CB Plus is seeking a talented and creative Fundraising Manager, who will be integral to supporting the financial sustainability of CB Plus. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet financial targets, ensuring a consistent and expanding revenue stream. This includes building a diversified income base for CB Plus, planning and coordinating fundraising events, and building and managing relationships with commissioners, funders, and donors.
The Fundraising Manager will identify new funding opportunities and secure potential donors, researching funding prospects and developing strategies for new support. They will prepare grant proposals, manage grant reporting requirements, and liaise with funding organisations to present CB Plus’s case for support. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, excellent communication and relationship-building skills and will be dedicated to our cause.
The postholder will be part of CB Plus’s newly formed Management Team. The Fundraising Manager will report to the Director of Operations and work closely with the CEO.

Project Overview:
We are embarking on a large-scale project to expand and enhance the facilities and services of Living Potential Care Farm. We urgently seek an experienced and dynamic Fundraiser to lead our fundraising efforts, ensuring the successful realization of this transformative initiative.
Role Summary:
The Fundraiser will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the expansion project. This includes identifying and securing funding from diverse sources such as grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donations, foundations, and lotteries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising for large projects, excellent communication skills, and a strong network within the philanthropic community. Due to the urgency of this project, the candidate must be able to start immediately and hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a detailed fundraising plan for the project.
- Research and identify potential funding sources, including grants, trusts, foundations, corporate sponsors, and lotteries.

Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager

About Us
Founded in 2012 we are a UK charity that provide support, advice and information to patients and their loved ones who are affected by cancers of the head, mouth, neck, chest, and those throat cancers caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). We also campaign for universal HPV vaccination to prevent any future devastating throat cancer cases. Raising awareness of HPV and how it causes throat cancers has been and continues to be a large part of our work.
About the role
The successful applicant will work closely with the CEO, the management team, and Trustees to implement, develop and deliver a fundraising strategy that meets the charity’s challenging income targets. This post will play a vital role in helping us to deliver our range of throat cancer support programmes to patients, families, as well as to medical professionals and the scientific research sectors. This is a unique and challenging role, which will see the successful applicant working on a variety of projects at any one time, whilst working under pressure to deliver results. It is therefore important that anyone in that role has great communication skills as well as experience of managing fundraising events on a nationwide scale.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fundraising duties as required.
- Be the customer service face for all fundraisers and fundraising activities.
- Play a key role in the development and implementation of TCF’s community fundraising activities and third-party events.
- Work with the Business Development Manager and CEO to develop key messages, briefings, and positioning statements to ensure consistency and maximise the impact of our work

- Review and adapt current events in the portfolio to maximise supporter engagement, retention and income growth.
- Booking and liaising with all suppliers involved with events and building and maintaining strong relationships with them.
- Working across the charity and externally, to significantly grow both volunteer numbers and activity.
- Develop the way we speak about volunteering, our brand, and associated materials, in order to attract more volunteers with the skills we need.

Your role
This role will be required to manage a team of face-to-face fundraisers who will sign up regular supporters within a defined geographical area (two main hubs are in Newcastle and Scarborough) and raise vital long-term funding for the charity. This will include opportunities to work alongside other specialist teams including our volunteer lifeboat crews and lifeguards, playing an integral part in reaching both local and team income targets and contributing towards the wider objectives of the RNLI.
As a Face-to-Face Fundraising Manager, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:
- Recruit, train and performance manage a team of motivated Face to Face Fundraisers
- Manage and develop a portfolio of fundraising locations in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Cleveland and Yorkshire areas
- Measure performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) i.e. targets and budget
- Create and execute detailed delivery plans, mitigating for risks and opportunities
- Maintain and develop internal and external stakeholder relationships
About you
Working at the frontline of our fundraising activities, you’ll have excellent communication skills, people management capabilities, proven track record of working to targets and a passion to manage a team who engage with the beach-going public and event visitors to get their commitment for regular support for the cause.
You’ll be an effective team player with a pragmatic and solution-focused approach to problem solving and a calm approach to a busy workload. You’ll be positive, confident, determined, resilient, with very strong communication skills and naturally outgoing.
You’ll be a self-starter who can lead an energetic and innovative team to success. Able to adhere to codes of conduct, policies and be Fundraising Regulator compliant in all that you do and deliver. You’ll be flexible and prepared to work out of office hours with considerable travel throughout the year, peaking through the summer months. Substantial annual leave during the summer would not be practical for this role.
To be considered as the Face-to-Face Manager (North East), you will need:
- Ideally, proven experience and success in face-to-face fundraising. This will either have been gained working for a charity or a fundraising agency or regional sales experience
- Excellent people management skills and evidence of managing and motivating a team of paid staff or volunteers to achieve goals/targets

As Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for growing the charitable income across all streams (grants, foundations, corporate sponsors), maximising members program, establishing a sound data base for fundraising and establishing a volunteer fundraising committee. Knowledge of the funding sector and the work of the charity, making a credible ambassador for the charity. Understands and implements good funder stewardship practice. Understands the requirements of the fundraising regulator, particularly as it applies to trusts and statutory funding.

