About the role

Breast Cancer Now’s life-saving research and essential support services are only possible because of our amazing supporters. The supporter experience manager will help to ensure all Breast Cancer Now supporters have brilliant experiences with us. This means supporters are thanked properly, kept up to date about the impact of their support and given interesting, relevant opportunities to support again. This varied role will work with teams across the organization to share supporter insight, embed best practice, and create consistency. You’ll be leading mystery shopping, running workshops with teams and creating resources. Your role will have a particular emphasis on working to make sure individual giving supporters are well looked after.

About you

The successful candidate will be passionate about championing supporters’ wants, needs and preferences, advocating for supporters to be considered at every turn. You’ll have worked on activities to improve supporter or customer experience previously, whether in a charity or company. You’ll be confident in managing projects which involve multiple teams, and most importantly you’ll be able to get people excited about experience.

About the role 

As our Head of Legacy and Mid-Value, you will lead the dedicated Legacy and Mid-Value Squad to set and deliver predominantly one-to-many direct marketing strategies that will allow us to unlock the great potential we have within our large and committed supporter-base for donors to give at a higher level either during their life-time and/or by leaving a legacy for children.

You will work within a scrum (championing agile ways of working within the team) to deliver ambitious results and will collaborate closely with the other teams across Fundraising and Marketing as well as contributing to global communities of specialists in Legacy and Mid-Value fundraising.

In this role, you will: 

• Lead the Legacy Engagement and Mid-value Squad to create top-tier fundraising programs.
• Develop and implement integrated plans, budgets, and forecasts for Legacy, In-memory, and mid-value fundraising to achieve long-term goals.
• Establish and maintain a clear vision to achieve the Squad's objectives over various time frames.
• Collaborate closely with the Loyalty Squad, Regional teams, and the Philanthropy team to execute the strategy.
• Create and apply new strategies to promote legacies to key groups like volunteers, high-value donors, and in-memory donors.
• Oversee supporter relationship management and pipeline development for both programs.
• Use data to continually optimize our work for the best use of resources and highest income in the mid to long term.
• Support squad members to independently complete tasks for maximum impact.
• Advocate for the needs of legacy and mid-value audiences in cross-organizational projects.

About you 

To be successful, it is important that you have: 

• Proven experience of providing effective and inspiring leadership
• A good understanding of legacy and individual giving programmes and what drives success
• Experience of managing internal and external creative, direct marketing, telemarketing and digital agencies
• Extensive experience in legacy and/or mid-value fundraising, including prospecting, pipeline development and stewardship
• Proven experience in all the levers of fundraising performance and journey planning (data, media, content, creative)
• Experience using data analysis, insight to improve fundraising performance or pipeline management
• Proven experience of using consumer insight at the heart of strategy, proposition, and journey development
• Proven commercial acumen and a demonstrable track record of improving marketing effectiveness and efficiency
• Be a natural communicator, both verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

Ways of Working:

Fundraiser

37.5 hours per week

Salary: £27,000-£29,000pa

About St Joseph’s Hospice

St. Joseph's Hospice Merseyside is the oldest and largest hospice on Merseyside, providing specialized end-of-life care for patients with a wide range of life-limiting conditions. The hospice's 31-bed Inpatient Unit is located in a beautiful setting within a conservation area and 12 acres of natural woodland in Thornton, Merseyside. The hospice's specialist healthcare teams care for over 200 patients and their families from across Liverpool, Sefton, and West Lancashire every year. Our services are completely free to our patients and it costs around £10k per day to run the hospice.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Community Fundraiser to join our Community Fundraising team. Community is at the heart of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, and our community fundraising team play a vital role in building relationships and raising funds across our community and catchment. As a Community Fundraiser you will enjoy working with people and supporting the community to maximise, they’re fundraising efforts for Shooting Star.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. We support families across Surrey and London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

As a key member of our Community Fundraising team, you will work closely with the Community Fundraising Manager on new and existing fundraising activities, helping to maintain and develop existing relationships and work proactively to identify new contacts and opportunities for development.  This is an exciting role, in a growing team within a charity that makes a huge impact across our communities. • Personally building relationships to secure four and five figure plus grants or other key, long-term, income generating accounts.
• Experience of researching and developing proposals for funders, clients, or other stakeholders.
• Highly developed writing skills - the ability to write compelling and accessible proposals, reports and appeals.

