Controls and conintuous improvement
• Drive strong financial control and advocate financial priorities to the business.
• Continuous improvement of ERP system for the finance team.
• Support financial and performance reviews using monthly dashboard.
• Report financial results and ensure compliance with GDPR Guidelines.
• Encourage and enable shared ownership of high integrity data.
Education/Qualifications
• Holder of a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, etc.) with over six years post qualification experience.
Experience
• Experience in the preparation of management, statutory and Group consolidation accounts.
• Substantial experience of working in complex entities with multi-national interests and distributed teams (working in different locations and through remote or virtual working) and experience of managing finance teams.
• Experience of multiple sectors, ideally with a mix of public and private; experience in the not-for-profit sector/grant making environment including EU grant funding would be highly beneficial.

RMC attracts funding from a wide range of areas including trusts and foundations, Local Authorities and individuals. The Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Manager will work closely with fundraising and operational colleagues to diversify and grow income from Trusts, Foundations, Statutory bodies, and other institutional funders to enable the organisation to fulfill its strategic priorities. Key responsibilities:
· To play an integral role alongside other senior colleagues to pursue an ambitious Income Generation Plan.
· To secure significant income through charitable Trusts and grant making organisations including statutory bodies to provide income to support organisational priorities.
· To research and identify appropriate funders whose criteria match RMCs’ work and develop plans, prepare cases for support, and submit compelling bids and complex grant applications as appropriate.
· To develop and maintain a strong pipeline of £50k+ prospects, working with fundraising and operational colleagues to develop high-value, strategic and multi-year opportunities.
· Work across teams and build effective relationships with team members to identify suitable projects for funding in line with strategy and budgets.
· Ensure we meet the funders reporting requirements, and that grant payments and income are monitored and reported against.
