About the Role:
This role is crucial in the long-term retention and growth of our partnership revenue streams. The role requires strong interpersonal, negotiation, and project management skills to maintain and nurture mutually beneficial strategic alliances to enhance Urban Synergy’s capacity and reach. The position also provides value to our partners and will ensure our collaborations with businesses, foundations, government agencies, and non-profit organisations are sponsored, supported, and sustainable.

What You'll Do:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Corporate partners within FTSE 250.
Develop and implement a partnership strategy to enhance financial support and resources for Urban Synergy programmes.
Develop tailored partnership packages that align with the philanthropic priorities and interests of our Corporate partners.
Prepare compelling and professionally written proposals and presentations to potential corporate partners. Ensure they are aligned with the interests of potential partners.
Effectively communicate the impact and benefits of partnerships to prospective sponsors.
Lead negotiations and finalise partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with Urban Synergy's values and goals.
Work with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.
Collaborate with programme managers to ensure seamless integration of corporate partnerships into Urban Synergy's initiatives.
Provide regular updates to the leadership team on partnership progress and outcomes.
Work closely with the finance team to manage and report on the financial aspects of corporate partnerships.
Ensure budgetary alignment with partnership goals and objectives.
Who we are looking for:
Proven experience in a partnership development or similar role, preferable within the non-profit sector.
Bachelors’ Degree in Business, management, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Works collaboratively within a team and also work independently

About the Role:
This new position will drive our income generation efforts through various channels and initiatives. Who we are looking for:
Someone with substantial and demonstrable experience of working with corporates within FTSE 250 and the commercial sector. This includes proactively acquiring new partnerships and maximising existing relationships, including how to access the decision makers.
Have excellent presentation and negotiating skills, representing the charity in a range of settings and to a range of audiences.
Be a self-starter with strong sales and influencing skills, Able to work independently in particular in developing corporate fundraising products and tools.

Main Responsibilities
You will use your understanding of what makes a compelling fundraising ask to develop 5-6-figure applications to trust, Lottery and statutory funders and to build robust cases for support and compelling proposition documents for the wider Philanthropy and Partnerships Team to use in approaching corporate and major philanthropic funders. Working closely with both fundraisers and delivery leads across the charity, you will identify appealing funding opportunities aligned with Diabetes UK's strategic priorities, and make sure the team have what they need to showcase these confidently to high-value supporters. You will also use cross-charity relationships to manage a portfolio of committed trust and statutory/Lottery grants.
This role would suit a natural relationship builder with excellent organisation and copywriting skills.
Ideal Candidate
You will be a highly skilled trust and/or statutory funder with experience of securing five- and six-figure grants and managing externally funded projects. You will have the versatility to use these skills to help meet the requirements of high-value corporate and philanthropic donors. The Major Giving team is made up of corporate partnerships, philanthropy and trusts and raises £6 million a year from our partners, funders and donors. It is part of the Income Generation directorate, which includes Individual Giving, Organisational Insight and Supporter Relations.

Purpose of the role
ZSL’s Patron Executive will maximise fundraising revenue for ZSL through our Patron programme and will drive forward our wider mid-value donation portfolio. The postholder will be responsible for the recruitment, cultivation and engagement of our Patrons, underpinning strategic areas of delivery and generating essential income. The Patron programme is currently under review, and the postholder will support and lead on the review and will launch the new strategy and programme
Key responsibilities:
- Lead on the management of the Patron programme and mid-value donor portfolio.
- Will manage the day-to-day delivery of the Patron programme including coordinating the renewals process and responding to enquiries.
- Develop and deliver the recruitment to the Patronage programme, effectively promoting the programme across a range of audiences. Work with colleagues to identify and recruit prospects to the programme and deliver retention activity to uplift individuals to Patronage
- Develop and deliver the retention programme for Patrons, collaborating with colleagues on stewardship and cultivation plans including a programme of communications and engagements, including events.
- Support the Senior Philanthropy Manager and Development Director to increase income and develop other fundraising opportunities.
About You
- Experience in fundraising and donor development in the charity or cultural sector, or in membership engagement.
- Experience in maintaining a network of contacts through stewardship, cultivation and donor management
- Experience in supporter retention which may include events and communications
- Knowledge of fundraising regulations and best practice including Gift Aid and GDPR
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in using MS office suite and presentation software.
- Numeracy skills to work with budgets and financial reporting
- A positive and enabling attitude and a pro-active, creative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to think creatively with strong influencing skills

Are you interested in developing your career as Deputy Head of Fundraising with the wonderful educational charity Ark? This charity seeks to ensure that all children regardless of their background have access to a great education and real choices in life.
This role will support the Head of Fundraising in leading the team responsible for securing donations from HNWIs, Charitable Trusts and corporate partners, to help to deliver activity across Ark schools and its range of ventures. As Deputy Head of Fundraising, you will develop and implement fundraising initiatives, working creatively to build new relationships and establish current and new sources of income, particularly with new corporate partners. You will also manage a number of longstanding relationships with HNWI’s who have made significant donations to Ark, as well as support the new business prospect research of HNWIs and companies, delivering an engagement programme of stewardship activity.
To be successful in the role of Senior Major Giving Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience of leading high value fundraising bids (ideally trusts and foundations/corporates as well as HNWI), and in managing a team.
- Evidence of developing new business prospects into substantial donation
- Ability to write inspiring, accurate reports with up-to-date information from colleagues/sources for funders

The Talent Set are delighted to partner with Moorfields Eye Charity to support their recruitment of a brand-new Fundraising communications officer. This is a permanent opportunity offering a hybrid working pattern. The salary for this role is between £35,280-£41,160 depending on experience.
Integral to the success of this role will be creating engaging content to support the breadth of the charity’s fundraising activities (from major donors (both individual and organisational), to legators, individual supporters, event participants, community fundraisers and raffle and lottery players) in line with the charity’s five-year fundraising strategy (2024-2029).
Working closely with the fundraising teams, the postholder will be responsible for developing and delivering the charity’s multi-media activities with a focus on increasing visibility (internal and external) of the charity and staff (hospital and institute) engagement, inspiring potential donors, external partners.
You will demonstrate impact through a steady stream of new and engaging content about the charity for dissemination to supporters, the media, patients, staff and other stakeholders.

- An outstanding fundraiser, with a track record of securing four and five figure donation.

Role Description:
Research and Prospecting - Working alongside the Director, Development Committee and the Board, you will identify and research prospective people, companies and grant-makers that could support Queer Britain.

Cultivation - Using the full resources of Queer Britain, you will create cultivation plans that may include informal meetings, tours of the museum, meetings with key Museum staff, workshop visits and private dinners

This role will play a critical part in the success of the small but driven fundraising department at Ark and will contribute towards their target of raising £3 million per year. The postholder will work to support the fundraising efforts of Ark’s 39 schools, managing a portfolio of small to medium trust applications up to £10k, developing inspiring cases, and working to achieve agreed income targets. This role will also involve prospect research, with the postholder identifying and segmenting potential donors. You will also manage relationships with various internal departments and the schools’ network to gain support for funding proposals and reports.
To be successful in the role of Trust Fundraising Officer, you will need:
- An understanding of trusts fundraising, grant management and what is needed for successful applications up to £10,00
- Reporting and budgetary knowledge to support input into grant applications and financial monitoring processes, with proficiency in prospect research.
- Excellent communication skills with the authority to inspire, with strong persuasive and negotiating skills resulting in positive outcomes.