Changing Faces are looking for a new business specialist to help grow corporate partnership income at Changing Faces. This role will be 90% focused on new business with a 10% account management split.

You will have an excellent network of corporate funders and a proven track record of successfully bidding, winning and managing corporate fundraising partnerships. The role will suit someone with excellent communication and relationship building skills along with plenty of creative ideas to engage potential partners and win pitches.

As Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will: 

• Identify, cultivate, and secure new corporate partnerships at five and six figure level
• Secure new corporate partnerships including corporate foundations, Charity of the Year, cause related marketing and strategic partnerships
• Be a senior brand ambassador for the charity, engaging and developing effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Build a robust pipeline of partnerships opportunities

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Experience of working in a corporate partnerships/corporate social responsibility/marketing/sales environment
• Ability to win and deliver major charity & corporate partnerships (£50-100k+)
• Experience of writing compelling copy, pitches and campaigns to secure new partnerships
• Strong commitment to Changing Faces values, vision and purpose and to keeping the voices of people with visible differences at the heart of all work

Senior Marketing Officer (Supporter Activation)

Contract: 11 Months Fixed term contract, Maternity Cover, 35 hours per week

Salary: £39,358 - £41,325 with excellent benefits

Location: London, UK
Hybrid Working: A minimum of 40% of working time is spent face to face, either in London office, or as a result of external engagement or travel for WaterAid. WaterAid is located at Canary Wharf, London and this will be your location and contract base.

About the Team:
The Supporter Activation team sits within the Supporter Marketing team and plays a key role in our successful and innovative fundraising programme. The team is vital to the long-term income growth of the organisation; recruiting new individual givers through audience led communications across a range of activation channels.

About the Role:
As our Senior Marketing Officer (Supporter Activation) you will project lead our highly successful water bill insert campaign (managed in close collaboration with the Water Industry Partnership Team). Overseeing the delivery of these campaigns from briefing through to post-campaign analysis, as well as the development of new ideas to maximise the opportunities offered by this relationship.

You'll support the Marketing Manager and wider team in the day-to-day development, management and delivery of a number of fundraising campaigns. In particular our successful DRTV programme, managing the relationship with our telemarketing agency and support in planning and delivery of new creative.

You'll also:

• Managing our response handling agency to ensure effective conversion of response for our DRTV campaigns through regular monitoring and testing; providing training and development and analysing results regularly.
• Manage agency relationships; overseeing the management and development of any campaigns from briefing through to post-campaign analysis, collaborating with external partners, taking responsibility for resolving queries, trafficking all stages of the project and escalation of potential problems.
• Help develop and manage expenditure and income budgets. Help create the budget, to monitor monthly management accounts and key performance indicators and to undertake reforecasts as required.
• Regularly monitor, evaluate and analyse campaigns, providing regular results and recommendations for strategy development based on reviews and analysis.
• Liaise with team leaders and project managers in other departments to identify and implement new cross-working opportunities utilising specialist knowledge and experience in direct marketing.
• Remain up-to-date about developments in the external market-place and assess the suitability of new, innovative approaches for recruiting supporters to remain competitive.
• Take responsibility for ensuring that all supporter communications are consistent with the WaterAid brand, working closely with the International, Policy and Campaigns, and Communications teams.

About You:

• Successful track record of working in a direct marketing role, including proven experience of planning and executing campaigns across different channels, including digital.
• Experience of managing telemarketing, call handling and large-scale print campaigns
• Experience of managing creative development, including writing creative briefs, working with creative agencies, ensuring the correct sign off procedures are followed, and appropriate stakeholders consulted.
• Project management experience including identifying opportunities and managing through to implementation.
• Ability to work flexibly and independently, to manage varying competing priorities and meet strict deadlines with often changing priorities.
• The ability to work as part of a team and collaboratively with a diverse group to deliver cross-organisational projects or objectives.
• Excellent numeracy skills with attention to detail and experience in monitoring, evaluating and analysing campaigns.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience managing external suppliers.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• Experience of working in the voluntary / fundraising sector.
• Experience of delivering supporter direct mail and communication programmes.
• Experience managing new product development and/or innovation projects.
• Empathy with and understanding of overseas development issues.

• Experience in income generating and stewardship event development, project management and delivery.
