The Head of EDIB is a fantastic opportunity to head a team that focuses on how Turn2us maximises the impact for people facing financial insecurity by developing equitable and inclusive processes to help embed a culture where equity and inclusion are engrained in everything we do. The team covers responsibilities for EDIB, safeguarding and co-production.
About You
You will bring experience of designing and implementing EDIB initiatives which have had a demonstrable effect on both organisational culture and the social impact of the organisation’s work. You will have previously worked with an extensive range of internal and external stakeholders to embed EDIB in their own areas. You will have an understanding of the barriers individuals face and an understanding of intersectionality and how that impacts experiences. You’ll need strong analytical skills to be able to translate data, research, and trends into strategy and actionable plans.

If you join us at Turn2us, you will start on 25 days annual leave per annum (prorated for part time workers). Each year in the month you joined, you will receive additional day of leave up to a maximum of 30 days. On top of this you will receive bank holidays. The charity also offers 2 volunteering days per year to allow staff to gain experiences and skills outside of work for example at a food bank or becoming a trustee at another charity.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Team and Rota Administrator for the National Domestic Abuse Helpline. The National Domestic Abuse Helpline is Refuge’s largest service. We have a busy team of Helpline Advisers working around the clock to support our callers, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, and a fantastic pool of volunteers. The Triage Worker sits within the Triage Team in the pilot area, working alongside the Triage IDVA. The Triage Worker will focus on all aspects of the case relating to the Perpetrator in cases where the perpetrator has been referred to the team for an assessment of suitability for a Positive Requirement during an application for a DAPO.

Respect supports frontline organisations across the UK, so that together we can end domestic abuse. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Groundwork as Digital Media Officer at Cannington Shaw Heritage Skills Academy, where you'll be at the heart of our mission to preserve and promote heritage skills. At it’s height, Cannington Shaw was the largest glass bottle maker in the world. All that now remains is the # 7 Bottle Shop – a fine example of what was once one of the first regenerative tank furnaces in the world. Derelict since closure of the works in the 1980s, it is now badly overgrown, with considerable structural deterioration. The site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, Grade II Listed, and on the Heritage at Risk Register since 2002.
In the ownership of the Cannington Shaw Preservation Trust, the site is about to undergo a transformation as the first phase in restoring the building begins thanks to a £1.3m grant from the St Helens Town Deal.
A partner in the process, Groundwork Cheshire Lancs & Merseyside are leading on a project to develop and deliver a Heritage Skills Academy that aims to link the opportunities presented by the conservation and restoration of the building with local people wishing to develop their skills – with a particular focus on heritage construction skills.
This role is designed to provide practical hands on experience of working on a live heritage project, allowing the successful applicant to develop their experience of partnership working, – as well as a wide range of heritage skills, crafts and techniques.

Enjoying unique lifestyle opportunities, St Helena Island is a self-governing overseas territory of the United Kingdom. Although better placed to develop economically and socially as a result of opening our international airport in 2017, we are not at the stage of self-sufficiency and therefore remain dependent on UK government aid.
St Helena is in receipt of financial aid which supports a significant amount of the operational costs of running key public services. In addition, St Helena also receives donor funding for key sectors such as infrastructure development and conservation from donors including HMG, the EU and the UN. Reliance on a small number of donors puts finding continued investment and support into the Island at risk. With uncertainty around future sources and the loss of EU funding it is important to develop alternative sources of income; this includes the continued support to the UK-St Helena Heritage Trust, a UK charity, and to fundraise for heritage projects on St Helena. Your role will be vital in exploring new funding opportunities, including through the UK-St Helena Heritage Trust, to broaden the number of donors.
You will identify and secure additional sources of funding for St Helena, preparing key documentation and ensuring donor-specific monitoring arrangements are in place. Setting up and managing systems to gather intelligence on funding opportunities from new and existing funding streams, you must track, assimilate and disseminate this intelligence.
Experienced in a similar role and educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have already secured external funding for an organisation. Your background is in Public Sector or Non-Governmental organisations, and you understand the requirements of the Charities Commission. Politically astute, you have worked in culturally diverse organisations and in the development sector at national or international level. You have experience of the international institutional funding landscape and country-level funding and understand the needs of major funding bodies, multilateral development agencies, philanthropic funding sources etc.
The fee based on a self-employed basis will be £20k based on 6 days per month.
