We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
Over the next year we plan to significantly expand the teams focused on our Change work. As our Recruitment Manager, you’ll lead the recruitment process during this exciting period of growth, ensuring we bring in exceptional talent to help us achieve our mission. You’ll be working in a small and dynamic People team, collaborating with hiring managers and our Culture Lead.
Key responsibilities include:

Engage closely with hiring managers to gain insights into their teams and the specific skills and experience required.

Dandelion Time’s pioneering nature-based therapy seeks to rebuild the confidence and self-belief of children and families impacted by trauma, enabling them to take the necessary steps to move forward. To support our expansion across Kent, we have an exciting opportunity to join our close knit and hugely supportive team as the Bid Manager. We have just launched our five-year plan and need an experienced, confident and collaborative individual who will be able to hit the ground running.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and supported by an experienced part-time Bid Writer you will be lead on the development and implementation of the income generation strategy for bids, primarily from Trusts and Foundations. Your focus will be to identify a diverse range of high value opportunities to build a pipeline of sustainable income.
To excel in this role you will demonstrate significant experience of researching and writing detailed and compelling proposals for trusts. You will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding income targets, securing one-off or multi-year grants of five-figure sums or above and multi-year funding.
Your excellent communication skills will enable you to cultivate and manage relationships with key decision-makers, including the day-to-day management of both new and existing funders.

You will be based at our West Farleigh (Maidstone) site but will on occasion visit our other sites including Shadoxhurst (Ashford) and Shorne (Gravesend) and new ones as we grow. Please note that public transport is limited at all our sites so you will need your own transport.

Housing Support & Recovery Worker
Hours: 30 - 37 hours per week
Salary: £27,876 - £30,002 pro rata (Salary dependent on skills, experience and knowledge)
Contract: Permanent
Base: Micklewood House, OX4 2AQ

Job purpose: Provide flexible, proactive and assertive support, to residents of our housing projects, to promote recovery and independence within a positive risk management approach to adults with serious and enduring mental health issues. This specific project supports those who may have experienced domestic abuse, sexual violence and therefore have specific trauma.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment of mental health needs & risk
- Creation and management of appropriate strategies to manage risks for individuals and environment
- Providing proactive individual support planning and case management in conjunction with residents and external stakeholders
- Property and housing management including health and safety responsibilities, fire safety checks and arranging repairs to maintain a safe environment
- Record keeping and administration
- Interagency working and liaison
- Promotion of community interaction to improve physical and mental wellbeing
- Formulate and see through plans for residents to move on to more long-term resident accommodation within commissioned timeframes

We are recruiting self-employed advocates to provide independent and confidential advocacy on behalf of NYAS to children, young people and adults in a variety of settings such as children’s homes, schools, secure units etc. We are looking for people to service areas in West Berkshire, Wokingham or Slough.
Your role will enable them to ensure their voices are heard within decision-making processes that effect their lives. You will do this by listening to what they want and by informing them of their rights to get their wishes and feeling heard.
To be considered you must have significant experience of direct work with children, young people or adults in a related setting.

Working closely with our Learning & Development manager and Community manager delivering work experience and learning and development opportunities to the ex-homeless men and women [known as companions] who live within the nearby Emmaus community. Your role will embrace customer service, merchandising, staff supervision and everything else you’d expect in a retail environment, plus overseeing house clearance services and a fleet of five vans that play a crucial role to collect donated items and deliver customer purchases.