Substantial (three or more years) proven track record of raising five and six figure gifts from Trusts, Foundations, or public bodies, and demonstrable experience of meeting financial targets. Are you a skilled and knowledgeable fundraiser who can help us secure the funding we need to ensure that children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive the education they are legally entitled to?
We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious fundraiser who is keen to develop their skill set across the fundraising mix and looking for an opportunity with strategic input. Making applications to trusts and foundations to secure grant funding will be the key focus of the role, so you will need to have a successful track record in either trusts and foundations or corporate fundraising with extensive experience of bid writing and stewardship. INCOME GENERATION

Support the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications on the implementation of the fundraising strategy, in line with changing landscape with a core focus on corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, company giving and general appeals;

Collaborate on ideas for creative sponsorship and funding opportunities in line with our strategic ambitions and develop and submit high quality and compelling funding proposals and tender documents to unlock funding;

Work with key stakeholders, including our Policy and Programme delivery teams to scope and develop exciting new project proposals;

PARTNERSHIPS MANAGEMENT

Refugee Action Kingston (RAK) is an independent charity dedicated to helping the successful integration of refugees and people seeking asylum into the local community. With over three decades of experience, we provide a holistic service which includes advice on welfare, benefits, and immigration, alongside education, counselling, and career guidance.
In 2023/24 we supported 2,036 people:

This is an exciting time to join RAK at the start of the new fundraising strategy for 2024-2028. Purpose of the role
As Fundraising Manager, you will lead the fundraising functions of the charity to generate income, meet organisational targets, and ensure development opportunities are effectively maximised. Working with the Director and programme teams, you will develop and write competitive bids, growing capacity and securing income for 24/25 and beyond. We are focused on multi-year bids and opportunities that deliver the best outcomes for our client community. As a client-led organisation, we strive to meet the needs of our clients and deliver impact-focused programmes.
The Fundraising Manager will have proven experience of successful grant writing and demonstrate a track record of fundraising achievements across multiple income streams.
Main areas of accountability
Fundraising - general
- Writing and submitting bids, tenders and proposals to ensure income targets are met in line with performance objectives
- Responsibility for the development and the implementation of RAK’s fundraising strategy, in line with organisational strategy and resources
- Providing stewardship to existing donors and supporters to maximise income and ensure long-term funding relationships

Trusts and Foundations, Statutory Funding

Individual Giving
- Ensuring that donations are acknowledged in an appropriate and timely manner in line with the stewardship policy

- Preparing appealing fundraising campaigns and cases for support to the general public

About the Role
This role is an opportunity to develop your fundraising skills and gain experience across a broad range of incomes streams while also providing essential administrative support across our small charity. You will already have strong digital skills and will take the lead on developing our digital fundraising through expanding the effectiveness and reach of our social media. You will oversee the administration of our Peak Partners scheme for businesses and lead on signing up new bronze and silver level partners. You will also lead on community fundraising - supporting individuals and groups who want to fundraise for the Foundation. The role will also include helping to distribute much-needed grants to projects across the National Park.
This role would be ideally suited to someone with a digital communications background who wants to develop skills in fundraising, or an individual with some fundraising or sales experience who is looking to move into the environmental sector. Post Summary
Free Tibet is a small but effective campaign organisation based in south London. We’re looking for a Fundraising Manager who can transform our routine fundraising and lead expert strategies for income generation. This role is best suited to an experienced fundraiser who is confident in managing multiple streams of income and a small team. We welcome applications from candidates with diverse professional backgrounds, but you need to have worked in a fundraising management role before.
We are currently implementing a pay grading system at Free Tibet, offering increases with each year of service. The salary for this position starts at up to £45,000 based on the successful candidate’s experience.
Location
Our main office is in Brixton, south London. Oversee all income-generation activity across Free Tibet and Tibet Watch. Ensure continuous improvement and innovation and an appropriate balance of fundraising activity across all streams. Current streams include postal appeals, online appeals, and the Free Tibet online shop.

Manage applications for grant funding on behalf of both Free Tibet and Tibet Watch, working with the Fundraising Officer to build a strong portfolio of five and six-figure grants and steward them for renewal.

Lead on the recruitment and retention of donors, especially Major Donors, and redevelop supporter journeys and stewardship programs.
