About the role:
The Senior Acquisition Executive will lead on the development of and successfully implement Concern Worldwide UK’s mass participation events and challenges strategy, to recruit new supporters to the organisation, and grow our base of supporters and unrestricted fundraising income.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of complicated procedures in events, direct / digital marketing, product management or fundraising team. You will have demonstrable analytical skills and highly numerate with experience of keeping and monitoring financial & budgeting reports. You will have experience and knowledge of mass participation event fundraising, including donor stewardship and donor recruitment through a variety of channels and audiences. You will have experience of using a fundraising database for effective analysis of direct marketing campaigns and trend giving patterns. To succeed in this role you will strong planning and project management skills and excellent organisation skills and experience of managing a varied workload.

About our office:

The British Asian Trust is a diaspora-led international development organisation, delivering programmes tackling problems and inequalities in the areas of education, livelihoods, mental health, child protection and conservation in South Asia.
As Philanthropy Manager, you will work in a small, dynamic team – aiming to secure lasting, unrestricted donations and foster high-impact connections through BAT’s Founders Circle and other HNW prospects, corporates and family foundations.
You will manage and renew a mid-level donor portfolio, working closely with the executive team and senior volunteers (including Trustees) to maximise network opportunities and proactively make fundraising asks at a 5-figure level. This role is ideal for someone with the skills and confidence to work proactively to engage donors directly, supporting the team as needed with larger asks and cross-team collaborations. You will drive donor relationships, create effective donor engagement strategies, and develop compelling copy/proposals.
To support income growth, you will help further a creative and opportunistic fundraising team culture, making effective approaches and asks to increase reach and engage new audiences. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful change in South Asia, while developing your expertise in a supportive team focused on donor relationships. With exposure to senior leadership and hands-on engagement, you’ll have the chance to innovate and build lasting connections with BAT’s valued supporters.
The Role
- Portfolio Renewal: Own a portfolio of warm mid-level donors (typically contributing 5-figure gifts), with a focus on relationship-building to secure renewed asks/unrestricted support to our Founder’s Circle.
- Engagement & Event Support: Support key donor engagement events like our annual charity dinner, ensuring an engaging experience for HNW donors during these impactful moments and stewarding accordingly.
- Compelling Communication: Write succinct, compelling materials, such as presentations, proposals, and cases for support, to communicate our vision and keep donors inspired and engaged.
- Collaborative Initiative: Work with senior stakeholders, including Trustees and executive team members, to maximise donor potential through a team approach. Remain agile and adaptable to respond to tasks and produce high-quality, detailed work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Data & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records on the CRM (Salesforce), ensuring donor data is up to date and compliant, to effectively track and manage donor pipelines.
About You
- Mid-Level Giving Experience: Ideally, you’ve managed a similar donor portfolio, such as a Giving Circle or mid-level program, and know the nuances of donor engagement at a 5-figure level.
- Adaptable, Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the ability to prioritise tasks and respond to new opportunities as necessary.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential, as you’ll need to engage and inspire donors while keeping communication clear and concise.
- Collaborative Team Player: Able to work well with senior leadership while remaining approachable and flexible, and open to shaping your approach to meet team needs.

The Friends of Conquest Hospital CIO supports The Conquest Hospital by providing additional equipment and services that directly enhances the health, comfort and wellbeing of patients, their families, and hospital staff. We aim to ensure that patients receive the best level of care, diagnosis and treatment locally. Over the past decade, we have donated items and services totaling over £3.5m.
The General Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of The Friends of Conquest Hospital, overseeing daily operations and leading the development and implementation of new opportunities for the charity. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the General Manager will work collaboratively to fulfill the charity’s objectives, driving various fundraising initiatives. This dynamic, hands-on role requires a blend of strong management and operational skills, fundraising capabilities, excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, and a genuine passion for enhancing local healthcare services. You will bring a "can-do" attitude, balancing business as usual with a visionary approach to the charity’s growth and sustainability. Additional Information:

About the role
We’re looking for a case study officer to join our talented and ambitious press, PR and celebrity team.
The successful candidate will support all elements of the charity’s case study function including recruiting and engaging new individuals with the charity who are willing to share their personal experiences of breast cancer to support our work and managing and nurturing key relationships day-to-day so they have the best possible experience when supporting the charity.
A key element of the role will be supporting colleagues in the press, PR and celebrity team to identify and seize opportunities for case studies to share their experiences to raise awareness of breast cancer, Breast Cancer Now and how we’re here for anyone affected by this devastating disease.
You’ll will work with teams across the organisation to support them in sharing the voices of people affected by breast cancer through their work. Liaising closely with colleagues to understand where case study support is required, you’ll identify the people who, through sharing their personal experiences, can best support activities to deliver on charity objectives. Key to this will be gathering the relevant insight and identifying ways we can engage case studies with our work in a way that’s mutually beneficial.
About you
You’ll have a good understanding of issues impacting people affected by breast cancer. With this you’ll have an awareness of, sensitivity to and ability to adapt to their changing needs and circumstances and how this might impact their ability or wish to support the charity’s work.
When engaging individuals with sharing their story to support us, you’ll approach this work with professionalism, sensitivity and care at all times, being sure to identify opportunities bring about mutual benefit for both parties.
Handling sensitive information appropriately at all times is key to this role, and requires you to have a knowledge of GDPR regulations and a commitment to[VS3] following Breast Cancer Now’s compliance and confidentiality regulations. You’ll also be proficient in using CRM tools to store and record interactions and sensitive data relating to supporters.
A strong verbal and written communicator with high levels of organisation, you’ll be prompt in responding to supporters and colleagues appropriately and with clear and accurate information. You will also be a quick learner and work well as part of a fast-paced press, PR and celebrity team.

Dandelion Time’s pioneering nature-based therapy seeks to rebuild the confidence and self-belief of children and families impacted by trauma, enabling them to take the necessary steps to move forward. To support our expansion across Kent, we have an exciting opportunity to join our close knit and hugely supportive team as the Bid Manager. We have just launched our five-year plan and need an experienced, confident and collaborative individual who will be able to hit the ground running.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and supported by an experienced part-time Bid Writer you will be lead on the development and implementation of the income generation strategy for bids, primarily from Trusts and Foundations. Your focus will be to identify a diverse range of high value opportunities to build a pipeline of sustainable income.
To excel in this role you will demonstrate significant experience of researching and writing detailed and compelling proposals for trusts. You will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding income targets, securing one-off or multi-year grants of five-figure sums or above and multi-year funding.
Your excellent communication skills will enable you to cultivate and manage relationships with key decision-makers, including the day-to-day management of both new and existing funders.
